1-Star Review: Avoid MotivatedSellers.com
As a real estate investor, I've purchased a lot of lead services over the years, and MotivatedSellers.com has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've had.
The biggest issue is lead quality. I'd estimate that roughly 90% of the leads I've received have been unusable. A shocking number of them are mobile homes, despite being sold as opportunities worth hundreds of dollars per lead. In many cases, it seems like a simple Zillow search or basic property verification would have immediately identified issues before the lead was ever sold.
What's even more frustrating is the refund process. When you dispute an obviously invalid lead, you're forced into a lengthy review process that can take up to 15 days. Somehow, every refund request seems to take the maximum amount of time possible. If you're paying $250 or more per lead, there should be a much faster resolution process for clearly invalid submissions.
The customer service experience only makes matters worse. As shown in my text conversations, I was repeatedly told they were "waiting on answers" and would know more "tomorrow." Days turned into weeks with little to no communication. Follow-up messages frequently went unanswered, and I was left chasing updates on disputes that should have been straightforward.
What really concerns me is the lack of lead verification. I was told that ownership and other key details are verified before leads are sold. Based on my experience, that simply hasn't been the case. The last several leads I received contained major issues that should have been caught during even the most basic review process.
If you're an investor looking for reliable motivated seller leads, I would strongly recommend proceeding with caution. Paying premium prices for low-quality leads, combined with slow refunds and poor communication, has made this service a significant waste of both time and money.
Overall Rating: 1/5 Stars.
