Good quality rug, very pleased

Ordered 3 rugs for our living/dining rooms online. I was somewhat worried about the quality or the rugs would not look as good as the pictures. I am very pleased that the quality and looks were exactly as seen on the website page. If I could I would include a picture of my living/dining rooms. Excellent quality rugs 100%.

Although my order was accepted on the phone I was later informed it would be a couple of months late. I did have the option of cancelling the order but the rug was one of the only ones in the colour I wanted.
When it arrived it looked very nice in my lounge but it was 8cm narrower than ordered. I was told this was a manufacturing "tolerance".
2cm or even 3cm maybe but 8cm is really quite a lot!!

Delivery was fast, with good communication throughout.
Rug was as expected, good quality and as represented on the website.
My particular issue with many rugs is that the corners curl, this isn’t the case with this rug, so I’m happy!

The company are easy to contact and respond promptly to orders. I had questions so did mine on the phone, and found the member of staff friendly and helpful, with accurate advice.
They kept us in the loop regarding delivery too.
Very pleased with our rug - good quality and looks lovely in the room.
A positive experience, would use again, especially as they have such a vast choice.

Excellent Customer service

Having recently moved house we needed a new rug for our front room, ideally in time for Christmas. We found a rug we liked, but unfortunately delivery was a problem (the delivery date moved several times). Modern Rugs customer service was excellent. They helped us to find a different rug, threw in free stain protection for the problems with the previous order and kept us posted on progress throughout. The new rug is great and arrived exactly as promised.

Very happy with the purchase. We had reservations about buying a rug over the internet but this company has provided us with easy ordering experience, quick delivery and a beautiful quality rug that complements our living room in an spectacular manner! Exactly as described and feels lovely and smooth when barefoot. The only thing I would point out is that if we had the option of square shape. All in all I would recommend this company with no doubt, and surely I will order from them again.

Beautiful quality rug, completely as described. Wasn't given much idea when delivery would be but was prompt.

Customer service has been good but the delivery service through Parcel Force very poor - not turning up, not telling you when they will and all day waits. Really spoiled the experience and resulted in me returning a rug received very late without even looking at it!

I ordered a rug on the 8th December as a gift for Christmas and received a confirmation email to say it will be delivered in 7-10 days. After 10 days I still had not received the item and was told when I contacted them that it was 7-10 working days but that the item would be delivered on the 19th December.

The item was not delivered on the 19th December so I contacted them again on the 20th December and was told it was due to be sent out for delivery later on that day. It still did not arrive.

By the end of December I still had not received the item. So I contacted the company again but no one answered the phone or replied to emails. There was no message on their answering service to say they were shut. I eventually emailed them to request a refund as I had no further communication from them as to when the rug would be delivered. I received an email back from them informing me that they had requested a refund back to my account. I received no apologies from them or any explanation as to why the rug was not delivered.

This company is poor with their communication and I would not recommend them. I certainly will not use them again.

A very high quality rug and the service was good

I had ordered the rug for my daughters birthday. It was to arrive in 7-14 days which I was reminded was working days when I inquired as I had not heard from them on a delivery date. I was told that it was unlikely to arrive early - and I was concerned because she is a student and was leaving her house post birthday. I arranged with the supplier to hold the rug until January when we could rearrange delivery. We then made plans for her to come home early (since she no longer needed to wait for her present) as she had just had surgery and was suffering a bit of a set back. Then without warning - they sent the rug for delivery as an early shipment arrived. When I contacted them again I got a rather short message that it has been dispatched and basically no longer their problem. We still don’t know if the rug will be safely delivered, except that Parcelforce are still holding it. Whilst I was really pleased with the honesty up front - I was disappointed that without consultation they changed the plan and now am at the mercy of a third party to arrange the plans myself. Still don’t know if the rug is worth all this hassle.

I purchased the Aurora Cloud Rug From Modern Rugs.co.uk.
The great thing about it was that I could pay through my Amazon Account so no having to put my account/card details or delivery address. The rug is absolutely stunning warm cream colours,grey and light reflecting silvers which look different from every angle. It has brought warmth and a cosy/classy feel to my contemporary grey living space. It looks very expensive and worth every penny. I highly recommend this company.

super happy with our rug and service received. now had the rug one month and so happy with its thick pile.
