Modern Musician's Gold Artist Academy is by far THE BEST program for independent musicians who take their art seriously, who want to make a decent income with what they do and love and who want to connect with as many people as possible to get their message out into the world!
I've tried a couple of music training programs before but I've never learned so many valuable new things in such a short time!
I have been working with the program for half a year now and already made more progress with my music career than ever before.

If you have great music and are serious about what it takes to be a full-time musician, look no further. The entire Modern Musician Gold Artist Program experience has truly been "golden" for me. Until I joined the program I was lost in regard to how to truly market my brand so that I could choose to be an independent musician and not assume that in order to be successful that I would need to be discovered. (Not that there’s anything wrong with being discovered) I needed a way to get my name out there on my own and build my own business. Michael has built a digital program that takes 10 years of his own personal experience and taught me how to do it myself in 3 months...let that sink in. The knowledge is priceless and the system for teaching it is solid. Every single coach on his team is a reflection of the professionalism and integrity that Michael demonstrates. The coaches are artists themselves so they "get it". In addition, they are helpful, respectful and demonstrate gratefulness and appreciation to me as their client. During a recent tour, I was hacked on social media. I felt so lost and desperate but they were happy to help me through it, they even extended my graduation and gave me an extra session to help me get back up-and-running! I went to Costa Rica with the MM team and the experience was life altering for me in so many ways. About four years ago I left my job as a firefighter/paramedic for the city of Los Angeles to see if it was possible for a guy in his late 50's to make a living as a songwriter.
I researched music marketing and took several courses... post here, post there, get on spotify, what about youtube... Instagram, facebook....
But how do I make a living?
Well, when the student is ready, the master is at hand. There was something about Michael's program that spoke my language. I went all in.
I've been mentored by Michael and his team for about a year now. I built my system, got the merchandise, and built my street team and email list to over 1,500 ppl.
But, I still couldn't quite see how I was going to make a living doing this....
Until Logan, one of my coaches, posted how he was making $5,000/month consistently.
High Dollar Offers!!!!!! Duh.
My first idea was to have a weekend retreat with a few fans.
Long story short, I'm taking 5 ppl to Scottsdale, AZ for a weekend together. $1,700/ticket. Pays for rooms, events and some goodies. They take care of their airfare.
There is no way on God's green earth I would have been able to achieve this on my own. I have definitely worked hard. But without the support and knowledge of the Modern Musician team, it never would have happened. Period.
PS, It takes money to make money and nothing is going to make it happen without total commitment. The resources are here.

Modern Musician is a magnetic force that the universe uses to attract those who are FINALLY ready to figure out what's been holding them back. This program has literally laid down a foundation that an artist in this modern age can easily benefit from if learning to successfully run your music business has been your ultimate desire. You will have all hands on in your learning process and with an open mind and creative imagination, this program will most certainly provide you with the results that you dreamed of achieving. Nothing comes over night but with persistence and by putting your money where your mouth is, you'll gain the keys to unlock your career and abilities to truly turn yourself into a fan magnet. I highly recommend this program to those who are still in doubt and on the fence. BET ON YOURSELF and take the risks needed to get where you want to be in life, it will be worth every penny!

My advice is to save your money. Yes they are very nice people and deliver what they say they will. That said, the question is... is it worth 5K? NO!!!!! The problem is that they offer very little support other than the one hour one on one sessions which in most cases are really 25 minutes and are rushed. Try to get an answer to your questions (and you will have plenty of them) and you are OUT OF LUCK. Submit a ticket and maybe you get a response within 24 hours and it usually doesn't answer your question but refers you to a video (that you've already watched) or to the daily sessions but good luck trying to get your question answered there. The Facebook page is also a joke. It's mostly Michael Walker asking for wins but very little useful interaction. Don't be taken in by the "Manychat" feature. From my perspective it is far too confusing and convoluted and highly impersonal. I expected more out of this program and was truly disappointed. When I brought it up to them they were compassionate and offered me some free bonus sessions. Yes, they agreed with my concerns in a very nice manner but sadly however they did not provide me with any real answers. :((

The Gold Artist Music program is an amazing platform to help independent artist launch their music and gain new fans/followers/supporters in a booming digital age! We look forward to continuing to grow with the team and share our successes along the way!

They have a good program but they are misleading in the entirety of the three month program. Some instructors don’t have the patients for questions or training and some if you don’t show up totally prepared they construct that part of the ClickFunnells without clear explanation of what there doing leaving one more confused. Even tho it’s a three month program they cram a lot of material down your throat in four weeks in order to have your program go live even tho you have no product to back it up. This was not made clear on the intro/interview sessions. When you tried to slow down and try to get clarity and ask questions you get the meeting with an admin person who says they want to help you understand and succeed what you get is their own decision not yours to terminate the relationship. I really wanted to get this completed, but there was no group decision. In the admin session it was made quickly known that I was not a good fit. To me they don’t like some questions and if there are problem with FB beyond your control they really don’t like that. They don’t like confusion and I feel they were in error because if they did their homework in the beginning they would have known we would not be a good fit but for $5000 it was worth the risk.
Guess what!! After being terminated I started to organize my FB music page only to find out that this program I was going to shell out $5000 for I could get they same results through FB/Instagram for less.
If you have $5000 to throw away, fine but you can achieve success through all FB offers for less.

Modern Musician was the foundation that I needed to have for my music career. They have a good crew of mentors that are really professional and genuinely want to help. I highly recommend it. I am so so grateful that I had the opportunity to work with them and I'm still continuing to work with them.

I've been trying to promote my music for years. I've tried lots of other programs and methods and spent lots of money. NOTHING has worked as well as Modern Musician!!

I was skeptical at first. Was this going to be another bust? But, I figured I'd give it one more shot. I'm so grateful I did!

The processes, systems and techniques are leading edge, highly automated and they work! I’ve been blown away! The training and support are better than anything I've ever experienced (including what I saw throughout an extended corporate career). Additionally, they're improving and expanding their offerings every few weeks. The MM Team are super smart, dedicated and passionate and they're active musicians who use the Program. They know how to get results.

It's been hard work, but I understand all the systems I'm using and I’m learning more literally every week. Further, I realize I've only scratched the surface of what their programs are capable of providing.

I'm finally making money with my music and I can see the techniques are scalable to grow my fan base and revenue beyond anything I could have imagined.

I recommend Modern Musician whole heartedly and without hesitation.

We found Modern Musician as we were looking to promote a new music release. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to grow your fan base, connect to new listeners and find fresh ways to create income as an artist. They are on top of their game!!!
You definitely should be ready to do a lot of work to move your creative entity forward. This isn't a publicity campaign--where you hire someone to do the work for you and hope for the best. But why would you want that? This is a mix of education, coaching & publicity implementation. Modern Musician gives you so much innovative information as well as a lot of technology training so you can find your ideal fans, connect with them and take your music career to the next level.

The Modern Musician Artist Development program is truly one of a kind. I had the chance to work directly with Michael Walker and other experienced coaches that really helped me find my focus in my music career. Since going through the program, my band and I have crowdfunded and recorded a $20K album, released 5 singles, gathered over 600 Spotify followers and reached a collective half a million streams on Spotify. These guys know their stuff and I owe a big part of their knowledge and support for helping me kickstart my music career. 10/10 recommend Modern Musician.

When I started Gold Artist Academy, I was completely overwhelmed. I didn't think I could master the concepts, the new tools, the websites, the metrics, the automation, relating to fans, targeting my audience, and live streaming. Amazingly, I did it all! Modern Musician is one of the few programs that I have utilized as a musician that provides a complete program and an approach to taking my music from being a hobby to being a bona fide business. Their coaches are excellent, and Michael is a visionary in the field. I would highly recommend the program to any musician trying to find a larger audience for their work.

If you are an independent musician with confidence in your music and serious about turning it into a career then I can't recommend modern musician highly enough. I researched and researched for over a year on how to market my music online and to start bringing in fans that I could connect with and was relatively unsuccessful to say the least. After teaming up with modern musician in just 3 months I now have a solid email list close to 100 people (starting from ZERO) and my own private group of fans who actually love my music and are willing to purchase merchandise from me. All the while the fan magnet systems are in place that those numbers continue to grow everyday. Modern Musician have a great team of coaches that know what they are doing and are always there for your support. The community they've built for musicians all at similar steps in their career is a great place to ask questions and reflect off of others' ideas and problems that they are facing. My experience with modern musician has been wonderful, I now have a viable business strategy to back up my music!

I have been involved with so many types of master minds, artist development programs, and webinars over the years to better myself and my craft but like most artists, most of these programs fall short in so many ways. "Modern Musician", and more importantly the team here, gives you a viable pathway to lay the ground work for "real" improvement in fan engagement, marketing as a artist, and real talk about ROI as a musician. If you want "real" answers not fluffed up numbers and fake reviews, then this is the only place I know of right now taking you literally from point A to point B as a musician. But honestly for me, the most important part was actually finding out more about me as an artist, who are my fans, what is my music, and who does it attract? I can't say enough about Michael Walker, Modern Musician, and the rest of the incredible team to truly do it justice but to say Thank you and I feel like I have made lasting relationships as well....Incredible!
