I paid for a full year of Mobbin mainly for the MCP integration, but the experience has been very disappointing. Instead of improving Claude Code output, the MCP server often made it produce worse, inconsistent, and sometimes nonsensical designs.

The design library itself is useful, but the MCP integration does not feel production-ready. What makes it more frustrating is the lack of a refund policy after paying for an annual subscription.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend subscribing for the MCP feature alone.

Great company! I mistaken what the website was offering (my bad) and purchased a plan. After reaching out to them, they refunded my purchase within an hour. Even though there TOS says no refunds, they went above and beyond. Thank you! :)

Edit: They have promptly issued a refund. Apart from their really bad UX around payments, billing and plans selection page, the application itself is very useful.

Original post: Absolutely horrible business ethics! Intentionaly creating UI to trick people into purchasing yearly subscriptions and not supporting free trial or refund.

Leur site n'est pas du tout user friendly. C'est fastidieux et compliqué. Le MCP ne fonctionne pas non plus avec Claude Code ou avec Figma. Les copier-coller sont une catastrophe. On est obligé de faire plusieurs manipulations manuelles alors qu'on aimerait automatiser ces actions. En termes d'expérience, c'est une catastrophe. Ce n'est qu'une base de données avec plein d'images d'applications.

Mobbin is not worth the money. After reading lots of comments on Reddit, I decided to give it a go, but I now suspect that many of those posts weren't real. Also, like many services, they offer a better price for an annual subscription, however, unlike many other services, you won't be able to cancel and get a pro-rata refund. It’s a dishonest practice and wouldn't recommend.

Mobbin gives you nearly nothing with a free account, so it's difficult to figure out if it's worth the cost. And the paywall is right in your face the whole time, and super annoying. And they only give "web" and "iOS" platform options; no native desktop, and no Android!

The website lags, loads poorly, and is basically just screenshots. They only have 10-20 apps per category, nothing more. Ridiculous for the price we pay.

Misleading pricing and deceptive checkout process - Very disappointedI wanted to sign up for Mobbin's monthly plan for 15 Euros. However, the experience I had during the payment process was truly disappointing.Initially, I thought I would be paying 15 Euros for a single month subscription. But when I completed the payment, I saw that 45 Euros had been charged to my account. Apparently, they suggested a 3-month plan during checkout, and because the screen was dark and I was tired at that moment, I accidentally approved it without noticing.I immediately tried to cancel, but unfortunately, I couldn't complete the cancellation process. The system is either not clear enough, or the cancellation process seems to be intentionally made difficult. As a result, I was forced into a 3-month subscription that I didn't want.Before even being able to evaluate Mobbin's quality as a service, seeing such a non-transparent approach towards users is really upsetting. Payment screens should be much clearer, the amount being charged should be explicitly stated, and the cancellation process needs to be easily accessible.These kinds of experiences seriously damage user trust. I hope Mobbin makes the necessary changes on this matter so other potential users don't experience the same situation.My advice: Before subscribing, carefully review the checkout screen and make absolutely sure which plan you're paying for.

It's the only app of this sort that I use, so I have no comparison, but I have to say I am really enjoying it! I am on mobbin at least 2 times per week. I enjoy clicking the button and copying it into my figma inspo file, the complex search (searching through keywords).
Also, the website's nice to look at!

I highly recommend Mobbin! It's such a game changer for me as it saves me so much time figuring out user flows as part of my research before starting a new project.

Also, shout out to Sabrina from customer service who was very helpful answering a few questions I had.
