Customer service are awful!

Customer service are awful! Therapists are not great either. My therapist asked me to book my appointment in a few months and I did as was requested, and minder charged me and said it’s run out. They are a robbing company. Like I said the therapist are very low quality. Save your money and go elsewhere.

In response to the reply- I have been speaking to CS who were rude, unhelpful and very condescending.

I am truly grateful for my experience

I am truly grateful for the support and guidance Marina has provided me. She has been instrumental in helping me process my past memories and experiences, and in identifying my social anxiety behaviours. Thanks to her, I now have a much deeper understanding for my anxiety and how it affects my daily life.

Marina's compassionate and insightful approach has allowed me to let my walls down and take the pressure off myself in social situations. I feel more at ease and able to enjoy interactions with others, something I struggled with before. Her expertise and dedication have truly made a significant impact on my well-being.

I highly recommend Marina to anyone seeking help with anxiety. She is a remarkable professional who genuinely cares about your progress and happiness.

This is not the right place where to find the support you need. They will make you feel even worse about you than you already are.
I had a very bad experience with an unprofessional therapist (she was criticising what I had done with my previous one) and made very strong and wrong assumptions about me, based on no evidence after only 2 sessions. I won’t disclose all the details here, but she missed the ABC of her discipline, especially in how to deal with patients who are in a fragile position.
I was in a very bad state for days after the last session and luckily I have a strong character, but what if someone else was in my situation?
An investigation was opened but it was a joke. The outcome was just ridiculous and I felt offended.
I was expecting her to be fired because the way how she dealt with my case was just unethical, unprofessional and unpleasant.
So people, if you need mental health support, go somewhere else. This is not the place for you!

As I am sure you can appreciate, we fully respect your privacy and would not look to address your complaint in a public forum but I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the outcome of the complaint.

We have a robust and thorough complaints process and would always encourage clients to use the escalation process in place which is to contact HCPC where all our Clinical and Counselling Psychologists are registered if they are not happy with the outcome or any aspect of the complaints process if it is in relation to a psychologist.

I wish I had seen these reviews before…

I wish I had seen these reviews before signing up.

The therapists just chat to you about how your day has been and don't offer any clinical benefit or even attempt to delve into the causes of thoughts or feelings. It's abysmal, I often left sessions thinking "that was 50mins wasted".

This is assuming of course that you've managed to log into the diabolical app....9 times out of 10 it won't log you in or even keep you signed in.

The one thing that works at Mindler is their system for invoicing...they'll send you invoices and overdue reminders with no issue! But they'll never get a respond to email to their contact email address.

Seriously, if you value mental health, avoid this company like the plague.

We absolutely want all our clients to feel like they are getting the most out of their therapy sessions and seeing real value in the work they are putting in. Our psychologists will provide a space for clients to work through their thought processes and feelings and look at what you are hoping to achieve from attending therapy sessions. I am sorry you felt your sessions didn’t offer any clinical benefit. With regards to the app, there was a known issue where the “Please keep me logged in” functionality was not working for some time. I am happy to report that this is now fixed and if users tick this box they will indeed remain logged in for the next time they wish to access the app. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience, as I appreciate it can be tiresome having to enter your login credentials every time you want to go into the app.

Invoices are sent via our payment merchant and automatically update once payment is received. Customer Service at Mindler can be contacted via the app or email customerservice@mindler.co.uk and all messages and emails are responded to within our SLA of 24 hours, but typically our average reply time is less than one hour. Non-existant customer service

The app appears to be professional, but the customer service is appalling. There is no way to contact with their admin via phone. Sent an email a week ago but no reply. I cannot do business with a company I cannot communicate with.

Avoid like the plague

I have access to Mindler through my company’s insurance which promised a few free sessions.

Wish I would have read the reviews here regarding the technical issue; the app signed me out and would not complete a password reset, typing in your email nothing is sent… but the email is clearly correct as I have just received a £90 invoice for missing a session, because I couldn’t sign in ??!!!

I have proof of contacting support via email and also attempted via their online help form and have tried password resets for over a week. I only wanted to access therapy through my company as promised but this is a joke. I am still waiting to hear back from support.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Firstly, if I may address the password reset process. When a client registers with Mindler UK, their mobile number is verified so that they can receive the code via SMS to log into the app. Separate from that, the client needs to verify their email address which can be done directly by following the pop up in the app when requested or manually by contacting the Customer Service team to action. The password reset link is only sent once the email address has been verified.

When a client accesses therapy sessions via their employer, they are approved to have a number of sessions which are subject to their policy terms. We can only invoice the insurance company for completed sessions the client attends and if the client has an excess on their policy then they will be liable to pay that amount in contribution to their claim. If a client misses a session, cancels within 24 hours or does not complete a session then they may be liable to pay the session fee.

Our policies are made clear during the registration process when you validate your policy, as well as during the booking process and in the booking confirmation email once you have added insurance as your payment method. They are also available in the FAQs and Terms in the app. We strongly recommend that any clients who are accessing a service provider such as Mindler using their insurance link in with the insurance company or HR to verify what the policy terms are any any liability they may have in terms of paying in contribution to their claim, as well as the policies of the service provider themselves to help avoid any misunderstanding, as I completely appreciate that it is important to be fully aware of liabilities when making a claim.

Our Customer Service can be contacted via the app or email customerservice@mindler.co.uk with the response time of 24 hours, as standard but our usual reply is typically within one hour if the contact is made during business hours. If emails are sent to other markets that Mindler operates in such as Sweden then it may take a little longer, as the ticket will need to be transferred over to the right team.

All of these bad reviews are accurate

All of these bad reviews are accurate. I have had non stop trouble connecting my health insurance account with the app, which I thought was a fault of my health insurance provider. I still went ahead and booked and paid for my own session and made plans to be available for it (including missing work). Only to have the session cancelled less than 2 hours before the start time by the therapist “due to a change in their availability” (what kind of an excuse is that?!) without even a hint of an apology!

Clearly the therapists fill up empty spaces in their diaries with Mindler and prioritise their own direct patients over the Mindler app.

Surely a therapist should have to take some responsibility for their Mindler clients. Absolutely unacceptable level of care from both the therapist and the Mindler team.

When an insurance client registers with Mindler, they need to validate their policy by adding in their membership no and DOB and/or a one time passcode provided by the insurer to link their account. Their policy details are verified against information shared by the insurer and in order to be accepted the policy must be shown as active and approved to access talking therapy sessions.

Sometimes the insurer won’t allow the client to validate their policy directly and will put a note on their account to prompt the client to contact them to discuss their claim, for example so I am sorry to hear you had issues in validating your policy details in the first instance.

I am sorry to hear your initial session was cancelled just two hours before your session was to begin. Our psychologists manage their own schedules and if an ongoing client cancels their session then this can free up a slot that any client can book in, so although it may have accepted your booking at the time, when the therapist has looked at their upcoming sessions and seen that a “new” client has booked in then they may look to cancel the session if they do not have capacity to accept new clients.

I completely understand how disappointing this is especially when it is at such short notice. We are working with psychologists and our product team to look at better ways to manage capacity planning when it comes to client lists to ensure that this type of situation is avoided.

Keep away from it

Keep away from it , worst tech platform with login issues. Neither the customer care or tech teams have an idea what's going on with their app.
Suddenly your login won't work and you could not take the session.

They won't even allow sharing notes with your therapist, they want you to share with customer service. They do not understand the concept of "confidentiality"

They are here to add more stress in your life

Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback around your experience with the app.

I am very sorry to hear that you experienced issues accessing your account. We completely appreciate and understand how frustrating it can be when technical stuff gets in the way especially when you are logging into a session. Typically when there is a tech issue, the therapist will look to troubleshoot if the client is in session but if it is outside of a session then the Customer Service team will offer the first line of tech support, as standard.

The CS Team will also provide some tips to help clients get the best connection for their session and ensure they are using the latest version of the app, for example. And we also offer tech calls, as you know to go through the set up so if it does need to be transferred to the Product Team then they are aware of where we are up to.

With regards to sharing notes with your therapist, there is no direct message functionality between clients and therapists in line with our internal compliance policy. If a client has confidential notes to share with their therapist, then we look to send via our secure mailbox and you can reply with an attachment which you can send password protected. The attachments are not opened by Customer Service, but are sent to your therapist directly.

I am very sorry that there is no more direct communication than this available at the moment, but rest assured that all our clinical and operational teams treat all information with confidentiality in mind at all times.

Oplichters

Dit zijn oplichters eerste klas, eerst maken ze afspraken met je dat alles is geregeld is met de zorgverzekeraar, en dan krijg je opeens een rekening van 600 euro in de brievenbus voor 2 uurtjes, en ze zeggen van tevoren al dat ze je niet kunnen helpen maar brengen wel de volle kosten in rekenig
