As a first time buyer, I cannot fault Miles & Barr one bit. From point of viewing, all the way through to exchange I have felt supported, listened to, understood and well taken care of! For context, I have had a very difficult sale, that’s been going on for over 14 weeks that has caused blood/sweat/tears and sleepless nights! I was assigned Debbie Thwaites to my case and I have to say without her - I wouldn’t have got through it! Not only did she provide professional guidance & advice, she was emotionally supportive which was above all, the most important part to me. She listened when I needed to rant, she bigged me up when I needed a boost, she laughed when I needed cheering up, and was a shoulder to cry on! Debbie needs true recognition for her dedication to the role. Alongside this, I also had James Cussen step into the case and I couldn’t fault him either, he was extremely helpful, offering some really helpful guidance where suitable, very communicative, supportive, understanding and overall great. Honestly, without these 2 people I would’ve given up months ago. In addition to this, whenever I rung the Ashford office, I always had friendly voices answer the phone, which really helped & made a difference!! Miles & Barr really do care. I stand by that and will definitely coming back if I need to sell in the future!

Rebecca very diligent and supportive, better contact on actual day would have been helpful.
The stars are for the personal contact, initial office personnel, keeping us informed especially Rebecca. The lost star is for the confusion at the end of the process. We were to the wire with our seller’s agent constantly giving us updates. When I rang Miles and Barr we were told the money was with the solicitor, we then rang the solicitor to be told no, it was 4: 45pm before we got the keys. Very stressful. Hiccups along the way not of your making.

Miles and Barr were great in finding us a buyer so soon after a previous sale fell through twice!
Miles and Barr were great in finding us a buyer so soon after we put our flat on the market, even after we had previous buyers fall through and the disappointment that comes with that.
The process was great overall and the employees were always on hand to help.
Louise Daly was particularly helpful managing the sale process for us once a buyer had been confirmed. She was always available to call and discuss every update along the way which is invaluable in the situation of buying and selling a property.
Her knowledge, professionalism and overall approach was very much appreciated.

DATA BREACH & INCORRECT INFO
I keep being contacted in relation to a property I have not been on the tenancy agreement for since Nov 2023. Despite being told it was an error on previous occasions and records would be updated...the last communications (after I responded to an email) advised I was still on said tenancy and it would be looked into. I forwarded proof of my release from the tenany and have been advised ''we'll look to get you removed'' this has been over a week and communications have been lacking and I am completely in limbo with what's going on. This is also a blatant GDPR breach.
Since leaving this review, the matter has now been rectified promptly following a formal complaint. I would particularly like to thank Jeanette, who could not have been more helpful, understanding, and professional once the complaint was received. I very much appreciate the speed with which the issue was ultimately resolved. However, I did experience over a week of unnecessary stress and uncertainty beforehand due to poor communication and unclear information being provided throughout the process.

Miles and Barr (Deal) made my selling and buying a stress free experience. Everything went smoothly from start to finish with the invaluable help of Emily Strickler. From the day she introduced herself to the day of completion, Emily kept me informed of everything that was going on with regular phone calls. She answered any questions that I didn't understand. Thank you, also, to Luke that showed me around other properties and accompanied me to my final house on a couple of occasions.
