In addition to physiotherapy and rehabilitation we are able to offer diagnostic ultrasound scanning, allowing ease of access to investigations not possible within the NHS. Utilising diagnostic ultrasound in conjunction with physiotherapy ensures confirmation of the diagnosis and the extent of your injury, all in front of your eyes in real time in-clinic. We also offer a variety of premium services including Radial Shockwave Therapy, specialist acupuncture such as IMS, headache and migraine treatment and exercise-based physiotherapy in our very own rehabilitation gym. We offer treatment for all musculoskeletal conditions. Spinal conditions including: neck and back pain, sciatica, headache, migraine and vertigo. Joint and soft tissue conditions including: sports injuries such as joint sprains and muscle strains, tennis and golfer’s elbow, frozen shoulder and plantar fasciitis. Post-operative rehabilitation including knee and hip replacement, ligament reconstruction. Other specialist services such as: pelvic health physiotherapy including pre-and post-pregnancy and Mummy MOT and clinical bike fitting.

Harriet is honestly such an amazing physiotherapist not only in her job but she is soo kind and easy to talk to. I looked forward to each of my sessions. She really helped with my recovery process and i will definitely request her if i need physio again!!

Fantatsic treament & service
When we moved into the area I had an injury and tore my meniscus and was treated by Harriet both prior to corrective surgery and post surgery for rehabilitation. Harriet was fantastic and made a huge difference to my recovery, I would go as far as saying my knee is now stronger than before my accident. Harriet is kind, considerate, very thorough and a just a lovely person to be treated by. I would highly recommend both Harriet and the team at Varney.

Brilliant physio
Brilliant physio, Harriet is great in puckeridge and so convenient as I live in the village, the rest of the team are also brilliant as have been to the Harlow site a few times when puckeridge was fully booked.

I have been seeing Harriet for help to strengthen my knees whilst I am waiting for a knee replacement. She is supportive and explains everything to me in a way that no other health care worker has. She has helped me stave off the inevitable operation and has helped me stay mobile. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Great Service
I have been receiving treatment from Aimee for a variety of issues and always found her very professional, knowledgeable and providing treatments that really have helped. She recommended Rachal for some therapeutic massage treatment which has been equally helpful. Both girls are also very personable and caring.

Aimee Physiotherapist
I have been having physiotherapy sessions with Aimee after I was hit by a reversing car which resulted in my dominant arm being very badly injured. Aimee is very professional, knowledgeable and confident. She is always cheerful and friendly. She has supported me both physically and mentally which has helped me to cope through this dark period of my life. Nothing is too much trouble. Each week she tailors my exercises as I progress and motivates me at each and every stage. I will always be indebted to Aimee. I have recommended her to all my friends. Thank you Aimee.

I have been treated by Aimee for a frozen shoulder and back problems. I have always felt reassured and relaxed. Aimee is extremely professional and I have had excellent results . I highly recommend Aimee for your physio needs.

recent Physio visit
I was able to get an appointment very quickly. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful offering several appointments.
When I attended I was called in on my appointment time.
Sam was very gentle as I had a lot of pain. He worked around what I was able to do and explained everything before he carried it out.
I had 4 appointments and by the last one I was back to where I was before I injured myself. He did not make more appointments than were necessary.
