UPDATE: After leaving this review and speaking with one of the managers, I am assured that the issues mentioned are being dealt with. Thank you to the manager, Peter, who came by to apologise in person.

Hands down the most unreliable delivery service I've ever experienced. First the driver showed up at my door and said that my order was on his device but not in the van. He promised me that it would be here that day or the next day. You would think a carpet and underlay is quite difficult to lose!

The next day, a different driver arrived with 1 out of my 5 packages and was very confused about where the other 4 were. What's more, he asked me at 6 months pregnant to help him carry the heavy carpet into the house... if the package is too heavy for one person to carry then why have you not got a two person delivery service assigned to it??

I phoned the office to find out where the rest of my order was and was told it had been split across 2 vans and the rest would definitely be with me that day. It was not. This was a Friday so I then had to wait over the weekend for the rest of my order to finally show up on Monday morning.

The whole time I was told that I would recieve a 2 hour delivery window on the morning of delivery which I did not. So I essentially had to sit in my house for 2 and a half days waiting for a delivery that may or may not show up. Every driver that arrived just blamed the previous driver, stating "oh yeah, he's a bit useless, not sure what he was doing". Would not buy from a company that uses this service again.

Great delivery company! Deliverd my parcel before expected, I was given upto date tracking and a 2 hour delivery slot which the parcel was delivered within. I also left a not for Driver to leave in my safe place iv had difficulty with a couple of other companies leaving my parcel but M&H done exactly as I asked. Great service.

Used M&H Carriers a couple times now all over the UK for my business deliveries to customers via pallet. Quotes are always quick, both customers delighted with the communication and drivers! A price that works for my business and a service that I can depend on has massively assisted us! Thank you.

Just moved to Moray and M&H are the carriers other big companies use for the last leg of delivery.

Had a furniture order being delivered by DHL and had to reschedule through M&H. Simple call to real people and job done. There delivery guys even waited at our address as I was late back from appointment.

Their team were great to deal with and driver went over and above, delivering with great service.

Not had this company deliver anything but today in Crail one of their vans hurled through the estate well in excess of the speed limit - there are children and pets here. Disgraceful.

Horrible. Esp Mark who keeps delivering in my area. Sick of this company and need to know in advance if I’m stuck with them as a carrier-bc I won’t order now if they’re used. But this one delivery driver is esp problematic over the years-most lethargic person walking upright in a role I’ve ever seen

So much better than the other courier service used in the highlands ..keep you up to date about your parcels progress .really friendly customer service team and brilliant courier..definitely a 5 star job

Ok so further update numerous calls and differing stories on my consignment as below
1. Just arrived in Monday AM will be with you tomorrow
2. Trying to locate the large package will be with you tomorrow- Tuesday
3. Still awaiting package arrival it never arrived yet, then changed to “we are searching warehouse for them”… Asked to speak to depot manager and it was oh none are here they are searching depot… feel sorry for persons answering calls as management must instruct them to lie lie lie and then lie more… managers won’t call themselves as too embarrassed to admit they are a shambles of a delivery courier company avoid at all costs this company

My order supposed to be delivered on 23rd of April. Tracking system isn't helpful at all. Shows from 18th of April it was scanned in Inverness depot, when I called them they said not sure why was send to them and their redirect it to Aberdeen depot as it is their zone. Contacted Aberdeen depot unpleasant and not helpful man just said they don't have it and don't know where it is and brushed me of to contact seller. New update showed up on tracking (POD exempt and POD cleared) no parcel delivered and don't know where it is. It's big and heavy item is not like you can easily misplace it. Probably one of the worse delivery company I have to deal with. No communication between depots, delivering to wrong depot at first place. Not knowing where the parcel is or who exactly have it.

So easy to organise collection and delivery snd they did everything i asked for at a very competitive rate, can't thank Nicola enough in customer services

They have had my delivery for over a week . Tried to contact them three times . Would phone me back but they did not . Assured me delivery would be Friday . Phoned again and am told next week now .

Ordered a hotpoint dishwasher from very that came from hotpoint direct and then was passed on to these cowboys to deliver to myself. Phoned on thursday 27th march and was told the dishwasher was at the local warehouse 37 miles away but there was a driver off sick so wouldn't be able to deliver as its a 2 man lift. Asked could i go collect myself and was basically told no it would be delivered Tuesday 1st april. Phoned again this morning and was told my dishwasher was on the wagon and would get a call about delivery, got the call, happy days then when they were about to drop off got another call to say it was actually a cooker and not a dishwasher so there has been a mix up somewhere. Phoned hotpoint and they assure me it was definitely a dishwasher dispatched. Got another call back from the driver to say my dishwasher was actually in the inverness branch and not the local depot. Phoned the inverness branch back again and was told it would now be delivered friday, absolute joke when this was none of my fault. Said i would appreciate if something could be done to get this delivered Wednesday 2nd april, woman was going to make a few calls to arrange then get back to me. Never heard anything so phoned back again at 1653 and the girl went home and no one else in the office has a clue about my messed up order. So now a lottery if it will arrive tomorrow, Friday, never?

Absolute shambles. Ordered this nearly 3 weeks ago.

Delivered my suite. I was informed that it would be delivered set up and they would ensure that it was working (electric recliners) I was also told I would be contacted 34 hours before delivery. Was called 30 MINUTES before delivery. They arrived dumped my sofa ( 4 seperate parts) and promptly left. I did ask if they were going to build it but they just laughed and said no we are just to deliver. On contacting the company I was told that no they were to build the sofa and ensure all was correct.
Now left with no access to sitting room or dining room as the sofas are blocking both. I am nearly 70 years old with dodgy hip and no family nearby. Brilliant service...NOT.

The company attempted to deliver a parcel to me but I was out so they left a card. They tried a second time no joy left a card. I phoned them asked them to drop it at my work which is a local police station but they refused. I advised them I was not going to be in at the times required and gave a few times I'd be in. Being a local police officer our time is restricted, she said that if delivered a third time they would send it back that was days ago no further card and no option to sort it. So I can only assume that they sent it back. The item was expensive so was the postage. POOR POOR POOR

Terrible service quality. Delivering a £5 light bulb. Wouldn't leave it at the property. Wouldn't allow for arranging redelivery after failed delivery. As advertised I attempt to arrange redelivery on the website after the first miss and I got a message 'not eligible'. Service desk unhelpful 'computer says no' 'not us we just deliver on APCs behalf' and no we will not do another delivery. Need to do better.

Customer service helpful and friendly & new driver helpful polite and friendly. A breath of fresh air. Long may this service continue.. Goods arrived in a nice new van and came off the van clean.. a fantastic change from the old vans and previous driver.
Update; Drivers go above and beyond M&H wow !! What a difference 👏 superb couriers! DX need to take a leaf out of your book for customer service for sure 10/10 thank you.

Worst experience ever. Delivery driver was rude, hostile and dumped my one ton of coal and fired wood (£600) at the end of a ln access road and literally wouldn’t deliver to the usual previous delivery spots in my garage about 500m away. Photos attached. The driver Ian W was a disgrace. Have complained to the company and the MD Fraser Maclean sent me a trite patronising response. No reactivation, no apology for the driver’s behaviour which was disgraceful, nor offer to move the coal to the proper location at my garage. They are hiding behind the false excuse of the snow last week. My access road is hard packed gravel and absolutely no snow ice or mud and I asked the driver to even walk it with me to prove it. He refused. He dumped it at the public road and drove off in a furious mood, having first dropped the load all over the road. He was utterly irate. Even the MD is hiding behind the reason of previous Lorries getting stuck elsewhere - not my problem and even a fool could see my access road is perfectly useable. You’ve been warned - don’t use this company especially if based on Skye. They truly don’t care. Please head over to the Google review I posted of my honest experience with photos attached to which the MD has replied slandering me as a ‘bully’ publicly for seeing to share my genuine experience. Not a company to use! His private emails are even worse - patronising and chauvinistic and writing me off as an ‘emotive’ woman. Ladies - avoid this lot like the plague!

Parcel delayed by a week blaming it on half inch of snow in Scotland!!!
Half an inch of snow in Scotland CANNOT be classified as extreme weather!!!
I was willing to let it go and asked them to call me 20 mins before they attempt delivery to make sure I am home. They said that is a fair ask considering the delay from their side.

Guess what, the driver arrived did not find me -surprise- and left no call whatsoever.

Dragged myself to their depot to collect, sorry we can’t find it as our system is down. You have to wait till Monday!!!

The worse courier I have ever dealt with. They are slow rude and unhelpful. I will actively avoid companies who use this courier.

Avoid like the plague.
Parcel arrived in their office 1320 on Friday and they can't get it to me 30 miles south until Monday or Tuesday.
No apology or reason from receptionist on phone.
