Paid for the promises, still waiting for the product
I feel completely let down by MeshMastery and, honestly, I feel that I have not received what I paid for.
The last course I purchased was AI Director, which was sold as a pre-launch product and paid for upfront. It has now been few weeks since the course was opened, yet only a very small number of lessons are available, many of them just a few minutes long. The creator repeatedly announces deadlines for releasing new lessons, but these deadlines keep passing without the promised content being published.
This is particularly frustrating because customers paid in advance based on the promises made at launch.
The situation is unfortunately not limited to AI Director. The previous AI course, focused on creating animations from static renders using AI, was also sold with the promise of regular updates. However, it appears to have been abandoned for around six months. It contains very little content, much of which is now outdated, and, even more frustratingly, some content that was originally included has subsequently been removed and offered for sale separately — for example, the prompt list.
Overall, both AI courses feel extremely limited in content and seem to have been put together very quickly, with insufficient attention to quality, completeness and long-term maintenance.
What disappoints me most is the lack of consideration for the customers who have already paid. On one side, new lessons are repeatedly promised but not delivered; on the other, existing courses are left without meaningful updates while previously available material is removed or repackaged.
After this experience, my impression is one of poor professionalism and a lack of respect towards paying customers.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Mesh Mastery’s AI courses to anyone. I would strongly advise potential customers to carefully consider whether the current level of content and support justifies the price before purchasing.
Antwort von 3D Modeling Masterclass - MeshMastery
Hi Mark,
First of all, I’m genuinely sorry that your experience with our AI courses has left you feeling disappointed. I understand it can be frustrating to purchase a course in advance (to take advantage of the launch sale) and then wait longer than expected for new lessons.
I should clarify that this review is NOT about the 3D Modeling Masterclass, but about the AI Director course we also offer.
Nevertheless, I want to respond directly to the concerns you raised:
Some AI Director lessons have been released later than the dates we initially announced - as you correctly mention. AI tools and models evolve incredibly quickly, and occasionally we need additional time to test workflows & tools properly before publishing it. That does not excuse missed deadlines, and we should communicate delays more clearly.
However, we would rather take a little longer than release material that has not been properly tested or does not provide genuine value.
I must respectfully disagree, however, with the suggestion that we do not respect our paying customers:
Supporting our students is extremely important to us. This is why we offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee and, when there is a legitimate concern, we have honored refund requests beyond that period as well.
If you feel that AI Director has not delivered what you expected, please email us at info@meshmastery.com. I will personally review your case and arrange a refund if that is what you prefer.
If you choose to remain enrolled, new AI Director lessons are being uploaded tomorrow, with further content continuing to follow. Either way, thank you for sharing your concerns.
