We first booked our villa in Menorca before Covid . We made it this year ! Sarah kept us informed throughout and our welcome pack was lovely as was the villa . It was as described , very clean and well kept. Everything worked and we had a great time . Thank you .
Have been using for eight years, always helpful if there has been a problem (of which there have been few) and their team in Menorca are fantastic
Firstly the site was valid, my accommodation was real. We stayed in Ses Cassettes 4 in Arenal de castele.
The apartment was horrendous. It was filthy and they even tried to save a couple of euros by not making beds in a third bedroom; we paid for a three bedroom apartment. The pool had a constant yellow tinge to it that stuck to floats and toys used in it. The pool cleaners liked to urinate near the bottom end of the pool. The sewers overflowed right under our bedroom window with raw sewage being left for 2 days till it was sorted. The company, ran by Dawn Chaplin were unsympathetic and did nothing to help other than sending in the same cleaners that had done such a bad job originally. I spent a fortune on cleaning products to make it hygienic for my 2 year old and pregnant wife. Finally we spent our second week staying out of the apartment to avoid estate agents coming and going.
I can't recommend this company at all. If you want a nice holiday stick to travel agents or direct with local aparyments/hotels.
Not related to the company but the resort is pretty bad as well, a mission to get buggies to the beach and limited to 2 reasonable restaurants.

Hi Sarah,
I appreciate you may now have bought this company and things may have improved, as I have not and will not use the company again I couldnt comment on that. We travelled in June and all the bars were open. Being use to Majorca, Peurto Pollensa the volume of places to eat and drink was very low and getting to and from the beach with a buggy and all the paraphernalia you require for toddlers/babies was horrendous!! However, you are in no way responsible for the resort.

My name is Sarah Davies and I purchased Menorca Villa holidays in November 2017. This review was obviously meant for the mentioned previous owner Dawn Chaplin. I was devastated to read this today which was brought to my attention by a client booking a holiday with me who has since reading it cancelled their booking. I am very sorry that your experience of Menorca Villa Holidays was not a good one. All of the properties on the website have a professional management company on call 24/7 to deal with any incidents or problems as soon as possible. I have been based in Menorca for over 20 years and have visited all of the resorts myself many times. On the complex in question, Ses Casetas, i have three properties available for rental. All of these have recently been purchased by new private owners, hence your comment about the estate agents as they were obviously still on the market. I can only also apologize for this on behalf of Menorca Villa Holidays. All three have now been renovated and have new furnishings in and out and washing machine and air conditioning installed.
I am presuming you visited in the early season (perhaps April) for two reasons, firstly yes many of the bars and restaurants do not open until May, but they are plentiful from then on. Secondly there are a large amount of pine trees in the area and in the spring they shed their pollen and it leaves a thick layer of yellow dust everywhere, even on the surface of the water. It settles until the red rain comes from the Sahara and washes it all away, the joys of living in the Mediterranean! Arenal has one of the biggest most beautiful horse shoe shaped beaches which does indeed have a fairly steep access by steps or a slightly longer walk down the ramps. This gives most of Arenal spectacular views of the bay and out to sea. Sand is not the best surface for buggy wheels but the wooden decked walk way which runs the full length along the back of the beach certainly helps.
Once again my sincere apologies to you and your family for what was obviously not a good experience of Menorca Villa Holidays. I can only hope that anyone reading your review in the future will take on board my comments and realize we are a trust worthy, transparent company that only wishes all of our customers have a very happy enjoyable holiday experience with us in Menorca.
