After seeing a glut of bad reviews I decided to post my experience. I love Melt! In a world of sickly sweet, nasty chocolates, it's reassuring to know that you can buy a block of Melt dark, milk or (mmm!) salted caramel and it will taste divine. I'm a fussy chocolate eater and there are very few brands I like. Melt is right at the top of the list. I can't comment on customer service or short use by dates because I just buy the wonderful bars every few weeks and then eat them, blissfully. Just keep doing what you're doing!

First time I have had to spit a chocolate out. I love really good, dark chocolate, and raspberries but whether it was too much salt or something else it was very unpleasant. Very fancy gold dust etc on the chocs and quality box, hence 2 stars - shame about the contents.

Am a regular customer at the Notting Hill store and love the delicious hot chocolate - however, service can be hit or miss depending on who is behind the counter.

Clearly stated on the website that emails will be responded to within 24 hours - I sent an email a week ago and still no response which is frustrating

I bought 5 bars of the Christmas chocolate at £10 for a 90 grm bar .For the price it wasn’t that special.3 of us shared a bar and none of us were that impressed,I don’t know what I was expecting but this wasn’t it.3 stars for the chocolate but not value for money.

Extremely disappointed. Have been trying to contact them for over a week. Delivery says 1-2 days, should have arrived before Christmas and still hasn't arrived. It's going back to them for I don't know what reason since the lady receiving the pack is over 80 and always at home. Crap service.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed to discover that the chocolates are all short dated, with use-by dates very close. As this was a gift, this is particularly concerning, as it would be reasonable to expect a suitable shelf life for a product given as a present. Some go out of date in 2 days, others in 2 weeks !

I placed an order for a Melt Log cabin advent calendar on the 25th September. When I got back off holiday on the 5th December the advent calendar hadn't been delivered and got in touch with customer service over the weekend to enquire its whereabouts. Apparantly, the order had been sent but no trace in the tracking number. I never got an email confirmation from the courier, so I don't believe them. The order got missed and they are embarrassed to say so. How can a company presuming to be world class Chocolatiers not have a system that is able to see that all order have been fulfilled and delivered, is beyond me. So unprofessional with an indifferent customer services response . What makes matters worser this is the second order in succession that I have had an issue with. Come on Melt get your act together. Very very disappointed customer and no advent calendar to give my wife, which makes me look I don't care!!!!

I am actually quite upset about the issue I had with Melt today and the dismissive attitude of the CS person.

I bought a “vegan” gift for a dear friend who has been strictly vegan since birth. The packaging, now I’ve received the product, very clearly states that milk/milk powder is an ingredient.

The response I received was that “oh that’s just standard packaging but don’t worry it will be vegan inside”. They simply refused to listen to my point that I cannot give this to my friend on this basis: she wouldn’t go near it.

I want a refund and Melt tell me that is not possible as there is “nothing wrong” with the product.

Be very careful.

I ordered a log cabin advent calendar as a present for my sister, unfortunately half the chocolates were missing. Melt chocolates were really great though and quick to send us out another calendar free of charge! Chocolates were fantastic (especially the roasted green tea one, which I would like to see a full bar of) and the presentation was beautiful. All in all, a positive experience and a great birthday present!

Very lovely chocolate& different taste

A great spot for a coffee and chocolate treat near Holland Park. They sell delicious artisanal chocolates, including by-the-piece, with tasty hot-drink accompaniments -- especially ideal when opting to sit-in; while their service is helpful and friendly. Have visited before, and will certainly do so again. A strong recommendation when in the area!

I organised a special dinner for a group of friends and included a selection of fruit filled chocolate bars from Melt as a surprise and asked them to select their favourite. Great discussion followed and I have never seen my friends so enthusiastic or excited. The fruit filled bars are stylishly packaged, great selection of fruit filling and quite the best chocolate my friends and I have tried. Put your order in now because they don’t hang around!

Melt sent the wrong box of chocolates but promised to replace them with delivery the following day. However, nothing happened and they have not responded to several emails. I am still out of pocket on this transaction.

As a chocolate lover I love this place.
I went to buy a gift for a colleague and I had a wonderful service, the lady helped me to find the best option and I purchased a super cute metallic box full of chocolate from several options that she offered me. She informed about the events that they organise and hopefully I can join one soon 😊🍫

Best chocolate ever. The taste is delicious. The packages of the products are great. There's a huge variety of the products and always something seasonal. Staff are always super nice and helpful and of course don't forget about the Chef who makes those delicious bites.

I’ve been in contact with Andrea who has been truly exceptional. I contacted her all the way from Saudi Arabia to arrange a chocolate making class for my sister in celebration for her birthday. Andrea has been extremely helpful and efficient, truly making the booking experience very smooth and ENJOYABLE despite being a thousand miles away from the UK!! Thank you is the least I could say. Andrea was also very thoughtful at making the chocolate making workshop customized to my sister and has arranged for a personalized chocolate slab with a message for my sister. Talk about real customer service and a true customer experience ❤️ thank you!!!

Kunafeh cups on top I got it once and for 30 days straight I got it everything on the menu is so good I'm not a san Sebastian fan but there's on a norther level and they have good prices. And there tea norther level.😀😀😀

I ordered some Easter gifts from Melt and unfortunately, the first parcel never arrived. With Easter approaching and the box marked “Melt handmade chocolate,” we wondered if someone along the way might have helped themselves, as the delivery packaging does look tempting!

Thankfully, Melt’s customer service was outstanding. Andreea responded quickly, kindly arranged a replacement with express delivery, and made sure everything arrived just in time. The recipient was absolutely delighted.

I had a query about one of the items, and again, Andreea responded promptly and kindly explained the unique product design.

It’s rare to come across a company that treats its customers with such care, efficiency and genuine warmth. Despite the hiccup at the start, I ended up feeling incredibly valued as a customer. Thank you, Melt. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Just one small suggestion: while the outer branded packaging is beautiful, a more discreet box might help avoid any delivery mishaps in the future.
