I recently had the nicest experience at The Medic Clinic in Bedford, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From the moment I walked through the door, I was met with a warm, professional atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. Many thanks again.

Another great visit to this great clinic! I've attended many times over the last few years, and thrilled to have them as my 'local clinic'! Very good communications, all front of house staff very pleasant and efficient. And every doctor I've seen there has been superb. Caring, thorough, expert. Big thanks to everyone at the MedicClinic!

After being let down yet again by gp and nhs system . Dr swamy was brilliant .excellent bedside manner .could see how much pain i was in . Everyone at the clinic so helpful .

Exceptional service. No restraint on time and amazing care given from all staff. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone. I take my son and daughter here as well. Every time we have visited the Dr or had blood tests we have always received a professional and caring service. The vitamin infused drips helped me recover from being exceptionally poorly.

Polite staff, knowledgeable doctors and not overly expensive.

This is a review for the Medic Clinic in Bedford. I have used this service a few times this year for the family. This includes the GP service, scans, blood tests, including the Gynae clinic with a female doctor and a female chaperone. My mother had a scan for a check up on gallstones. Its been a life-line when the NHS has let me down.

This is how all GP surgeries should be! I cannot fault the treatment I have received at the Medic Clinic, including from Dr Khan and Dr Swamy. As with all the staff at the Clinic, they are caring, very professional and obviously take pride in their work. Everything runs very efficiently - when I first attended the Clinic, within an hour I had had an ultrasound scan, a report was written by the radiographer followed by a consultation with the doctor. Today I had a blood test and the results will be emailed to me tomorrow. All in all, exemplary service and care. Lovely, courteous staff, always with a welcoming smile and greeting.

I am writing to share my negative experience with The Medic Clinic and to post a review on your platform. I believe it is essential to inform other potential patients about the care and treatment I received at The Medic Clinic, which was both negligent and concerning.

On 27/12/2023, my son and I attended a consultation at The Medic Clinic regarding our skin issues. Dr. Kumarswamy prescribed Daktocort and Rozex creams for both of us, despite my son being a minor. This goes against common medical practices and raises serious concerns about the clinic's attention to proper care and safety protocols.

Within two days of using the prescribed creams, my face began to exhibit severe symptoms, including redness, pain, and itching. I immediately contacted Dr. Kumarswamy and shared pictures of the adverse reaction, hoping for guidance and assistance. Unfortunately, their response was to prescribe Flucloxacillin for both my son and me, which only exacerbated the situation.

The following day, I woke up with severe facial swelling, impairing my vision. Dr. Kumarswamy advised discontinuing the antibiotic and scheduled a follow-up appointment with another doctor. However, due to the severity of the symptoms, my son and I had to seek emergency medical care at the hospital instead.

At the hospital, my son was provided with alternative medication, while I was admitted for three days with a suspected case of cellulitis. I underwent treatment with IV hydrocortisone and chlorphenamine. The hospital's dermatology department reviewed my case and concluded that I had developed an allergic contact dermatitis. Their recommended treatment included avoiding facial application, oral Prednisolone, hydrocortisone cream, and a follow-up appointment in the dermatology outpatient department.

Not only did The Medic Clinic prescribe inappropriate medication for a minor, but they also failed to provide appropriate follow-up care and assessment. This lack of attention to detail and proper medical practices is deeply concerning and has caused significant physical and emotional distress for both me and my son.

As a result of this incident, I have been off work for six weeks, experiencing financial loss and additional stress. Furthermore, the cost of the private prescriptions and the consultation which amounted to £100, adds to the financial burden caused by The Medic Clinic's negligence.

I hope that by sharing my experience on Trustpilot, other potential patients will be made aware of the inadequate care and treatment provided by The Private Clinic. It is crucial for individuals to have access to reliable and responsible healthcare providers, and The Medic Clinic has failed to meet these basic expectations.

I urge others to reconsider their decision to seek treatment at The Medic Clinic and to thoroughly research and consider alternative options. It is essential to prioritize patient safety and well-being, which The Medic Clinic has demonstrated a lack of commitment towards.

Myself and my wife first found the Medic Clinic when Covid appeared on the planet - we had been trapped in Spain when it first broke out and needed testing when we returned to the UK. We are both very firm fans of private medical services and have lengthy experience of being a private patient and know the difference between the good and the bad from our frequent travels around the world.

The Medic Clinic was and is absolutely excellent - very professional and equally efficient - easy to communicate with and super fast high quality medical services - we have continued to use them for general medical issues and made many recommendations to family and friends - everyone is delighted and all say how wonderful it is to be able to see a Doctor without fuss or delay.
I cannot fault the staff or the service they provide in any way and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation - parking is easy close by as a bonus!

I am so grateful to have found the Medic Clinic, the staff are unfailingly polite and helpful, the atmosphere is warm, comforting and happy. Dr Swamy explains everything and I feel complete confidence in his care. In these days of complete collapse and the non-caring attitude of the NHS [I am a nurse of 40 years service] it is an enormous relief to relax and know that I have help and care from the Medic Clinic. Well done to all staff there, you are providing an urgently needed service, many thanks to you all.

My appointment with Nurse Practitioner Neide was excellent. I had botox to my forehead and the result is natural and exactly as I requested. She was friendly and professional. The clinical room was really clean and bright. Will definitely return for the outstanding service, competitive pricing and great environment.

I had a cyst removed from my back by Dr Lane. He was very professional and made me feel very comfortable and talked me through the process. Quick and painless and the price was very reasonable (half the price of other places which quoted around £800 to £1000 for the same procedure). I wouldn't hesitate to come back to the Medic Clinic again.

I cannot praise Dr. Swamy too highly. I think he is a genius. I have known some very fine doctors in my life, but he is outstanding. His friendliness, empathy, insight, wisdom, optimism, patience and expert knowledge of every detail I raised with him were amazing. Worth every £ of the fee. The reception staff are also very friendly

This is a cost effective medical centre, i have used a couple of times, and have found them very good, the doctor i saw ( Doctor Swarmi) was excellent, used with confidence, Mrs Burnage

Callum took my blood and was really lovely, professional and reassuring. He was quick and efficient and I didn’t feel any pain. The people at the reception were also very friendly and polite which also helps when you are having any kind of medical procedure done.

Dr. Swamy was very professional, kind and amicable as well. He made me feel so at ease. The results for my testing were returned extremely quickly as well. I am very impressed with the service at this wonderful clinic!
