I wanted to take the opportunity to thank McGimpsey Brothers Removals Ltd for their continued support to book my move (through multiple houses falling through) & to the crew for their work on my move day. The weather conditions were atrocious, it rained continuously all day & the 4 moving staff were considerate, hard working, professional & nothing was too much trouble!

I've moved a lot over the years including internationally twice with shipping containers & I've never had a better service. The staff team were excellent & I will only use this company moving forward because of them! I will also be recommending your company to friends & family.

I would particularly like to acknowledge how wet & cold it was during my move & the guys didn't once complain in fact they were pleasant & made a stressful day so much better!

I have moved many times over the years and I can absolutely say that I have never had a better crew. There is nothing at all negative to say about any of them. It was a very large move with 5 men. They were nothing but exceptional. Michael, Jack, Craig, Sam and James were amazing. I would recommend them to anyone. Ruth was very helpful and accommodating. She answered all our questions fully and promptly and worked hard to get us sorted in the end. All in all I have to say hats off to all involved. We will most definitely recommend you all again.

Very efficient and helpful team, all the packing went smoothly and shipping arrangements for an overseas move. The team were very well organised and also we felt they were very honest and trustworthy handling our things. The office staff were very responsive and helpful in answering any questions we had. My experience with McGimpsey Removals was excellent. From my very first enquiry, Paul Mills called me back with five minutes, explained the process and advised me to fill out a removal survey. I was provided with a quote ten minutes after I returned the survey and the price was very competitive. The job took place one week after first contacting Paul and was carried out with care and diligence. I would not hesitate to use or recommend McGimpsey Brothers in the future.

Exceptional service for my move to Ireland from the UK from start to finish. Quote was very clear and Paul my house move agent was very thorough and put my mind at ease. Dave and James who did the removal were exceptional. As a single woman, I was nervous but had nothing to worry about as they were friendly, worked fast and took care with everything. McGimpseys were exceptional from beginning to end. A huge relocation of our possessions including hundreds of books and artworks from southern England to Northern Ireland. Particular praise is due to Gary who led the teams on both departure and arrival. All the crew were brilliant. They worked very hard. I was relocating from Dublin to London after living in Dublin for some years. I had loads of personal belongings to move and as a disabled man, there were added headaches to the whole moving process. I was looking for a company that could help with the move and I research on shiply and a prominent door to door box and luggage shipping company but I had concerns about the latter because of their lack of empathy with my disability might affect the moving process. McGimpsey were extremely understanding and empathetic. The quote was for 398 pounds for 10 boxes 53cm x 53cm x 41cm. That was a reasonable price. When the removal guys turned up in London, they moved all ten boxes careful and even repackaged some boxes because I had done a bad job. All boxes were delivered to my address in London on the agreed date. They were very helpful, professional and put my mind at rest. The move consultant was always on hand to answer any question especially via email. A big thank you to Aussie Removals that recommended McGimpsey.

McGimpseys transported some furniture for me from Bangor to Sheffield and Cornwall. They had no problem with dividing the destinations. Communication from David was great, things were arranged swiftly, the deliveries went smoothly, my items were well looked after and all involved were professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a fair and competitive price. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again and highly recommend.

Really simple booking process, competitive price and clearly experienced. McGimpseys were a dream for start to finish. We were kept informed throughout and really appreciated the phone call from the delivery driver to make sure we were in and aware of his timings. Just a great personal experience.

I recently relocated from Belfast to the South of England and McGimpsey’s were the movers of choice for me.

They came and packaged everything up with care and consideration, from large framed pictures to golf clubs, they had packaging for it all.

The lads were on time, polite and clearly well versed in protecting the items for the journey ahead. The same can be said for the delivery on the other side.

Can’t fault them and have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends alike.
