Pat McDonnell Paints Bewertungen

My wife and I recently relocated from the US to County Kerry. We’ve been in the process of refreshing the home we purchased here. This includes several painting projects. We feel extremely fortunate to have found Pat McDonnell Paints in Tralee. The bright, roomy store is fully stocked with a wide selection of paints and painting supplies. Each person with whom we have interacted there has been very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. One individual in particular, though, warrants special mention. Jules McElligott is their Colour Consultant. While I’ve been in numerous paint stores previously, I’ve never encountered a colour consultant before. Now I can’t imagine selecting a paint colour without first consulting Jules. On one occasion, with just a vague description of what we were trying to do, Jules immediately pulled out a colour sample that was spot on. On another occasion, she suggested a colour shade different than the ones my wife and I had been considering. It, too, proved to be a perfect choice. As an artist, Jules has a deep, personal, and commanding knowledge of colours and their nuances that easily surpasses that of any commercial painter with whom we have worked in the past. On top of that, it’s just a pleasure to work with her. Even if you think you know what you want for your next painting project, I wholeheartedly recommend scheduling a consultation with Jules. Like us, I expect you’ll find her assistance invaluable.

As a DIYer renovating my own house, I wish I went there sooner. Great people, excellent advice and best range of products. If you have a painting job to do, just go there and you’ll figure everything out!

Ordered paint at 2.30 pm on Tuesday from Pat Mc Donnell paints and it was delivered at 11am following morning. Very competitive prices of high quality products.
Very friendly delivery man.

Great experience buying my Dulux pain here. The website and online ordering was incredibly quick, and I couldn't believe the price difference compared to Woodies and B&Q. It was delivered quickly to my home without any issues. 6 stars for convenience and value.

Ordered on Sat, delivered on Monday, excellent price. Will definitely shop there again

Ordered paint last night and it was delivered this morning. Can’t say fairer than that. Excellent service.

Great service, ordered and next day delivery. Delighted to be supporting local irish businesses.

Went into the store near the Marina and got such helpful advice! We recently bought our first home, and have a baby with a condition which can be exacerbated by strong smells. We were interested in low VOC paint and had our eyes on the Ralston range. Left with brilliant advice and even more brilliant paint. The store is heaven for paint buyers but also to get your creative thoughts flowing. The paint has gone on like a dream, will definitely go to Pat McDonnell paints everytime!

The ordering online is very straightforward, and the website is rather easy to navigate.
Collection is quick, staff very helpful.

Very fast delivery and excellent service. Paints are always good quality.

Perfect service and delivery!

Customer service is always top tier in Pat McDonnells from the drivers to the people working in the shop theyre always so pleasant and approachable. No such thing as a stupid question!
I've found the prices to be the most competitive as well it's great to be confident you're getting very good value without having to research every little piece

One of the few places left where the staff have time for their customers. You feel valued and they are more than willing to help you with any advice you need. They'll come out from behind the counter to help you if needed They're also way cheaper than Woodies

Very efficient service

I have ordered paint a number of times from Pat McDonnell Paints, paints are excellent quality, delivery is free and very quick, delivery drivers are friendly and helpful, I will continue to order any paint I need from here. Excellent service

Excellent company to deal with, ordered varnish on Thursday delivered on Friday best price and free delivery as well, what's not to love. Will use again.

Ordered wood stain Pat McDonnell. Delivery was prompt. Had to use my son's partners parents address as I'm not within delivery range. The paint was delivered at my son's house. Very happy

I usually buy my paint and supplies from Pat McDonnell Paints in Nutgrove Rathfarnham for the following reasons, it’s a one stop situation everything I need for the project is there and materials are competively priced.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly yet professional and go the extra mile. Anna is particularly helpful with colour selections, I think it a combination of a great eye for the colours and an obvious wealth of experience. I have returned after years looking for a colour to touch up rooms and from a mere photo she has managed to find my colour. It’s a talent.

Great service, thank you.
