What a fantastic company!
What a fantastic company! Exceptional customer service from start to finish. I was needing my summer house quickly for a Christmas event and they made this happen! The quality of the summer house couldn't be better, from the amazing wood quality to the ease of putting it up. It takes around 40 minutes from flat packed! Don't hesitate to buy from MCD Garden Sheds, they couldn't have been more kind and helpful and I will recommend to anyone wanting to buy a shed in the future! Thanks again!

Summer house

A very satisfied customer
I recently had a chalet shed built and erected by MCD. Martin had it made to a slightly unusual size, and was very helpful. The building is high quality and very robust. I particularly commend the men on site who did the installation. The plot and positioning of the shed presented a few challenges; but Scott and Adam were upbeat and professional, doing the job efficiently with no mess or fuss. They also took time to advise me on care and maintenance. I would fully recommend MCD.

Great quality summer house
Very professional and helpful from the start, the summer house is great quality and the lads that put it up were full of advice, two windows had slight scratches on them but they came back at the first opportunity and replaced them, many thanks mcd.

We bought a shed from them a few years…
We bought a shed from them a few years ago and after moving house we then needed another shed, the build quality will make sure it lasts far longer than other sheds from other suppliers. The company is very professional in how they operate such as updating me on a fitting date. The fitting team have been excellent on this shed and our previous shed. Would always recommend MCD without hesitation.

Brilliant
Seriously, I have nothing but praise in my dealing with MCD for my new garden shed. From start to finish it has been so easy. They took my needs seriously and gave me everything I asked for. The shed itself is a stunner ( certainly compared to what it replaced with its flimsy wood and construction). I have told friends and even posted on social media that it's 'built like a tank'. It's very sturdy and just what I was hoping for! Brilliant job.

Poor Combi finishes
Poor finishes and lack of quality have ruined our experience of dealing with MCD garden ‘Sheds’. if you’re looking for a good quality product do not buy the ruby combi shed (15x9ft) cost with guttering & insulation 5.6k! We are having to spend additional monies finishing off the edging below the doors to the summer hse section as the floor is completely exposed to the elements. Also, if you’re looking to paint the outside of the combi, the timber is generally very rough with far too many nail and screw holes that will need filling. Although the installation team were polite and helpful, on a few occasions they were on the phone to their office taking images of issues relating to the build.
It's yet to rain, so hopefully the combi will be waterproof, although there are lots of knots, one very large one which they have attempted to fill and left as a mess.
This company should stick to making low costs sheds and not trying to make summer houses.

It's important to mention that you visited our showroom prior to your purchase and had the opportunity to examine our products in person. We do find it strange that your email the day after the installation (which you signed off saying you were happy with after inspecting the building) started with “Quick feedback on yesterday’s installation of our new combi shed - although overall we are pleased” then progressed to a 2 star review!
One of our team replied to you explaining that the area below the doors is the same in all buildings with joiner doors and also pointed out it’s the same as the showroom model, and sent photos to refresh your memory, they also explained that if the guys see a knot that has popped out they will fill this during the installation / manufacture process; your response? “This is a very disappointing and inadequate response and leaves me regretting spending 5.6k with you” which seems an extremely disproportionate reaction. We replied again to ask “What resolution were you anticipating?” and your next reply didn’t answer the question. How can we help you without knowing what it is that you actually want? After receiving the notification of your review we have emailed you again to ask “What resolution were you anticipating?” and your response is that you want someone to come and fill all the nail holes! This is completely irrational and is not and has never been part of the service. The nail holes do not need filling prior to painting unless it is your personal preference. We have called you today to see how we could resolve this amicably, even offering to video call to show that your doors are exactly as per the showroom model, which you have seen and that none of the nail holes are filled; you refused to do this, we suspect that this is because you know we will be proven correct and that your response to our clear and factual email will be shown for exactly what it is... unjustified!
False and malicious reviews can be extremely harmful for small businesses, thankfully the vast majority of our customers are reasonable, understand the nature of owning and maintaining a timber building and can see that our buildings are the best value on the market.
As you refused to allow a video call this morning, we have now sent a video to you by email of the showroom model, the exact one that you saw during your visit, showing unfilled nail holes where the nails hold the boards to the framing and the floor being exactly as per the one installed for you. We would love to believe that once you have seen the proof that this is how it was when you visited and that your building is no different that you would consider revising your 2 star review.

Absolutely over the moon with my new shed, I was surprised at how substantial it was, it really is made to last.
Excellent service all round I have no hesitation in recommending MCD Garden sheds great company to deal with.
