What makes my review great , first of all I have no regrets going to the fair lawn Mavis Discount tires . Wonderful services great respectable staff Rajiv if am calling your name correctly big up yourself and the to the staffs that take care of my vehicle. I felt safe in your hands both financially and motor physically and thank you guys for all the big smiles you have me giving it was a great pleasure for me and I walk away with less stress .I will be back guys.

**Review: A Frustrating Experience with Mavis Tire in Fairlawn, NJ**

In July 2024, I purchased four new tires from Mavis Tire in Fairlawn, NJ, for my Volvo XC90 Hybrid, totaling $2,315.37. Unfortunately, after installation, I noticed persistent low tire pressure issues. This led me to suspect something was off with the new tires.

On October 18, 2024, I brought my vehicle to the Volvo dealership in Ramsey, NJ, for inspection, where they confirmed that Mavis had installed the wrong type of tires for my car: "summer" run-flat tires instead of the recommended "all-season" non-run-flat tires. Volvo clearly indicated this error in writing on their receipt.

That same day, I returned all four tires to Mavis for a resolution. Weeks passed without any word until November 1, 2024, when I received a call from Dennis Serpe of Mavis, who defended the company’s actions, claiming they made no error and initially refused a refund. He stated he would consider a full refund if I provided proof that my original tires were all-season, which I did. However, he then called back with an excuse, offering only a partial refund of $1,000.

Currently, all four tires remain with Mavis in Fairlawn, NJ, but this issue remains unresolved. The lack of accountability and responsiveness has made this a frustrating experience, and I would caution others when considering a purchase from this location.

Went for Oil change and completed before the promised time. Staff were very polite.

John once again gave me great service. I was in and out in an hour with no appointment.

Walked in without an appointment and was taken care of immediately. I was treated with respect and was very comfortable with leaving my car in their care. I will absolutely return if I have any issues or problems that require their assistance. They are knowledgeable and professional and I would definitely recommend their services to family and friends.

I was a actually taken earlier than my appointment. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. All the work done ( alignment, tire rotation, plugging a leak) was explained. Professional, courteous and competent.

They always say every time I visit that I need to change my brake pads and rotors, so I have been. My car is only 4 years old. On my last visit, it wasn't even a full six months before my last change but they said the same thing again so I told them that. They proceeded to call me back 4 times that day, offering a lower price every time they called. To my suspicion, I got a second opinion and a different private shop that told me my pads and rotors were fine for at least another year and that they get tons of customers who come from Mavis that have been scammed. Yes, they're nice and work in a timely fashion but can't trust what they say I need for my car anymore.
