We’re really sorry to hear that our matcha wasn’t to your taste. Matcha can have quite a distinctive flavour — earthy and slightly bitter — which can take some getting used to, especially compared to sweeter green teas.
If you’re new to matcha, we’d be happy to share some preparation tips to help bring out its smoother side. If you think the taste seems unusual or stronger than expected, please reach out to us at contact@matchaeco.com
with your batch number — we’ll be happy to check it and arrange a replacement if needed. We will always put things right!

Rated before and I ordered again and as per the matcha is great and affordable. Order from these guys rather than paying ridiculous amounts in Cafe Nero or Costa etc. for one drink.

My fave matcha brand 🍵
My go-to matcha brand! The flavor is beautifully smooth—naturally mellow with a hint of sweetness and a creamy finish. It brews into the perfect cup whether hot or iced, with a vivid green color that speaks to its quality and freshness. It whisks up effortlessly every time. I also love that the tubs are generously filled, making it fantastic value for money. Delivery is always quick too. A brand I’ll happily stay loyal to.

First time try but too bitter
I got these teas as a prize. I hadn't tried Matcha before and wanted to see what it was like. I tried the Turmeric one. i was really surprised by how bitter it was. As a diabetic I can't have a lot of sugar, so I added a spoonj of honey instead, on the grounds it was "healthy" sugar. it did help a bit, but the tea was still too bitter, and I couldn't finish it. I see from Trustpilot that many others have found it fine, so this is probably just me not expecting the taste I got.

Hello Mark! Thank you for your feedback and congratulations on the competition!
Matcha can be a bit of an aquired taste especially if this is your first time trying it, the way matcha is prepared is quite important. We recommend if you are new to matcha trying a matcha latte or iced matcha latte!
Make your 'koicha' with 2g of matcha powder ( you can use more but to taste obviously the more it will be stronger!) whisked with an electric or bamboo whisk with 40ml of hot water (80 Deg C), once you have a nice foamy layer, then pour in to either steamed or iced milk and enjoy!
We hope this helps you!
