Marvel Heating seems a reasonable company. They installed a heat pump for me 12 months ago and it has recently had it's first service. No problems. We did need a filter in one pipe but that was delivered and subsequently fitted by Marvel who attended on time on the agreed date.

Marvel Heating & Renewable Energy Ltd fitted a heat pump for me and I am very satisfied with the installation. Any initial problems were addressed immediately and resolved with efficiency and friendliness. They are approachable and have readily explained, and helped with, any queries I had about this new system. Thank you lads, I certainly can recommend your work ethic.

The company did a great job and installed everything to my liking. all mess cleaned up after a careful installation
Only criticism is the cost of a general yearly service to a pensioner like myself, although it was done efficiently

Marvel provided a highly professional service from start to finish. Everyone took pride in their work with particular mention to Josh and Darius. As an initial sceptic about the suitability of an air source heat pump in an old property, I am a satisfied convert and would recommend putting trust in this company.

Our contact with all members of staff has always been friendly, helpful and professional. The installation staff worked harder and more speedily than we have ever seen from others before, and despite the discovery of a plumbing problem which had not been anticipated, they coped efficiently and still completed the job in 2 days. The electrician who came the following day was also excellent and completed his work quickly. All mess was cleared up, rubbish taken away, and the house left in a clean and tidy state. The Heat Air Pump has been working efficiently ever since and we are very happy with the system.

Marvel installed a heat pump at my property. The Instalation is first class and the after sales service excellent for someone of my age who is not tech savy.

An Air Source Heat Pump was totally new to me but Marvel explained the concept and the design specific to my 1930 s semi.They were thorough and detailed in their planning.
I wanted the water cylinder and heat pump in specific places.The water cylinder where my gas boiler was so it could easily connect to the relevant pipe work.However when the two lads arrived to install they showed me it would be very restrictive to put the cylinder where I wanted it
The design team came back and in consultation with the install team and me they showed me an alternative location which would involve running pipes from the utility room through the downstairs loo to where the existing pipework was .I was guaranteed by Dwain that all would be made good .
It was ...and now when I look at the install it is in the best place.
I would recommend Marvel to anyone considering a heat pump install .Their whole approach is detailed and the quality of their installers is outstanding as is their sense of humour

I used this Company for the installation and supply of a heat pump, roof panels and batteries that was a year ago, the system has worked well for a year and am now at the stage of getting the system serviced and have every trust that Marvel heating will service and check the system they installed to keep it up to a good standard.

Marvel pick up the phone and are responsive and competitive. They have well organised, competent teams. We had no issues with the install and have had our Heat Pump, Heating and Hot Water system for a year now and are really pleased with it.

Everything went smooth with install and after

We had a heat pump and hot water cylinder installed last November. I waited 'til now to make sure I was completely happy with the whole system. At one point before the install I had cold feet (no pun intended) and cancelled. Dwain called me to chat through my worries, and while he wasn't being in any way pushy or trying to persuade me, in fact he was very reassuring. My main worry had been that the system operated at 48 degrees, and that wouldn't be hot enough. (In fact it's plenty hot enough!)
The survey went well, and we needed about 15 radiators replaced. We also had to have a bespoke hot water cylinder to fit our old (very narrow) airing cupboard; Marvel organised it, it was delivered and works perfectly.
One hiccup: I'd agreed with the surveyor where the pump would go outside; but on the day of the install panicked about the pipe runs, and asked the installers to put it somewhere else - that turned out completely unsuitable. Dwain organised for them to return and move it a couple of weeks later at minimal cost. Entirely my fault - the lesson is, listen to the installers!
The installers were great. Nice chaps, and did excellent, careful work. Right at the end, one of them was insulating the pipes in the cylinder cupboard, and really taking his time to do it beautifully, even though the other two had finished - which led to a bit of teasing, but really showed how much pride they had in their work.
The heat pump is a 14kW Mitsubishi, for a four beroomed semi-detached house. It's great - the house is plenty warm enough. We're on the Octopus Cosy tariff, designed for heat pumps, and even after 4 months (in winter), we've cut our monthly energy bill by £35. (For gas and electric - the gas bill is now negligable. £200 pcm altogether.)
The only downside is the Mitsubishi app, which is quite poorly designed (especially compared to Hive that I had before). Took me some time to puzzle out how to set the timers (but works OK).
Finally worth saying that Marvel are very responsive: any queries I had were answered straight away. If you're thinking of having a heat pump, I'd say go for it, and use this company!

Overall excellent experience. The survey was brief and clear, with a price given very quickly. The buying process was simple, and the install date came about quickly (perhaps a little too quickly!) due to another property cancelling.

The installers were excellent, though there was a small delay for the heat pump because we'd brought the install date forward. The team were respectful and communicative and took excellent care of our house. Solar and battery were put in as well, and we got a full walkthrough on everything.

The team have been on hand to answer any questions and we've had the system 18 months now with no complaints. We'd recommend both the system and Marvel

Marvel Heating were excellent during pre installation; exceptional when they installed our air source heat pump; completely reliable servicing it on a yearly basis. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly.

they kept Contradicting each other

in the end had a gut fill and kick their tech person off site

Also, they make you pay £200 for the heat lose survey which should be free as part of the company claiming the MCS grant

So all you can do is basically blame my wife for the total mess up

Staff turning up unprepared and in informed which you admitted on the phone to me and that was not 3rd had

Basically the truth is hurting you now I told you I was not happy and to stick you £200 you tried to buy me off with

From first visit and qoute. Through to installation and clearing of rubbish, could not fault the company.The installation I was concerned. but Darius and is team installed and left the place as no one had been in. All clean and everything back in order.very professional, thank you, would highly recommend this company.

The Marvel team came out and gave me a thorough survey and all the data I needed to make an informed decision to go ahead with my solar installation. Installation was completed neatly and with a smile (despite the terrible weather). Very happy with the system!

Didnt turn up for a sales appointment following emails and two prior calls to confirm time and date.

No phone call to let me know they would not be attending. Just let me sit here like a lemon waiting in a vein hope they were a honerable organisation.

Excellent service from start to finish, a pleasant team of installers, a great friendly salesman. Everything was just great and professional. I had the heat pump installed and commissioned within a day, all the mess was cleaned up and collected. I would highly recommend marvel. Thank you.
