Compact, self-fertile variety from Serbia
Beautiful pink blossom in early spring
Early ripening fruit ready in late September
Ideal for cooking, preserves, and quince liqueur
Quince ‘Serbian Gold’ is a compact yet highly productive tree, prized in its native Serbia for both its flavour and reliability. Earlier to ripen than most varieties, it produces golden fruits by late September, perfect for making jellies, preserves, or rich quince liqueur. As well as being a generous fruiter, ‘Serbian Gold’ is also ornamental, producing masses of soft pink blossom in spring before setting its aromatic fruit. A self-fertile and hardy variety, it thrives in the UK climate and is well suited to gardens large or small.
