Bewertungen zu Onion ‘Electric’ (Autumn Planting)

Early Red Onions with Plenty of Colour Early-maturing red onion for autumn planting Glossy deep red skins Attractive red-ringed flesh Excellent flavour for fresh eating and cooking Harvest from early summer Give your red onion crop a head start with ‘Electric’, an early-maturing variety bred for autumn planting. The sets establish before winter and get growing again in spring, producing attractive semi-round bulbs ready to lift from early summer. Cut one open and the colour continues through the bulb, with white flesh attractively ringed with red. The flavour is good enough to make ‘Electric’ particularly useful raw in salads, sandwiches and dressings, while the bulbs are equally at home in everyday cooking. Its combination of early cropping and rich colour makes ‘Electric’ a useful choice if you want something different from the usual golden overwintering onion.
