Bewertungen zu Fritillary Crown Imperial Bulbs 'Rubra'

Unusual crimson red flowers Striking tall stems up to 1m Flowers in May Ideal for borders and mixed beds Fritillaria imperialis ‘Rubra’ is a striking twist on a classic spring favourite, with deep crimson red blooms instead of the usual orange or yellow. Its bold flowers and stately height bring drama and colour to borders in May, attracting attention wherever it grows. This variety produces tall, upright stems reaching 80–100cm, topped with distinctive bell-shaped flowers and a crown of green foliage. It’s equally at home in sunny or lightly shaded borders and pairs beautifully with other late spring bulbs and early perennials. Plant bulbs at least 20cm deep in autumn for best results, and choose well-drained soil to help them establish. A true statement plant for gardeners looking for something a little different.
