Bewertungen zu Cherry Blossom 'Kanzan'

Masses of rich pink double blossoms in spring Attractive bronze young foliage turning green, then golden in autumn Ideal for small to medium gardens and urban settings RHS Recommended: Award of Garden Merit Prunus ‘Kanzan’, also known as ‘Kwanzan’ or ‘Sekiyama’, is one of the most celebrated Japanese cherry blossom trees, loved for its vibrant display of rich pink, double flowers that cover the branches in late spring. Its striking bronze young leaves create a beautiful contrast against the blossoms before maturing to deep green through summer and transforming into warm golden tones in autumn. ‘Kanzan’ develops from a narrow, upright form in youth to a graceful, spreading shape with age. Perfect as a specimen tree in gardens or urban landscapes, it thrives in any well-drained soil and is remarkably hardy. This elegant variety’s long history traces back to Japan’s Edo period, where it was bred from Prunus species such as the Oshima cherry. A true garden treasure offering beauty across the seasons. Rootstock: Colt Height at full growth: 4-5m Delivered as bare rooted specimen
