So happy we chose Marie to make our son’s first birthday cake. It was a smooth process from the initial enquiry to the cake being delivered.

Our plan changed a few times (the date of delivery/delivery location), but Marie was extremely accommodating and able to adhere to our changes.

The cake was beautiful, we had many compliments and it tasted amazing!

We will definitely be using Marie in future and will be recommending her to all of our friends and family 😊

Marie responded to my initial enquiry promptly. I provided suggestions for my husband’s birthday cake (to serve 20, guitar themed, white icing, etc) and Marie provided some sample pics on a similar theme for me to choose from.

Marie delivered the cake on the agreed day and time.

The cake looked great. The sponge was light and the butter filling delicious.

I will definitely be contacting Marie to make our next celebration cake.

Highly recommended – personal service – amazing design and attention to detail. The cake itself was delicious – the sponge was light and fluffy and the icing was not too sweet.

Marie has been very helpful and her cakes are at a very reasonable price.

Cake was fantastic and enjoyed by all, would use again.

Marie made a black forest gateau for my wife's 40th and it was delicious. Delivered to a family member as part of the plan, nothing was too much trouble, from transport arrangements to adding some extra dowels and a sturdy box, so it could travel another 140 miles by car with us... And survive.
I wouldn't hesitate to use 'Marie Makes' again or to recommend her locally!

I had an idea and Marie made it come to life exactly as I visioned - actually it was better! The cake itself was so moist, tasteful and went down a treat. Everyone got to take home seconds too which was brilliant. Communication was brilliant, pricing was very fair for the service and cake delivered.
