I commissioned Maple Publishers to handle a little book of poems and essays that I wanted to self-publish. The first person assigned to me unfortunately left because of illness. But Isha stepped in and she was great. She co-ordinated the editing of my manuscript, liaised with the layout team, took all my feedback on the cover design and layout and saw the whole thing through to the printers, both hardback and paperback. It took longer than I expected, but the final result is beautiful and something I'm really proud of. Thank you Isha!

It was thrilling to finally receive my completed hardback copy of Towards the Hills after writing it in 2006. Thank you for the beautiful cover design and page layout. It really is a beautiful little book (memoirs and anthology) and I'm so proud of it. The paper and print quality are high.

Thoroughly enjoyed the journey from submitting the manuscript to the “The Man Who Lost His face” got published. The whole team showed professionalism at its best. Isha has been very helpful all through. I would have liked some clarity about the printing cost upfront.

Welcome to the house of fun. In fact, my journey with Maple has been a very happy learning curve. They have worked hard to help and keep me in a good place. I know I’m not the easiest person to work with, and as, 4 years ago, I knew zilch about publishing, I think they have done a fantastic job. I’ve now published 4 books with them, and am now working on a fifth. So a big thank you to the people at Maple, and also to the star of my sequels, Anneliese!

Writing my book Pip and the Star was the easy part. Getting my. book out to the world was entirely another matter. My first choice of publisher turned out to be a bottomless money pit so I was quite nervous about trying again but after reading reviews about Maple Publishing I took the plunge and I am so glad I did. Pam the coordinator for my project was so helpful and even made corrections to my manuscript for no extra charge. I was so impressed I launched my second book with Mapel while the first was still in the process of being published. I cannot thank them enough for an exemplary service.

Very helpful throughout the process of putting my story of Poppy and Toffee into Production. From start to finish it was a huge learning curve and am extremely grateful for their advice for the launch date of 19th December.

Wonderful experience! I have loved working with Maple Publishers. Everything was perfect, from the initial chats and information with Ella to the ongoing support from Isha. They are a lovely team of people. My children's book has been beautifully illustrated by the illustrators, much better quality than I imagined! I cannot recommend Maple Publishers highly enough. I am now proceeding with two more books with them so that says it all!

I've had a brilliant experience with Maple Publishers, they were really helpful and supportive all the what through the process of publishing my children's book "Skeet and the Sparkly Trail". I will definitely be using them again for my second book.

Maple Publishers published my book and dont pay Royalties even when book has been on international sale. I will never use them again. Its a dishonest and evasive practice. They never reply to correspondence. As soon as my book was published as the author i have been neglected and each member of their staff has a different story. No consistency at all. I can not recommend this publishers at all. You are left to do everything yourself. Their proof reading cost an extra £100 and was diabolical i had to do it again myself. In 80 regional papers are 2 million views on In the World of Spud. They helped as far as publication and although being distributed to more than 130 companies worldwide they are denying all knowledge they just told me if i want to sell to do it myself. They even wanted me to prove which companies were selling the book and how many each had sold. One company was rebinding the book in leather, gilding the pages and finishing it in gold leaf for sale at $83.99. Multiples of new and used copies are being sold on EBay too. They have my name as a number on the dashboard and are refusing to divulge any information of sales. Regardless of attention it has received Maple lost interest once it had been published and John and Vrinda have been evasive. If i send an enquiry regarding publishing a second book they are very quick to reply. Their advertising about the artwork is misleading as all 21 pieces of artwork are my own except the edges of flowers on the front cover. One of their staff says its being distributed by a third party and another says its not. Im told constantly to wait another year. I have two more books to publish but that will not happen with Maple as they were negligent from the date of publication. It was published in 2023 and all ive had is avoidance tactics a continuous stream of fabricated excuses as to their negligence. I will not use them ever again. This will be looked into further.

I must admit I looked at many publishing companies to see if I could get my book published, but I really did not know what I was looking for, or who I could trust, and whether I would get value for money, or if I was just wasting my time and money. I did get a few offers from other publishing companies, but after reading so many reviews on Trustpilot about Maple Publishing, it just seems the right company to use. I had read many very good things about the Maple Publishers staff, not just reviews about the company. It was those comments that made me use Maple, since the reviews were about the staff I would be working with. So, I took a chance on Maple because of all the wonderful comments about their staff. What can I say, Pam, who became my guiding light, offering her advice, time, and a lot of patience. Pam was there whenever I needed advice; nothing seemed to be a problem for her, and she was always available to talk about anything. If I was looking for someone—not just a company—to help me with a book, then, due to the wonderful staff, especially Pam, Maple Publishing is the company for you to get your book published. I started the process of publishing my memoir rather nervously as you technology skills are not great.
However I received good support at all stages from Tom at the initial set up, Nash as my very patient coordinator and finally Pam who took over from Nash after his accident-equally patient and understanding.
I am delighted with the finished book and look forward to sharing it with my grandchildren first before other family members and friends see it too.

They are a fantastic company to have your book published by. Extremely thorough with the process from beginning to end, great at keeping you updated at every stage and very quick to respond to any queries.

Having contacted two publishers previously - I found Maple publishing extremely collaborative and very helpful in the publication of my book - which is due for launch early in December '25.

Great communication with their representatives ( first Ella,then Nash and then Isha), thorough explanations, transparency and quick replies to my queries . Still waiting for the book to be published in November, but I'm sure everything will be great. I was quite suspicious after being scammed by another publishing house and I am not happy I trusted Maple Publishers

I have been editing a collection of essays on T. S. Eliot, called Christ the Tiger, by my father, Hyam Maccoby. I think the book is worth publishing, but it is likely only to appeal to a small, niche readership. In today's publishing climate, in which marketing is all-important, this means that publishers are unlikely to accept a book that, however much worth publishing as a book, will not be financially viable. So the answer was clearly self-publishing. I had reached this conclusion when I talked to a friend, Simon Cohen, who had had a book published by Maple Publishers. I ordered his book and (as well as appreciating the content) very much liked the cover design, the type format and the general appearance of the book. Maple work with the book design company White Magic, who have a real sense of the aesthetic look of a book.
Pam and the team were incredibly patient with my "hundred visions and revisions" (to quote T. S. Eliot's poem "Prufrock"; in fact my "visions and revisions" were far more than just a hundred!). So I highly recommend Maple/White Magic to anyone contemplating self-publishing.

Maple have produced a very attractive edition of my memoir. The quality of the paper, print, layout and photographs is truely impressive.
After months of frustration searching for a good publisher, it was a relief when, one day, my Personal Assistant, informed me that she had found one. It was well worth the wait.
Maple have far exceeded my expectations! Their service has been excellent throughout the publishing process which is quite complicated. They have kept me informed, always assuring me that, to them, I was the important one.
Their guidance and advice has been invaluable; they have demonstrated a care and thoroughness at all times.

Now I must get down to producing my second volume!

All going well, it will make the hoped-for reader feel that issues and concerns typical of the Victorian epoch are still topical in postmodern times.
