This review's just for anyone trying to pair this with an NT1 microphone. The similar Rode one (DS1) wasn't in stock at the time I was buying the mic, so got this, but it didn't quite cut it for the purpose. This stand is as weighty as the Rode alternative and would be fine for something that perched more centrally on it, but the Rode one's a bit bigger in diameter at the base which it turns out makes all the difference for a mic that has to sit to one side.
