Update. Two weeks of not being able to distill any water and not a single email acknowledged by Make water pure. They've got time to write nonsense on Trust pilot though 🤡. They will continue to be ignored here. I will be reporting to trading standards tomorrow morning and contacting my bank for a full refund.

Edit in response: Once again disgustingly 'Make water pure' ignore both emails and live chat messages, but can reply here! Potential customers - read other very similar experiences - this is how corrupt scammers operate. £200+ wasted on a non functioning machine, endless frustration, lost time trying to get it resolved, we rely on distilled water due to ill health and have collectively lost months not being able to distill any. DO NOT SPEND A SINGLE PENNY WITH MAKE WATER PURE you will deeply regret it.

Having previously been messed around trying and to buy replacement glass nozzle due to the badly designed machine, they sent filters and no nozzle and didn't rectify it for over 4 months and only gave in with my repeated updated reviews on Trustpilot. Now the distiller won't stay on for more than 5 minutes and is utterly useless!! They've ignored my email and live chat message from 5 days ago. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ABHORRENT COMPANY! I will be contacting trading standards.

Incredibly rude customer (so called) service from Hannah.
Product arrived and everything looked fine until I noticed, the glass nozzle was not included. I contacted the company, who asked me to check in the glass jar and the box. I had already but checked again. I let them know and heard nothing. Then I followed it up and received a sarcastic response of 'what are you using then?' No apology, no resolution to send out what was missing. I had to insist that they send out the part that I had paid for. When it was sent, the glass nozzle had a water mark on it. I contacted the customer service again & said that I thought I had been sent a 2nd hand glass nozzle and sent a couple of photo's (I took the photo's as soon as I noticed, which was straight away) of the glass nozzle, which clearly showed a water mark all around at the same height. It is most definitely a water mark. I received an e-mail back to say, they don't deal in 2nd hand nozzles. So again dis-believing the customer again. I have never left a bad review. This compamy takes no responsibility for their errors but tries to push the blame onto the customers. See other reviews, stating the same thing!

Been using this company for years now, I've brought 4 distillers over the years for myself and 1 for my daughter, my distiller is constantly operating but provided you clean them on a regular basis they really are great, next day delivery every time I've ordered from them, I have not had to contact them for any issues so I can't comment on their customer service but I would definitely recommend them for quality and efficiency.

The distiller worked for a month and since we've been trying out different ones, neither work, no one responds to emails.... Abysmal customer service. I asked for the company's registration number and address, all I was given Jamie's email address. Apparently he's senior there....still waiting for the rest of the information and distiller that works....

No you haven't received the faulty machine and haven't initiated anything. Unless you are talking about another unfortunate soul who is having the same experience as me. Instead of lying on here, why don't you put that effort in improving customer care and product quality?

Bought a stainless steel water distiller from this company (make water pure) and within a year it was only producing half the water it should have been. Raised the complaint via their customer service email, I had to send pictures etc and the response was to clean the gasket on the fan unit which I did making no difference at all, I even replaced the gasket with a new one, again with no difference in water produced, I was eventually referred to their tech dept who took months to respond with a list of things to check which I did but could not find anything obvious that was wrong, haven't heard anything since and have tried emailing them and texting their tech department again, avoid this company at all costs, I hope they go out of business soon.

After a hard working two and half years the fan on my distiller machine developed a fault. I contacted the company and was sent a new fan within 2 days.
Always friendly with great customer service. Highly Recommend.

Distiller suddenly stopped working about a week ago, it's still in the warrenty period. Emailed the company, not a great response to solve my problem, just a never ending series of requests to photograph things, then emails making statements about what could have caused the fault. No offer to have it repaired or replaced under the 2 year warrenty, they have now gone quiet and stopped replying to my emails, will wait a few more days before instructing Bank to refund monies under consumer rights.

Purchased my water distiller 3 months ago, 2 weeks ago it went with a bang and stopped working.
Having gone back to the website to find contact details, you find no phone number, just an email address, to which you get reply but no answers to the problem.
After many emails and whatsapp messages sent i have given up, binned the unit (£200) and looking for an alternative.

High-quality products, rapid and efficient service form the online shop. Okay sure the website could look a bit better but these guys know what they're doing. Highly recommend.

Faulty 6 Litre Water Distiller

We are very disappounted at the lack of customer service. Our 6litre water distiller arrived FAULTY. We followed the instructions and it did not work. The green light did not come on and it did not distill any water. We have sent numerous emails WITH PHOTOS - last night and today and have had no response wiith regards to returning the faulty goods. This is not good enough and all purchasers be wary of this companies lack of customer service and accountability. Its a disgrace.

1st December 2022 company repeatedly stated will be dispatching a replacement todate we have received nothing. We have requested a full refund as per consmumer Act 2015 and their terms and conditions.

3rd December received email from MWP requesting i contact their techniacal team via whatsapp.. Which we have already done so on 3 occassions. I sent them two vdeos on the 25th November which they did not acknowkedge or open. I have now resent them again today quoting their ticket ref 1X5MBD.

BUYER BEWARE I WOULD NOT PURCASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY DONOT HONOUR THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

UPDATE We are happy to state that iin this instance the company honoured their t&c and sent us a new distiller as well as a substantial amount of filters as an apology for their delay and inconsistamt communications.

Threatened them with legal action
Still no returns label sent. I told them I am willing to pay for the return postage but they are terrified of giving me the return address.
I got my new distiller from purity instead, this company sent me one that was damaged and used, they do not have a direct phone number and a direct email to speak to customer service,
I opened a dispute with my bank and sent them the evidence that the make water pure company is not sending me my money or giving me a return label and my bank refunded me and are awaiting for the company to collect their faulty item.
I spoke to legal advice and I know under the consumer rights act of 2015 every customer is entitled to a refund or a replacement of electrical goods.
This company failed to give me a replacement or refund and the last minute they tried to offer me a replacement after my bank already refunded the money.
Everyone has 120 to claim back their money under the bank policy but in exceptions like mine I got one year to claim it back and even if that doesn't go through I can request my bank to refund me the money within 3 years. Under contract law.

To be constructive these water filters are about clean pure drinking water - however since the product has no pouring spout - one is left having to decant with a jug one fills by dipping it and your fingers into the filtered water - WHICH defeats the objective of pure drinking water. Would you drink water that your host has served you from a jug they have dipped their fingers in _NO NO NO NO. Now to the calculated cost of 2 litres of drinking water - this works out at around 62 pence per litre bottle - SO THE END RESULT OF THIS DEVIC IS TO PRODUCE UNCLEAN DRINKING WATER DUE TO IT NOT BEING POURABLE and at the price of purchasing bottled water from the shops which if you went to the likes of LIDL would cost less! A good idea but badly designed product!

I recently purchased a distiller and have been having a few issues including a noisy fan, which was promptly replaced after I sent over a video of my machine. I also experienced a few other issues including the filter funnel falling out when the lid was opened (causing the glass funnel to smash) and also leaking due to distilled water not going into the jug correctly.
I contacted the company via Whatapp and was helped by Lucy who promptly responded to all my questions and queries (at 9.30pm). She was so patient and solved all my issues. I explained to her that the manual that comes with the machine is not detailed enough in setting the machine up correctly.
Lucy sent me some videos from YouTube which showed how to insert the filter funnel correctly and how to fit the lid to glass jug correctly.
Had these instructions been included in the manual I expect there would be fewer disgruntled customers on this site.
Overall even though I’ve had a few issues I can not fault the service I have received to date, especially the lovely Lucy who is a real credit to this company.

Read the other 1 star reviews they tell the same storys about this company. Machine was broken out of the box..no customer service no after care.Eventually got a return slip from their WhatsApp.Sent it back only to hear nothing from them..I've contacted PayPal which I use for transactions with companies like this one off items they are in th process of recovery the money.i go get another from someone who's got better reviews

The worst company ever had dealings with my distiller broke down didn’t even last a year emailed them for help and advice 7- 10 days for reply via email as you cannot call them ! Finally got a reply 1st had to explain the issue which I did wait for reply put back on a list then they wanted photos then I was told I was at fault not the distiller I have had distiller for years bought this one as a bit more updated they told me I needed a new seal which I bought fitted it worked do a while then broke down again sent another email 7-10 days …then they said send it back to them they would look at it they will email postage slip I sent another email to ask where it was and not at all happy with how I have been treated accusing customers and stalling so that the guarantee runs out I have no response from them at all since beginning of July now it’s nearly September what a terrible non existent customer service so I have £240 distiller non working distiller in my garage so disgusted with this company WARNING YOU to never buy anything from them !!!

Was given as a gift and used it 4 times and now small black granules pouring out of Fan Unit. It is now over 2 weeks trying to get a reply from their website but nothing except automatic email reply. They say' Very Busy' which means either very substandard product or one man business to reply to so many customer's problems.
Just DO NOT buy from company directly.(Buy from Amazon etc...) which at least you can send it back.

Update : On 27/8/22 you replied that you have dispatched filters. Today is 5/9/22 (10 days) which still I have NOT received anything from you ??!!

5/9/22 : Get in touch with what? your only contact is 07539 439981 (text only) which takes you about 2 weeks to reply. Why don't you just say' you have not posted the filters' ( 10 days uk post) ?!
Don't worry I just bin my 6 Lt distiller where it belongs.

DO NOT NEED TO CONRACT YOU, JUST SEND THE FILLTERS PREFEBLEY BEFORE XMAS 2023 AS YOU ARE VERY BUSY COMPANY ??!!

I have had so many issues with this company. The customer service is absolutely shocking but looking at these comments it seems to be a regular issue.

I think people would rather the time was taken to respond to their emails instead of responding to poor ratings.

My distiller like many others also leaks and has been cleaned. I am left with an inch of water after a cycle. I've also emailed regarding the refer a friend and still waiting for a response to my two emails sent weeks ago. I am absolutely regretting refering a friend. My distiller isn't even a year old and unusable. I don't have the money you charge to replace it either.

I always buy the accessories from you but will be shopping elsewhere. I can't imagine my issue will be resolved but it would be nice if it could be.

My advise would be to buy yours from ebay for a fraction of the price. I know people who have, have had issues and had a replacement sent. I am so disappointed in your company.

Terrible customer service, ignore emails and all messages.
The item arrived damaged, in fact it’s looks like a “second”
I can not use the item correctly.
My emails are being ignored, and the phone number they supply never gets answered.
It’s like no a nightmare.

Appalling. Water pouring down the side of brand new unit. Part of order missing and no reply on phone or via email.
I wish I'd never ordered from this company. Please before you even think of ordering from them head over to facebook and check out their dreadfull reviews. They ignore all emails and correspondence. Having now found their business address I look forward to dragging them through court. If anyone else needs help or advice in regards to doing the same them please get in touch with me.
I will not be leaving this here and further action to follow. I'd advise anyone else with similar issues with this company to do the same.
Please do yourself a favour and order from one of the more reputable and honest companies out there and avoid make water pure at all costs!

UPDATE: They did sort the problem out in the end and since then I've bought products from them again and they have been excellent.

My water distiller kept turning itself off. I was very happy with the product but not with customer service. I emailed them and got an automated reply saying they're busy and I would hear in about 7 days. I waited and emailed them again 6 days ago, still no reply. A business stands and falls on how it behaves when a customer has a problem. They fix it and we love them, they don't even reply and we lose all faith that they give a damn about us. After a very long wait they finally repaired it. Great product, big hassle if it goes wrong.
