I signed up for the mystery card plan, and I haven't been disappointed yet. I have received 4 different packs of cards so far, and they look great in display cases. I also purchased the display cases from the Magic Shop, as I can't bring myself to open the packs; they look too good to open. This month's pack hasn't turned up yet, and I hope when it does it's as good as the 4 I've already received. Sorry it's taken me so long to review.

Merchant of Magic; the old meaning was specialist.
and that describes this shop perfectly, a specialist in wonder.
Have only used the shop's resources in a limited way, however the service has only gone two increase that sense of 'specialist'.
and as a purveyor of wonder, it feels like this is our friendly next door magician's emporium.

The shop allows you to see a potential purchase in action through the short video clips. This makes decision making for any particular item so much easier. The buying process is easy and straightforward. The purchase is acknowledged by email same day. Items arrive just a few days later, always well packaged. I have no hesitation whatsoever about ordering from this seller. All this is based on my personal experience of several purchases over many months. Professional, helpful and first class service every time.

If I could give this business no stars, I would. Because I live a 3-hour drive away from the shop, I emailed ahead of time to double-check they would definitely be open on the day I was intending to visit, so I wouldn't have a wasted journey. I wanted to take my Husband on his birthday, as he often buys things from their website and had mentioned the shop a few times. I had a return email confirming that they would be open. We made the 3-hour journey, only to get there to find the shop, not only closed, but completely empty (apparently for a refit). There was also no mention of the shop being closed on their website!! shockingly awful customer service.

I have been buying my magic from Merchant of magic for about 6 years now. I have always found them helpful, the web site is always well stocked with old, and new tricks , and the team will give you good advice if you are not sure what to buy. I have been interested and practising magic for over 25 years, so to have a magic shop, or for me the web site to visit, and trust is very reassuring

I like getting the marketing emails which show new products with video demos, it's easy to contact MoM by phone, and delivery is much quicker than a popular US supplier. Nice company with good quality products.

Amazing choice of products for both newcomers to magic and expirienced magicians, with plenty of advice friendly service and speedy deliveries.

I have been using Merchant Of Magic for a great number of years now and have found all there magic equipment and tricks to be of a high standard and with reasonable pricing.
I have very rarely had any problems with my tricks and if there is a problem it is sorted very quickly by email or a phone call and the staff are quick to sort the problem out and also they will help you with any information or instructions you need.
The prices of there stock and tricks are very reasonable from beginner to expert and the postage is well priced, you do get delays with delivery but this is usually by the delivery company.
I would definitely recommend buying from Merchant Of Magic you have a great choice of stock with expert help if required and just a phone call away.

I purchased a Marked Deck this week the marks were impossible to make out especially in a working situation unless you have 20/20 vision, I checked the deck out with a few magic friends who all agreed they were impossible to read, i posted a critic re this and I got a text from the company asking me to delete it because they were a small company doing their best, I did delete it the next day I decided to return the deck but had to give up on that course because of the swings and roundabouts I as requested to do. I just have to accept the loss only £13 (not a lot) but the principle makes it disappointing ....GeoFitz

I'm not sure what was "special" about the "special edition" but it certainly contained a varied selection of magic tricks. It didn't come in a white box as expected and shown on the website but that is hardly a negative point. My favourite was Crystal Cleaver by Tenyo that I had been meaning to buy for a while. As usual, the value of the tricks well exceeded the price paid for the Mystery Box and I will be learning both Red Pill and Polarity to show friends. The Bounce/No Bounce balls are a bit of fun with the grandkids. All in all some good tricks that I will definitely perform.

Whilst I agree that some of the tricks are "old" (Red PIll by Chris Ramsey is 11 years old) that doesn't mean that they are bad tricks. If anything, it could mean that whoever saw them back in the day is likely to have forgotten them.

I've always had great service from Merchant of Magic and will continue to buy from them in the future.

I love using Merchants of Magic for buying my cards, tricks and equipment.

I only do magic to my friends and workmates so only buy the easier products but the choice from this shop is massive and covers all levels.

It's easy to buy, quick delivery and you get kept up to date with new releases. The website has good demo videos of the products so you can see what your buying.

The email contact is quite regular but I don't mind.

I have found the products supplied by Merchant of Magic to be of a consistently high standard. I have received the items ordered within a reasonable time frame and they have been well packaged.
If I have contacted them with a query, I have always been satisfied with the help I have received.

Merchant of magic have great magic products at a good price. I like everything I have received from them. Delivery is also good via royal mail. You can normally work out exactly when its due after dispatch. I am really pleased with the company and wont go anywhere else now. Keep up the good work MoM
