So the climbing frame itself is great

So the climbing frame itself is great, however it wasn't until the climbing frame was built that I realised the attachments for the slide were missing. I have managed to 'make do' with cable ties but have tried to get in touch with customer service several times and the number just rings out! Very frustrating after all that money spent!

Worst company I've dealt with in a long…

Worst company I've dealt with in a long time. Didn't deliver on confirmed date, when I emailed (because they don't answer any phones) it was promised no later than the Friday. Nothing on Friday so I emailed that evening requesting to cancel the order. Amazingly, I got an email from the courier the next day saying they have been instructed to pick it up, but they havent yet. I then emailed back (because they still weren't answering their phones) but was told they hadn't seen my email because it was out of office hours. Funny how someone was working out of hours to instruct the courier though. Although the trampoline hadn't actually been picked up, they still refused to cancel so I said I'd just refuse the delivery. I even tried to contact the courier myself to save them a wasted journey. It then arrived and I refused it.
I was then told I should have taken delivery and returned it myself as if it got lost 'in the system' I wouldn't be eligible for a refund. Read the distance selling regulations for gods sake. When it did get back there, they decided to keep an arbitrary ~£25 for the return that they had no right to do.
Throughout this the tone of their emails were petty and pedantic, and throughout the whole process they tried to make sure this worked out in their favour, not their customer.
My only recourse is to go through small claims court, but it's too much of a faff. I've now spent around £1500 on a trampoline and pool with another company, so they've lost out.
If they need the £25 that badly, go nuts. Have a drink on me. Just don't drink and drive, only scummy people do that!

Edit - interestingly, MadFun Ltd. flagged this and had it taken down, despite me providing trustpilot with evidence of my purchase. At no point did they respond to this review. Everything here is factual, and am more than happy to provide the full evidence chain for anyone who wants to see it.

I struggled to give madfun 1 star. I ordered a swimming pool which was in stock according to the website .Next day delivery was promised if ordered before 2pm. It finally arrived two weeks later after many promises of delivery and a lot of misinformation. I am pleased to see that the web page has been updated to say that a wait might be expected . I was pleased with the final product over all but would definitely shopped elsewhere had I been aware of the potential delays

Great service

There was a delay in delivery due to Covid and the whole Suez canal thing, but this was explained upfront and communication was very clear. Our trampoline was delivered the week after it became available and the installation team took about 45 minutes to put it together. Great service. Excellent customer service throughout.

TP Explorer Black

Bought an Explorer Black frame. Very popular item so had a little delay before receiving. Courier used was not very easy to obtain tracking information. Put it together on my own and fairly easy once I had figured out the different bars! Kids like to climb and enjoy the den. Using the bottom part as a ball pit but needs a lot of balls! Will get extensions once they are available.

Our trampoline is just what we hoped it would be and was delivered to us super fast! Customer support by email and phone was mixed, so if you don't get a helpful response try again. The delivery and installation service was fantastic.

Delivery from MadFun is a shambles

Delivery from MadFun is a shambles - get delivery notices to stay in to receive order every day which didn’t show up, then only part of the order arrived. Got the second part of the order at a later date in a broken box with bars scuffed and a piece missing. Spoke to customer services on lots of occasions who were nice but unhelpful. Wouldn’t let me cancel the order for a refund as I didn’t have the item - which was the exact point I was making!!

Order lost by carriers

MadFun itself was OK. However they use Tuffnells for delivery and our pool did not arrive as scheduled. Tuffnells website was hopeless. After constant chasing after 2 weeks it was declared lost by which time the pool was out of stock again and we cancelled the order. The refund was processed the same day.

Looks and feels great

Despite to pool arriving a month late, it is well made and looks great. The steps are sturdy and it was easy to put up. Took approx. 10 hours to fill. I’m the pump is a little noisy and has to be positioned at the same level as the pool and since the tubes are quite long, it can be up to 2-3m away.

Shockingly poor customer service

Shockingly poor customer service.
The item we ordered did not arrive within the delivery time frame specified on their website. We chased them and they promised to deliver within (another) 48 hours. The item STILL did not arrive and so we asked to cancel the order. We attempted to phone them - our calls were never answered, and so we contacted them by email to cancel. Following our cancellation email, they sent a dispatch notice (!) and told us we could no longer cancel even though we had contacted them before the item had been dispatched. When we refused delivery of the (cancelled) item, they charged us for the privilege! Their phone lines are never manned, and despite repeated attempts asking for a call back we heard nothing. Their email replies were sarcastic and unhelpful in tone. My advise, DO NOT buy from this company. They do not have the capacity to deal with their customers professionally or appropriately, and the experience of shopping with them has been wholly inefficient.
