I had purchased from MacPalace previously without issue however I purchased a MacBook Pro Logic Board this past spring for my MBP in Asia. The Apple repair center tested the board twice and found it was faulty. I later read in other reviews this often happens with items from MacPalace. I sent the board back with business partners who sent it FedEx to MacPalace to be replaced. I contacted them over and over again by both email and phone. They finally said they would send a replacement to my friend who was returning to Asia. All information and details were sent to MacPalace a month before his departure. Nothing was sent, I called them, got the run around, they said they would issue a refund - no refund, no response. I finally submitted all the details and correspondence to Wells Fargo Credit Card Fraud control to force the refund. 'They are scam artist, unethical and should not be trusted under any circumstances. I wish I had read reviews about them before I ever started on this adventure. You are warned - I would not do business with them under ANY circumstances and would sue them if I was in the US.
Worst Apple reseller to purchase from
We ordered a part on the 17th of November for a MacBook Pro display assembly. As everyone else stated bait and switch. They do this everytime. Anyways, we needed the part so we went ahead and ordered it. They told us it would be 3-5 days from the 17th. NOPE. That was a lie. They told us that it was on backorder and said it would be here in a few more days. Well, MacPalace, where the heck is my part almost a month later? Now my client is really upset at us all because we ordered parts from you.
From now on, we will never spend a cent or waste our time with them again. Hopefully the management or owner will smarten up and save that palace before it crumbles do to poor customer service, pricing, availability of products and overall business ethics.
Bait and switch
I ordered an I/O board for a MacBook Pro at one price, they emailed me and said the price had gone up by $40. I had to have the part, so I went ahead and paid the difference. Two weeks later, I ordered a screen for a MacBook Pro (different client), the same thing happened. I get an email that the price had jumped $60. I called to complain, and the response I got was that they do not have time to make sure their website prices are correct all of the time. Since this was my second order in a row, I canceled the order. I will never order from them again unless they change the way they do business. I can't just tell my clients that the price changed, so you have to pay more. BS, if I give a price to a customer, I keep that price, even if I have to lose money on the transaction.
Damaged hardware
Ordered a new power supply for an Xserve server. The part arrived damaged and customer support gave me the details to return for a full refund. The part was then refused at delivery and 5 emails and 2 calls later, they tell me the part was not damaged before shipment and cannot be returned.
I would never recommend MacPalace to anyone!
Bait and Switch
While shopping for a replacement power supply for my iMac I came across this site. They listed the part at a competitively good price of about $112. I ordered the part and got no confirmation email. Having ordered on a Saturday and having received only confirmation from PayPal that they had received my money I called them on Monday. The man seemed confused. I gave him my order number and was told that the problem is that the price had gone up by over $50. "If I would kindly submit payment, they would send the part." I canceled the order and was informed that they would refund my money to PayPal. They did this after two emails and two phone calls. I am glad that they did the right thing but am totally sour on the whole experience. It would take a lot to make me do business with this company again.
Scam!!!!
Someone needs to set up a website to file a class-action suit against these A Clowns. We're paying the shipping and they are getting their broken parts back. No need to run a legitimate business they make more money this way. They took me for over $500.00 for my efforts.
If you wrote a good review here, consider yourself lucky and stop setting others up for failure by giving them false hope. Other reviews show over 75% bad, anything else should be considered as dumb luck. Look at the review trend, funny how this company gets either good or bad reviews, only 1 in-between. This is almost a mathematical improbability. (Somebody's fudging the results.)
Cheated on shipping, old broken parts, predatory refund and restocking fee practices. I realize there are a few people who like to take risk. Well, Here it is!
If you have money to gamble or loose, I am certain this one-arm-bandit will oblige. I am calling the Fraud hot line as we speak.
Unprofessional and Unresponsive
After purchasing a refurbished product from the Mac Palace, Inc. and installing it, the product failed to perform as described. Mac Palace representative took me through numerous steps and countless hours of testing and chasing my tail with no results. After months of this back and forth, Mac Palace, Inc. has finally accepted the return, however they charge a 30% restocking fee. One can quickly see that a $300 product + shipping in both directions has leaves a buyer with over $100 is lost money on a faulty product.
I believe this business should be investigated for their scam-like practice.

I was very worried after I made an order and then came across these reviews. My order was an international one with little chances of ending stuff back for costs reasons. I ordered a PSU for an iMac, which some people mentioned to arrive second hand. True, the shop description fails to mention that something is new or used. To be on the safe side I decided to cancel the order. It was not cancelled but instead expedited in a notice that it was shipped without actually shipping for 24h (for this you guys lose a star). The courier kept me updated all the way and it was a make or break moment for me on the arrival of the package. To my relief the power supply was new and not re-used. Installed and fired up within minutes. Happy but somewhat nervous outcome.

They sent me a defective product and their only response was that back there. I returned it and, after 20 emails, I'm still waiting for their reply. I paid for a defective piece and two deliveries and I feel cheated.
False advertising
I was given a price, via online, asked if they had it in stock and if I could come pick it up. When I got there, they told me that the price had gone up from the time I called to the time I actually got there. 30 minute drive and the price went up from $151 to $195.
Good Recovery
Had a problem with product availability after ordering but with one phone call the company fixed the problem and I had my order within a week.
Received perfect part, but had to wait pretty long ...
I saw this logic board that was 65$ cheaper than other stores .. so I bought it, I did not know Macpalace at that time. A few days later I started reading these bad reviews about the company so I was a little scared about never receiving my product or seeing my money back. I had to wait for a pretty long time indeed (3-4 weeks), and I called customer support 2 times (I never received a tracking number) but eventually I received a PERFECT item that was perfectly packed and was brand new. I had to pay some extra customs (shipped to Belgium, Europe) costs so eventually I payed the same price as in other stores. But after reading all these bad reviews I thought it's good to share my story so other users know that there is a good chance that you will received the correct product after all :). Good luck!
Long Shipping, Great Prices, Quality Parts
Felt inclined to write a review after seeing so many scathing reviews and getting worried before I got my part. The truth is their customer service is understaffed and it takes a while to get your part. Other than that, I never had any problem after calling them and tracking my order down. I ordered a very expensive logic board with processor that is extremely rare. Their price was about 400 dollars lower than competition and the board works great. I'm typing on the computer right now. If you can wait a couple weeks for your part, it is well worth it.
what the heck how can this company work this way
On 11-12-12 I bought a power supply from Mac Palace paid for a two day delivery. . I had a problem with my credit card it did not go though so I called mac Palace (India) very rude customer services they said to resubmit my order and they indicated that the older order will be canceled. Unfortunately, it did not get cancelled! I was charged twice! So, I called (India) again, and they said that I would get a refund. I waited one week for the refund to appear and then I sent 3 more emails to Mac Palace with no reply. 3 1/2 weeks later, 12-3-12 I called again and I am still waiting for a refund.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Do NOT use Mac Palace out of California. Horrible customer service, very rude Indian (guessing by accents) men who constantly interrupted me when I was trying to talk to them about getting the necessary cable or returning the product that didn't work on my Mac. They shipped a video card without the necessary power cable and argued that it doesn't require one, when it clearly does (I have photos). Basically called me a liar when I told them the video card they sent me should've had a power plug with it, per the Apple Store, and said Apple was lying to me to make me buy from them. I ended up having to buy the card from the Apple Store because Mac Palace wouldn't answer my calls and refused to believe the Mac technicians knew what they were talking about. I left them several messages and they wouldn't return my calls for over a week. Paid more than double what I should've for Standard Overnight Shipping ($103.07) compared to DV Warehouse who charges less than half ($50.26) for the same shipping. They finally refunded a small portion of my cost -- took out 35% restocking charge, plus will not refund shipping on a part that was shipped to me incomplete and unusable. I had to pay return shipping without even knowing whether they would refund my money. Out of my $270.07 cost, I got $108.55 back for a defective/incomplete part and now I don't even have the part to show for it to resell. Worst customer service EVER. RUDE and talks down to women. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. SCAM COMPANY!
Stay Away
Ordered an iMac power supply for a customer who needed the machine repaired ASAP. Item did not ship for many days. No reply to my emails. No one ever available on the live website chat. Made several phone calls and no answer, not even a message machine. Finally got someone on the phone and was told the item had been on backorder and would ship today. Several days later the item arrived. Item was used. Discription did not state that. Visible burn mark on the power supply pcb board. Blown fuse and a missing/burned off pin on the ac input connector. Obviously the item was not inspected or tested prior to shipment.
Several more unanswered phone calls. Finally got someone on the phone and they've agreed to RMA the item for a refund. Returned the item at my expense. They have now had the supply for six days and no refund has been issued. Here we go again with more phone calls.
Will be calling Visa next.
Update: July 31st. Finally recieved a partial refund less a 35% restocking fee for a defective part!!!!!
Visa's fraud department has promised to take care of this for me!
Liars and thieves
These people are liars and thieves. I placed an order for 4 drives, and prior to giving them my credit card, I asked that they confirm that I would be shipped genuine Apple parts. What arrived were cheap knock offs. I called and was told to return them, which I did, at my expense. My credit card was finally credited only a portion of the sales price, I've yet to speak to any one there that can 'help' me, nor will that 'helpful' person return my calls. Perhaps they will pay more attention to my attorney?

After I purchased the product I had a serious phone calls with customer service politely asking about shipping time. I have paid express shipping. After 5 days they still didn't ship the item or even email for the shipping status. Of course, I placed a new phone call and they manipulated with incorrect information's (lied), they treated and patronized me in a disgusting way to make me feel as IDIOT not as customer. I have never had such a humiliating experience. This is more like to me as a Mac Dungeon instead of a Palace.
So when you read this, be my guest and "try" to make same mistake.
