Best High Quality Yogurt Maker
We absolutely love our Luvele Pure Plus yogurt maker. I have had digestive issues for years and have been doing so much better with the L-Reuteri yogurt culture that we purchased along with our Luvele Pure Plus yogurt maker. We have been sharing our homemade yogurt with family, friends, and neighbors. Everyone loves the taste because it is mild and creamy without the bitter or overly tart taste of store bought yogurt. It is so easy to use. I simply take milk, cream, a little prebiotic fiber and some of the starter and let the Luvele do the hard work on my counter quietly making my wonderful yogurt. I love the fact that we are making something with pure organic ingredients that is actually good for our health.
Thank you,
An all-round excellent product!
An all-round excellent product!
My yoghurt maker (and reuteri starter) arrived last week and we made a batch immediately. It super easy to use and I love that it makes a whopping 2L.
Really happy to get such good results! Thank you.
Love, Love the Yogurt Maker!
I love the yogurt maker and have bought one for my daughter and have had friends buy it as well with my recommendation. All are getting great results. Plus it is very pretty and looks great on my counter. I bought an extra set of jars so I can start another batch before I run out. I needed to contact customer service with a question and they were very responsive and helpful.
I noticed some reviews that had some difficulties making L Reuteri yogurt; Dr Davis' recipe. Sometimes my first batch is a bit looser than I like but it is still delicious and healthy but the second and next 4 batches are thick Greek like consistency and amazing, then I start over newly.
TIPS: With the latest recipe (search - "Dr Davis' latest L Reuteri recipe", it comes right up) I have not experienced any issues with the lids popping off during the 36 hours of fermentation. I have been using: Oxicentics "MyReutri" along with the other 2 probiotics products Dr Davis recommends. This might be a good solution if the BioGaia is causing issues; since he has a revised recipe, this is no longer part of it. I tried that recipe a few years ago and the new recipe is a winner in our home. One other thing I have done is freeze 2 Tablespoons from my first batch in a silicone ice cube tray (1.7 oz size cubes, I found is a time saver; thaw in the refrigerator) so I have additional starters waiting for me so I don't need to restart the recipe over again for awhile.
An additional tip: I use only 1 tablespoon of inulin with additional batches. It comes out thick enough for me.
I hope these tips are helpful and you enjoy whatever type of yogurt you make.

Charged, Cancelled Without Consent & Ignored
Absolutely appalling customer service. My order was cancelled without my request, despite the fact that I had already been charged. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the cancellation email stated that the order had been “cancelled at my request”, which is completely untrue. I never requested or authorised the cancellation.
I contacted the company twice to ask what had happened, and on both occasions my emails were completely ignored. The only action they took was to issue a refund — with absolutely no explanation, apology, or acknowledgement of either of my messages.
I was left chasing them repeatedly over an issue that was entirely their responsibility. Taking payment, cancelling an order without explanation, falsely stating that the cancellation was at my request, and then ignoring two separate attempts to get answers is simply unacceptable.
A refund does not excuse the complete lack of communication or basic customer service. I have rarely experienced such poor treatment as a customer. If this is how they deal with problems, I certainly won’t be ordering from them again and would strongly think twice before recommending them to anyone else.
One further concern: I previously left this review about my experience on Luvele’s own website, but subsequently noticed that the review was removed. If you are considering purchasing this product, I would recommend looking at independent reviews rather than relying solely on the reviews displayed on Luvele’s website.

The Luvele just does not work and it…
The Luvele just does not work and it can’t be returned. I tried to use their machine repeatedly and I’m an experienced yogurt maker who has been doing it for years. MY OLD METHOD: In the past used an ice chest with glass canning jars sealed with my milk and starter, and with 100F water around the jars. I filled the ice chest with the water up to the level of the milk in jars, always bringing the temp back to 100F as needed. Usually I only need to correct the temp two times after the initial 100F setup. This always worked great for paracasei sherota strain, and seven strain yogurt from ‘Yogourment’ and other strains. Every time after 24 hours I got thick creamy tart yogurt. USING THE LUVELE: Every time I try with my new Luvele yogurt maker, I get thick but less creamy yogurt that does not taste tart at all. The acid strips still say it acidified--moved up in acid to 4.5 or 5.0. It looks like yogurt, smells like it a bit, no off smells or colors. I’ve tried 18 hours, 16 hours, 12, hours and now 10 hours. I’ve tried two different starter cultures and both worked with other method. I even checked the temp of the yogurt maker’s water and it always stays at 100F and it seems to. I’m using the same milk and starter I’ve always used. But same result every time. ( 5x now.) ‘Yogurt’ is bland not tart, far less creamy yogurt, after 12-14 hours it separates (It would take 24+ hours to even come close to separation with the ice chest method and by then it was crazy tart.) I don’t know if its their containers or the machine itself, all I know is it does not work, and my old method worked every single time without fail. I suspect that there is a reason Luvele is not on Amazon. Likely, they don’t want the reviews or the return policy. MY ADVICE: EITHER GET A DIFFERENT BRAND THAT IS ON AMAZON, OR GET AN ICE CHEST RATHER THAN A MACHINE. It’s more effective, more sure fire, you get better results, its way cheaper, and you don’t have to worry about the machine breaking down. Also, Ive heard Luvele often takes bad reviews off their website, so also post on Trust Pilot and BBB if you have had a bad experience. I wanted to like it, but its just not a good machine.

Luvele Pure Yogurt Maker
I absolutely love my Luvele Pure Yogurt Maker! As someone who is passionate about making my own Bulgarian yogurt and kefir for their health benefits, I can confidently say this machine has been a game changer. The quality and consistency of the yogurt and kefir I've made with the Luvele are unmatched. The machine maintains a precise and stable temperature, which is crucial for culturing the beneficial bacteria properly. Every batch comes out perfectly, thick, creamy, and tangy just like it should be. What I appreciate most is the simplicity and convenience of the process. It's incredibly easy to use, even for a beginner. The clear instructions, combined with the machine's reliable performance, take all the guesswork out of fermentation. I simply prepare my ingredients, set the timer, and let the Luvele do its magic. The build quality is also fantastic. It's a solid, well-designed appliance that feels durable and is easy to clean. The glass jars are a wonderful touch, as I prefer to avoid plastic when making my fermented foods. If you're serious about making high-quality, homemade yogurt or kefir, especially for their health-promoting properties, the Luvele Pure Yogurt Maker is an investment you won't regret. It has become an essential part of my daily routine, and my gut health has never been better. Highly recommended!

The luvele yoghurt maker is awesome
The luvele yoghurt maker is awesome . It’s easy to use and the vegan oat yoghurt I made was amazing ! I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to make their own yoghurt .
The company is super friendly and communication is excellent.
Thoughtfully designed products
As a complete newbie at yogurt making I had to buy all my supplies here and, with some trepidation, trust the included instructions. My first batch came out thick, delicious, and better than expected. Multiple rounds later, I now consider myself a pro, able to appreciate that Luvele's tools and starters are top notch. That, plus their swift service, makes me a loyal customer.
Love my Luvele Yogurt Maker 🩵
I’m new to making yogurt with cultures and wanted a healthier alternative to store-bought products with unnecessary additives. So far, I’ve made two batches—one with whole milk and one with half & half—and both turned out excellent, with the half & half being especially rich and creamy.
This yogurt maker is easy to use and delivers consistent, high-quality results. I’m also considering the all-in-one stainless steel blender, which is appealing due to its plastic-free design.
Overall, a great investment for anyone looking to make clean, homemade yogurt.
Glass containers differ in weight and solidity
Hi,
I ordered the Luvele yogurt maker (with the glass container included) and an extra glass container about 2 months ago. I've realised just now (we're the beginning of February 2026) that actually the 2 Luvele glass containers, although looking identical , have a slight difference of solidity and weight: one (weight 436 grammes) is less solid that the other one (weight 750 grammes). It is a shame...Otherwise I've checked once the temperature to make the sibo yoghurt by doctor William Davis, and there's no problem with it at this level so far :)

I ordered the Pure Yogurt Maker and extra ceramic jars and I make cultured dairy a couple times per week. Customer service is exceptional (thank you Tim). I recommend this company every chance I get.

Every company makes mistakes. What matters if how they handle things when that happens. I had a problem with their customer service the other day. However, their team stepped up and made everything right! It is such a joy to deal with a companies live Luvele!
L REUTERI STRAINS ATCC PTA 6475 and DSM 17938 AND L. GASSERI BNR17 Fast Delivery and greater device than…
Fast Delivery and greater device than ever used especially considering way more expensive experiences. The Luvele has electrostatic control buttons not mechanical "blister switches" prone to damage from fingernails and limited life of mechanical switches / moisture. Next is the design of actual bowl and ease of cleaning / sanitizing the machine as well as bowl and lid. The LID for bowl is not your average material either. It appears to be silicone based and I even use it to handle hot dairy I boil to 195% and hold for 10-20 minutes (half/half) to eliminate "first" batch curd/whey). I have used this Luvele 24-7 since I purchased and received it making 2 qt batches of FIRST BATCH FROM CAPSULE WHEY SEPARATION (syneresis) when making l REUTERI OR
L. GASSERI fermented dairy with half and half OR whole milk and a prolonged 36-hour fermentation, denaturing the whey proteins through heat treatment is a recommended approach. (I HEAT FOR ALL BATCHES CAP STARTED AND PREVIOUS BATCH STARTERS)
Steps to DENATURE Half and Half / Whole MILK:
Heat the half and half: Heat the half and half to 195ºF (90ºC).
Hold the temperature: Maintain this temperature for 10 minutes. I GO AS LONG AS 30 MINUTES STIRRING AND STAY BETWEEN 195-190*F STIRRING EACH CYCLE OF MICROWAVE.
Cool down: Let the half and half cool down to 100°F (38°C) before adding the starter culture. REMEMBER L REUTERI STRAINS ATCC PTA 6475 and DSM 17938 IS COOKED 36 HRS @100*F AND L. GASSERI BNR17 COOKS @ 100*F also.
Why Denaturing Helps:
Heating at this temperature denatures (unfolds) most of the whey protein called lactoglobulin.
This allows the denatured lactoglobulin to integrate with the other proteins, creating a stronger protein network that thickens the yogurt and reduces whey separation. Anyway I have been going non stop and so has the machine
It has a lovely removable power cord too! quite handy.
Another amazing feature and credit to design is that it survived brief power utility interruptions. Not a long one but a 5 or 10 second one and it keeps it's respective programming and keeps cooking without the "having to reprogram when the power blinks in your house". Are there any negatives? Yes, I eat too much yogurt! I was never a consumer of Dairy and L. Gasseri 1 cup a day has helped without diet of exercise reduce my abdominal circumference. L Gasseri is also better than Ice Cream with sugar according to my kids. I will probably order another Bowl and machine in the near future for my disabled son who is in need of this magnificent duo of microbes! Thanks Luvele!
Just made my first Supergut yoghurt…
Just made my first Supergut yoghurt with my new Luvele, and it turned out just like the videos. Couldn’t be happier 👍😄
Use it every week
Easy to use, makes great yogurt. Even made a batch of quark (German cross between sour cream and cheese.). We make yogurt every week. Eat it as part of our daily breakfast. The probiotics definitely improve digestion. Have enjoyed the tips and recipes from Luvele.
Poor quality, terrible customer service
The first one we bought made very good yogurt, so we ordered two more. Those took quite a while to get, as they were back ordered and Luvele apparently had to scramble to meet the demand. The new units finally arrived, but the glass containers on those were measurably smaller and started breaking. When the second broke we asked for replacements, but they said there was nothing wrong and we'd have to pay for them. They finally relented and gave us at least one. We've now had a third break, and will undoubtedly be told yet again that there's nothing wrong with them. It's disappointing to have a company suggest it's our fault, when we know it's not. We've got glass and expensive dishware that's very delicate, which we've used for almost fifty years without a single break.
Very, very poor customer service.
