Bad communication. Terrible product.
Purchased an Oxford Ottoman bed via Robert Dyas online.
Delivery is quoted as 3-5 working days but it took 6 and communication was terrible, only confirmed delivery slot the day before.
Craftsmanship is absolutely dreadful, the headboard has six ugly holes in it.
Robert Dyas told me it would take 7 days to find out if this is normal because they can’t just phone LPD and ask. I would then have to choose a return or replacement after that, then wait another 7 days for delivery/collection.
Then wait another 3-5 days for a refund.
Worst experience for a long time.
Back to sleeping on the floor for a couple of weeks until this is sorted as I don’t have space or funds to buy another one.
UPDATE: 2 weeks later and I’m still waiting for a collection date which should have been this week. LPD told the retailer that the holes in the underside of the top bed rail are to bolt the bed to the wall which is utter nonsense. They then asked the retailer for a photo of the boxed item which the retailer didn’t pass on until I called them. Delay tactics which are making my life a misery.

Delivery arrived earlier than the expected time slot, and that allowed more time to mount it and enjoy it further in the afternoon. Driver was very professional during the entire process, giving a sense of calm confidence and support. It transmitted reassurance that the parcels and contents were ok, even if one box was damaged. Very happy.

Do not use this company!!!
Absolutely appalling company. We bought through a retailer that uses LPD as a supplier. The support bar of the £600 bed broke within a MONTH and LPD are flat out refusing to resolve it.
We initially asked for a replacement part so we could fix it, which is more than reasonable - considering the bar that bent was clearly not right for the bed in the first place (the "supporting" legs didn't even touch the floor). But they have tried to say it's our fault that the bed broke as we should have used non-slip pads (assuming the bed were placed directly on the laminate - but it was on top of a rug) plus, if the non slip pads are so integral to the structure of the bed, why are they not supplied?
After they refused to send the part, we asked for a replacement bed, absolutely no way. Then we asked for a refund for the item that is not fit for purpose... they might as well have called us to laugh at us.
By the looks of other reviews we're not the only ones stuck with shoddy furniture from a company that can't take responsibility for their awful products. If I had known who the "trusted supplier" was before I ordered from the retailer, I would absolutely have steered clear and I urge anyone else to do the same
