Service excellent. Two out of my 3 cats loved it. The one who doesn't like it spends ages picking them out of the mix and dropping them on the floor! But excellent product, although I find it pricey.

Our picky cat loves this food! I am relieved that he is eating in a much cleaner, more environmentally friendly way. Read about the production method, it’s amazingly efficient. Of course, pet food panders to human tastes because the humans control the wallets. Our cat is delighted to eat the insects, so I would strongly encourage you to give it a try even if you the human have a yick reaction to the idea! He prefers this vastly to expensive salmon and tuna wet food from Thrive, which he used to eat. He sometimes ate bugs in the garden which in retrospect was a clue that he might like this.

Product arrived quickly and looks good but, unfortunately, my fussy cat doesn’t like it. She is happy to catch flies and eat them but does not seem keen on the kibble. I will persevere as I have a whole bag

My two cats thought this was disgusting. I put it all out for the foxes and they refused to eat it. A dreadful waste of money.

I was very pleased with the delivery time & quality of the food, unfortunately none of our cats would eat any of it, no matter if I mixed it in with their current crunchies or served it neat. Sadly Have had to give up it.

I bought it for my hamsters to try because they feast on bugs anyway (particularly mealworms) and I thought it would be a good addition to their feeding routine. I mix it with other dry ingredients to make sure they get the most out of it. Nutrition balancing for hamsters is particularly important because you can’t just feed them any junk food. For them, everything you feed them has to be plain with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

My cat has suffered with IBD and colitis for the last 18months while we were trying to find a food that he didn't react to.
He's been on this for 3 weeks and healthier than he has ever been.
I'm delighted with this food and so is my cat!

Arrived quickly and the cats were immediately delighted. We didn't even need to mix in increasing amounts with our existing crunchies like LoveBug suggest. Cats are consumers, and it is really nice to know they're not increasing the meat farming needs of the world, with this product.

My cats ate it a bit just to try the first time I put a bowl down, now they won't touch it. They like to try new foods and I was hoping that I've found something they all like, but they have been refusing after the first bowl was sampled. I end up throwing it and any other dry food I've tried mixing it with into the bin. It also makes the room smell a bit unpleasant. I'm disappointed because I think it is a great idea but if they won't eat it (and I've tried gradual intro etc), then I won't buy it again.

My 2 fur babies just love this stuff ,they can't get enough of it !! Well I must say louie and millie would most definitely recommend it I'm sure !!!! 😉

My cat is fussy (understatement), but with persuasion he is now eating his love bug dry food.

It's always a risk following an ad on social media. In the case of Lovebug, the risk was worth it. Very friendly customer service and the cat food arrived promptly. The cats enjoy the food, so I'm a happy customer.

The cat tried some of it initially but had no interest in it after the initial taste. So very expensive given my cats lack of interest

For me I have to give this a low score as my cat would not touch this.
I tried for 5 days mixing in with the cats usual food,and she would eat around lovebug leaving the lovebug untouched.

I had to update my review for the lovebug company as I have received excellent customer service, with a full refund on my order.
Highly recommend everyone to at least try the food for your cat, because you have the confidence in receiving a refund if your cat doesn't take to the food.

My cats hated this initially, if looks could kill I wouldn't be here to write this review. But I persisted and we are now on the second bag and they love it. It must be good for them as their coats are beautiful. The big thing for me is the low carbon footprint, my next move is to get my dogs onto an insect based food as well

I love the idea behind this, but unfortunately my two cats won't touch your kibble. One of them is quite a fussy eater anyway, but the other one also doesn't like it. I have mixed it with some of their regular dry food and they are fussy enough to leave the bugfood behind. Such a shame.
I do hope people at least give it a try with their cats, as my friend's cat loves it.

Great product name & p& packaging. Arrived quickly. My cat who's a picky eater with a sensitive tum appeared to love the 1st bowl I mixed a little in as per instructions. Then spent the next 3 days chucking up! 1st chuck was a furbal & as it's moulting season that can be a regular occurrence despite regular brushing, unfortunately but then she seemed to be doing regular little chuck ups which isn't usual to her at this time. I've mixed abit in with loads of her previous kibble type & this serms to be working now. Don't think that the product is as good as suggested for sensitive tummed cats. But I like the concept of exploring alternatives to the meat industry as that is so detrimental to the environment. Maybe I chose the wrong time of year to introduce her to a new kibble type?

My cat has never eaten dry food before. I put some love bug into his wet food and he took to it no problem! He still won’t eat it on its own, only mixed with wet food.

Good customer service. Small pieces which suits all ages. My six month old kitten seems to be enjoying it and hopefully benefitting from the nutrition however she eats a mix of dry and wet foods. My other cat wouldn’t touch it. He’s not tempted and remains firmly wet food only!
