DVR's arbitrarily no longer supported
I have had two DVR's the newer's literature advertising it as connectable to the cloud. I bought these used, the recent NOS unopened. My fault for not setting it up sooner. Tech support, hard to understand some at Lorex, another one, an annoyingly pregnant pause after every thing I just said. I am not six figured salaried, I don't have the resources to spend thousands on a cutting edge system. Mid range consumers beware, Lorex may not be an ideal fit, when being told the DVR is no longer supported, even when the packaging indicates there's no reason why it shouldn't!
