That little test you did with the pouch is the best way to prove it to yourself. If the car can't find the key, neither can a relay thief standing outside your door at 2am trying to clone the signal. That's exactly what it's there for. Pair it with the wheel lock and you've got two very different problems for anyone eyeing the car off, which is the whole idea behind bundling them together.

You've actually diagnosed it spot on. Nine times out of ten the sticky unlock is the mechanism sitting under a bit of tension rather than anything faulty. If you ease that pressure off first, a small nudge of the wheel so the lock isn't being pulled tight, then turn the key, it tends to release clean every time. Drew, the pouch catching people off guard is one of our favourite bits, glad it landed that way for you.

You've got the idea exactly right. Keep your keys in it and the signal can't be picked up or copied from outside, which shuts down the relay trick thieves use on keyless cars without ever touching the vehicle.
