It was an acceptable experience
It was an acceptable experience. I was not impressed that the dates of birth of my Beneficiaries were not requested until I pointed it out. After all, it is a legal document. I was also pressurised re the Power of Attorney. I did not appreciate that either. Otherwise, thank you. I’ve received my Will. The beneficiaries are my grandchildren which I pointed out but not mentioned in the Will. I will keep possession of my Will. Thank you.

Quick
Quick, informative and simple. Only criticism is that don't pressure people in power of attorney. Whilst I was insistent that I would be doing my own, felt I was being put off saying it was very difficult to do. I do appreciate you provide this service but only ask once please don't be pushy.

The admin team were very helpful and extremely professional. My only criticism is that the phone call i received was a bit like hard sell trying to get me to give them power of attorney for £300. That was all he seemed to be interested in . The will itself was perfect and i couldn't fault anything else.

All the hallmarks of a scam
I dislike very much the fact that they wanted me to pay £47 to secure the planned call to discuss with a will writer. No credible business should be doing that. When I said that I was not prepared to pay to book, she hung up immediately.

Hi David,
Thank you for your review. However, we strongly refute the suggestion that our business has “all the hallmarks of a scam.”
Our process, including the £47 payment required prior to the appointment, is clearly explained to customers before they book. The payment is not a fee simply to “secure a call”; it covers the preparation of your Will and a one-hour consultation with a professional Will Writer.
Our 14-day money-back guarantee is also clearly explained prior to booking, giving customers the opportunity to cancel within the applicable period in accordance with our terms.
We are therefore disappointed that you have chosen to describe our legitimate and clearly explained process as a scam when the service, payment structure and cancellation policy were explained to you before proceeding.
We take transparency seriously and have thousands of customers who have used our services successfully. Our excellent Trustpilot rating and the large volume of positive customer reviews speak for the quality of service we provide.
We are always happy to answer genuine questions about our process, but we cannot accept inaccurate allegations about our business.
Regards - Secure Legacy
