Plants arrived early and first impressions are that they are healthy

I placed a large advance order for plants last October 2025, which were guaranteed to be delivered in March 2026. I have not received any of these plants, nor have I had any update on delivery.
I emailed the company last week requesting an update but have had no reply.
Appalling service! I will not be ordering from them again. I spend a fortune on plants every year for a large garden so they have missed out on future business.

Fast delivery, well packaged, healthy plants...albeit a tad on the small side in comparison to the last lot I bought (these are half the size) BUT overall 5 star service

I use Lincolnshire Pond Plants on a regular basis, today’s delivery was of 5 large Rams horn snails for my pond and in the past I have purchased plants which I have been very happy with. I would highly recommend them.

The Plants are as described and these were posted in a very good packaging, the postage is good was charged correctly indicating good value for this transaction, the pond plants are in very good condition and of a very good appearance and quality, thank you for the attention to details and effort …….really all very good indeed,..................................................................

I’ve ordered many plants from Lincolnshire pond plants, and every time they have arrived promptly and packaged so the plants are still in a good condition, where needed the plants come in water, or just damp depending on the type of plant. I would highly recommend using them for all your ponds plants, and I will be using them again in the future.

Excellent service and I received my first purchase of pond snails on time as stated. A perfect addition to my koi pond, a natural way to clean up algae and other stuff. They also will keep the water healthy and improve the water quality for the fish.

Quick postage on aquarium plants bought. Quality and condition is top notch and easy to unbag and apply to my aquarium. Very happy, would 100% buy from again and also recommend to others. A+

UPDATED AFTER LINCS PLANTS REPLY
In September 25 I ordered £70.00 worth of perennial plants for delivery in March ‘26 from Lincs Plants. They were offering 1litre and 3 litre plants, which suggested that the latter would be well established, garden ready stock - just the job at the beginning of the season. I decided to give them a go for the first time, for three reasons:
- They were new Gold Medal winners at RHS Chelsea - and given the rigours of showing at Chelsea, they should have the know how to run a business efficiently.
- Secondly, I wanted to support a local company in the county where I grew up, and who are apparently branching out into terrestrial plants.
- Last, they seemed to have a range of plants that I wanted, and at sensible prices [ sensible because they had prepayment well ahead of delivering the goods]
At the beginning of March26 I contacted them to enquire about when i could expect delivery. On 7th, I was told that the order was being picked and the plants would be with me very soon - but not by 27th when I contacted them again having not received my order. This time, I got a Royal Mail notification that they were expecting the plants - nothing
And so it went on - “the order is just being picked”, blah,blah, and with Easter approaching, I had visions of the plants getting stuck in a depot over the holiday. Needless to say, Lincs Plants assured me that that would not happen - it did.
The ’plants’ arrived on the 9th April - theThursday after Easter, in a very small box. I had ordered 36 plants described variously as “1 litre” and “3 litre”. Together they would have required a box with a capacity of 81 litres -this box had a capacity of 27 litres! And then I opened the box…
On the picking list, three species had question marks against them - no plants and no explanation.
There were no plant pots, just bags tied and labelled with plant species. Some bags contained rotting, bruised and damaged plant matter; others had brown root matter that showed no sign of growth. The three hellebores I’d ordered were diseased and mouldy. The 3litre chocolate cosmos plants I was expecting turned out to be bare dry mouldy roots that needed starting off, and certainly were not garden ready. I contacted them and needless to say, Lincs Plants have not responded.
I cannot say just how awful this plant delivery has been. I’m appalled that a RHS Chelsea Gold Medal winning organisation can seemingly fleece members of the public in such a cynical and blatant way. What’s more the nursery is advertised on the RHS website as a [presumably reliable] supplier.
This may be one person’s experience, but the excuses and platitudes, reassurances and sudden silence suggests they are well practiced deceits.
Following their reply, I’m adding my response:
In my letter to you on Monday I set out clearly why I considered the plants substandard, and in reply to your Trustpilot repost, I’d make the following points.
In respect of pre-orders being supplied as bare root - this was far from clear to me as a fairly experienced gardener and plant buyer. In fact, the inclusion of size indicators - 1 litre and 3 litres reinforced my understanding that the plants would be potted, growing, and in the case of the 3 ltr plants, garden ready. I dont believe that this perception is unusual, and in fact this is how RHS Plants describe plants on their Crocus website:
“ 9cm is the size of pot commonly used for herbs.
Herbaceous perennials are also sometimes sold in this size in early spring.
2 or 3 litre
This is the normal size used for most shrubs and perennials. This is an excellent size: plants are small enough to establish quickly, but large enough to make an impact when first planted.”
Whether bare rooted, 1litre or 3 litres plants, there is absolutely no excuse for supplying dead, mouldy, diseased or macerated plants, and by your own self-proclaimed high standards what I received on 9th April should never have left your premises.They were not of merchantable quality.
You acknowledge that your product descriptions could have been better and that you are reviewing this so future customers know exactly what to expect. I did not have the benefit of those clear descriptions - in fact my experience may be the basis of improvements for future customers. I should not be expected to pay for your belated learning. The plants in my order were not as described, and I would therefore ask for a full refund of the entire order and postage without further delay
I notice that the missing items were omitted because you were unhappy with their quality . This is extremely hard to believe because the quality of the stock that you did spend was frankly abysmal and unfit for sale
I require full repayment of the entire order cost - £82.00 returned to my Paypal account by close of business tomorrow

Hi, you responded to my last review with "In regard to your refund, this should have been processed automatically for any unavailable items, but I will personally check this for you now to ensure it has been completed correctly". I still haven't received my refund, nor a response to my email about it, and we're now 4 days later. Plus there was nothing in my review that identified my order so I can't help feeling your words were to pacify rather than to address the concern??

Really easy to order, fast delivery, everything arrived perfectly packaged and nothing was damaged. Good selection of plants in my order too. Hopefully they do well in our tank!

Plants arrived sealed in a plastic bag, looking extremely bedraggled and sad. Hardly a green leaf on them, all stem and dirt.
I'll drop them into my pond but I honestly think they won't make it. Waste of money so far. Even if they do recover it'll be a couple of years before any kind of viable plant establishes itself.
Definitely not value for money.

Plants arrived in good time well packed and on good condition.
We can't wait for them to flower.
