This is a lovely lodge on a great site in a fantastic location. The lodge is lovely and has all you need, it is on a lovely site which has a bar and restaurant- food lovely and they deliver to the lodge. Location is great for Winderemere, Ambleside etc with great walks direct from the lodge. Owner is very responsive to any questions/queries and is extremely helpful. We have been to the lakes many times and this lodge/location is a firm favourite- highly recommend

This has been the best winter holiday and would definitely do it again, cant wait re book, lodge was perfect, the walks .people food and scenery. 🥰🐕😁

We recently stayed at a Parkdean limefitt lodge was clean and absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful time, but one moment really stood out and deserves recognition. Our staffy Lyla, got a bit too excited after spotting some nearby sheep and managed to run off while getting buckled into the car . As you can imagine, we were absolutely frantic with worry.

Thankfully, a staff member named Sydney immediately got help and managed to calm me down. Without hesitation, she alerted the rest of the team and left with her dog to search, and soon enough, all available staff members were out helping us search for Lyla. Their care, speed, and genuine concern were beyond anything we expected and could ever thank you for.

Thanks to their quick response, Lyla was found safe and sound not long after. We’re incredibly grateful to Sydney Jowett – she turned a potentially distressing situation into a testament of how much the staff truly care. I cannot thank Sydney enough and how much it truly helped.

We booked out Hollybank Lodge for a week in the school holidays. Wow, what can I say, everything you would need for your holiday is well equipped in the lodge as well as the holiday park itself. There's literally walks all around the Troutbeck area and it's 4 miles to Bowness and Windermere the main hub of the Lake District. Ambleside and Grasmere are 10-20 mins away depending on traffic. So much to do from the lodge I cannot write it in a review. The owners of the lodge were superb and great communication throughout. I thoroughly recommend the lodge and the park. So good, we will return.

Stayed in hollybank for our silver wedding anniversary with our two dogs, holly and Georgie. The lodge is immaculate, everything you need and very comfortable, highly recommend

Our 5th visit to this lovely site, scenery amazing, lodge very nice, but!!! Kitchen was not the cleanest, but rectified within 30mins, couple of screws missing out of sliding door handle and rail up the steps was loose, rectified with in an hour, main issue only 1 toilet roll and two toilets, no hand soap, washing up liquid, dish cloth, bin liners for small bathroom bins, all provided where ever else we have been, we always take our own, good job we do, could of done with a mop and bucket also, glad we didn’t have a dog with us due to all rain

We’ve just returned from another wonderful stay in Hollybank at Limefitt park. The lodge is fully equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing family break.
The booking process is easy and well managed and the lodge is spotless and was all ready for our arrival.
Limefitt is a wonderful site which is quiet and has a nice little pub on site with a pool table for the kids.
We are very much looking forward to returning.

Our lodge was excellent, very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay .
Lovely views from the lodge ,great wrap around veranda, which was safe for our dog and granddaughter.
The site was clean and well maintained,great playground and dog walking area .
All the staff were polite and friendly.
Definitely Great Value for money ,would highly recommend Limefitt for a family holiday .

I have just become an owner of a beautiful refurbished 3 bedroom lodge on this site I cannot fault the service I have had from Becca. She has guided me all the way through helping with all sorts of issues which arise when making a large purchase. My nephew is the first to stay in the lodge for his honeymoon, which I have named Jacmar after my parents Jack and Marjorie who have both passed away. She has even dressed up the lodge with balloons, banners and flowers to welcome them. All above and beyond expectations. I love Limefitt and will be spending much more time there in the future. If you are considering purchasing you will not go wrong here.

Just got back from the lodge after a lovely Monday to Friday break.

Everything was first class and we had the best week.

The lodges are perfect in every way. We will be back next year.

We had the most lovely stay at Fellwalker Lodge last weekend, 16th to 19th December. It was late when we arrived and the lovely owner Sue had messaged to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed as it was snowing. We stayed put for the whole weekend which was bliss. I would not hesitate to recommend this lodge and Limefitt Lodge Holidays.

We recently had the opportunity for a long needed holiday after three very difficult years. We had to find somewhere where we could take our ageing border terrier as she doesn't handle separation from us very well.
On the recommendation of friends we booked Fellwalker, and are very happy that we did.
The whole trip was superb. On the second night after our arrival we sat in the lodge eating the biggest chestnuts we have ever seen, drinking red wine and listening to ghost stories on YouTube, set in the local area. Next day I drove us down the road to see one of the settings for these stories called the Kirkstone Pass Inn.
If you wanted to repeat our experience, get the chestnuts from Booths in Windemere, visit the Kirkstone Pass Inn around dusk to set the atmosphere, go back to the lodge and have the chestnuts and red wine listening to "The highest inn in England" on YouTube by Tony Walker.
Sadly, at time of writing, the Kirkstone Pass Inn is closed but walking around it will set the atmosphere.
Will be booking it again in the new year.

Our second stay at this lovely lodge and we will be back. It is so comfortable, clean and well equipped and in a wonderful area for walking. We also loved The Haybarn. Really lovely staff, especially Mandy, plus good food. Thanks again Sue and Steve.

An excellent location and good facilities. particularly the on site pub which is dog friendly and serves a good meal after a day walking! The lodge is as hoped, modern and full of the necessities and a comfortable place to be in.

We have stayed at Fellwalker Lodge many times and have just spent our second Christmas there. The owner Sue goes to a lot of trouble to make the lodge so welcoming at Christmas with a tree, lights and decorations. There is everything you need for your stay and the lodge is spotlessly clean and toasty warm. It now feels like our second home. The booking process is always easy and personal and when we had to cancel a few times because of restrictions previously we were immediately refunded. There is lots of helpful information on the website and we followed some of Steve’s walks this visit. Our dog Molly also loves it and is made very welcome in the Haybarn pub on site and also in the two local pubs within walking distance. We have also stayed in Sue’s other lodge Hollybank which is just as well maintained with the same homely furnishings. Another lovely touch is that if you have stayed there before you get a return discount which means we will be back again and again. Thanks again Sue.

We had a few issues when checking in with a group of 6. Barbara went out of her way to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Exceptional on her problem solving and amazingly proactive. I’d return just to have the service from Babs again

We Absolutely love Fellwalker Lodge.
We have stayed for 3 years running, just booked October this year and have already booked 2 weeks in 2022.
The location is perfect for walking and for touring the Lake District.
We could spend a full week taking different walking routes straight from the lodge door, let alone the short drive to great walks from Patterdale, Ambleside and around the lakes.
Limefitt Park is a well maintained and tranquil site with 3 good pubs in walking distance.
The lodge itself is clean, well equipped and a real home from home.
The owner, Sue, is excellent and genuinely cares about her guests.

Well if you go to the lodge your in for a delightful experience, clean , everything available to help ur holiday along smoothly, sue is a lovely woman who owns this lodge , easy to find and there’s even a pub with fab food on site . What more do u want

Stayed for 4 nights in April 2021. I had never stayed before and was unsure how it would be - but it was fantastic! Tip top clean chalet, car parking right beside the lodge. Chalets are cunningly spaced so you feel privacy even though, obviously they are all in a park. The hillside means that mot chalets have a lovely view in 1 direction or another. The park was not noisy (ok, April, quite low season) and you can walk right out of the back onto the fells. Buses stop outside as well if you want to do a one-way walk. The check-in was great - totally hands free. No queuing up for ages and waiting for your key. We needed maintenance for a broken fridge door at 1 point and they came straight away and sorted it. First class service.
The only downside was wifi and mb signal which was non existent/patchy for 2 days out of 5. We were told this is a regular problem. Difficult if, like me, you need to check work emails etc. Otherwise Limefitt was perfect and I thoroughly recommend
