He just.a racist and wants his own kind. l don't care l never wanna work with someone like that. u don't know how to be a manager. and treat the employees right. who ever you hire won't last long to work there. Everybody STAY AWAY FROM GOOD LIFE TIME FITNESS AT MARKVILLE MALL. This manager dozen know how to run a fitness club. l hope it shuts down for good.👎

Lifetime is a MONOPOLY SCAM with BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This place has become a JOKE, TOTAL JOKE. They used to care about their patrons. Tonight, they sent an email revoking me senior father who was grandfathered into our membership (after my 66 year old mother passed away) and sending an email they were revoking him for a "non-compliant membership." My father has become endeared by the trainers there having lost 80 pounds working with them after my mom passed. The email I received in the body said it was from Darius, but the email was Anaryiros and the signature was Jerry the membership concierge at Burr Rudge? Being in marketing this makes me laugh because it also shows how little care they put into sending anything to their customers - because they DON'T CARE. It's a reflection of what a joke this whole organization has become - right from the top. They raise prices on the daily, water is constantly dripping in from the ceilings, when the hallway isn't caving in at the entrance during the winter, and they aren't even offering half the amenities they used to in the locker rooms! The classes this summer have also been cut in half, even though dues keep going up. Now this, revoking a membership via email at 9pm of my senior father. I thought big pharma was the devil, but know now it's Lifetime who has such a monopoly over this area in regards to the gym market, people don't feel they can join anywhere else to get the same amenities. I pray for the day when a great gym comes and wipes this behemoth of a customer service nightmare off the radar. Then, maybe they'd get a taste of their own medicine - treating their patrons like a fly feeding off the dog crap on their shoes.

Lifetime fitness faculty of operations…

Lifetime fitness faculty of operations team has very poor management. The manager for that department is very disrespectful because he provided me with a letter of termination without specifying the reason as to why I got fired. He accused me of doing things that are not true. I am not satisfied with the employees at this job and I won’t be attending lifetime anymore due to the poor work environment.

My 4 year old granddaughter recently…


My 4 year old granddaughter recently visited me and I took her took her to my Burlington Lifetime club. Since they have a kid space I thought what a nice date. I would work out and she could play, then we could family swim. But they informed me that she could not come in because I am not her parent. IN what world. I belong to several clubs and this is new to me. Moreover, it appears at this club that they just randomly decide when guest can come which means she can not visit the club on Saturday or Sundays. When else would my grand child visit. To make be feel better they explain that other clubs have better guest policies. Mind you I pay 379/month. I feel so lucky. Me and my 4 year guest find the closes club 9 miles away in Medford and drive there. They inform me they don’t accommodate kids. But you can go to a club in north shore which is 50 minutes away. Because my grand child is crying and wants to swim, I decide to go. Since it is Saturday I am sitting in traffic for 30 minutes and still have 30 miles to go..so I abandon the trip. I cannot be more disappointed in Lifetime and this very non customer friendly policy. As I was sitting in traffic—I thought what would a traveling mother do? I can’t wait to find a better option. I hope future entrepreneurs search this site. This is very you find ways to enter into a market. Find a better way to treat their customers —we will be there.

Honest Review Of This Gym

I honestly give this gym a 2 star rating not because of the location. It's the fact that every location has different pricing and yet they are not a franchise whatsoever. They charge based on the area of location which makes no freaking sense especially when you are corporate. Honestly it should be 1 price just like other gyms are not over pricing based on location. Big F rating on price for this gym.

Bad Experience

At the pool, the instructor mentioned she would be testing my daughter’s swimming skills. After conducting the test, she allowed all the girls at the party to enter the pool except for my daughter. This was surprising since my daughter has completed all her swimming levels. When I requested a retest, the instructor declined. As a result, my daughter felt excluded, and we decided to leave immediately. My daughter’s feelings were hurt due to the unprofessional manner in which she was treated. We had been planning to become members of this gym, but we have decided against it. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this gym.

The management team ruined LT reputation & ethics

At Lifetime Mississauga the management cheating , they required their instructor asked the members to post a positive reviews . Anyone who wants to know the level of professionalism and how skilled are the instructors just visit their instagram. But unfortunately I can’t say the same about the management. The worst one you can find actually, they completely ruined what Lifetime Mississauga used to be . The best one of all lifetime in US/Canada. I’m a member of lifetime since 3 years now, and last week I enrolled and paid a camp for my 9 years old daughter. Lifetime offered for this day camp by age group so I booked for the age group 9-12 years old. When I came no kids of her age group booked, so the activity was supposed to be done was cancelled and so I get back home with my daughter and I asked for a refund. The kids academy manager Emily Rourke declined my request but things got interested when the GM, Erin Allen emailed me and asked to meet me. No it wasn’t to fix the situation it was to explain I made an infraction because she considered my language was offensive by saying she behaved like lifetime was dead broke as she fought for a $85 services I paid and she didn’t provide. So instead of fixing the problem and value my multiples memberships I have with Lifetime she choose to find a false reason to avoid the real topic. Jayzzzz look how she behave dead broke for a customer who spend several thousand of dollars every month in the club …..(Clearly a behaviour that completely ruined Lifetime reputation) and it’s about a $85 dollars services they get paid for and didn’t provide 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Then she warned me she accepting only positive reviews and if I make any negative reviews she gonna terminate my membership!!!!! She just tried to control my freedom of speech which is regulated by the human’s right which is enforceable worldwide including Canada. So I have to cancelled my membership to a club I absolutely love to be able to speak up !!!! Like I said in my email this situation gonna be reported . Stay tuned for the next …..

One of the worst membership and…

One of the worst membership and customer service ever. I have been a member for over 5 years and just in the last few months they raised my membership 3 times and of course they absolutely don’t care if you cancel because thats what they actually want. It’s so easy when they have no competition here in San Antonio. If you are joining now keep in mind that they don’t care and they will keep raising those fees every few months

Life time fitness

Life time fitness. Discriminatesagainst disable people with service dogs. Their people aren't trained properly. This is not the 1st incident. We were were assaulted and When we were behind a locked dressing room door. Their associates banged on the door, yelling at me very out. They yelled through the door that I could stay but my dog had to leave. That was after the management said they would have her leave us be too get dressed. This was only a portion of the terror they caused me. They followed us ( my service dog and i) gym. They mad us feel threatened, fearful and attacked. Them to disguise there action. They had me escorted from the club. They fused to watch the videos. The district manager said for what? These people caused us severe distress and all should be reprimanded.

They at the nerve to call me after suspending my membership looking at me for an excuse for using the family/ handicap dressing facilities. This women said they're were 2 sides to every story and she wanted mine. What crap!! They were looking to cover the clubs illegal actions. Lifetime Fitness owes me the excuse,

Has anyone reading my reveiw had problems being mistreated at these facilities??? Please like my moments. They need to make changes to the staff they employee

The company is making bad choices-…

The company is making bad choices- increase price, remove access to many things. Keep dirty gym.

Ask guest to own a phone or they cannot join. 😂 what’s so hard to give a guest a free pass without a phone?

It’s like they ask more from us and make the service worst.

I understand inflation— you should increase the price — not remove things while increasing price. W t f

Don't expect to find something you left.Red Bank/Middletown…

Just joined the new Red Bank/Middletown NJ gym. I love everything about this place. It's busy but under control. I love the cleaning staff. My only complaint is there's no lost and found. Came back the next morning after leaving my $40 water bottle at 10pm. They threw it out. There was another guy at the desk and he said the same thing happened to him a few days prior. Then this morning a guy was leaving and said his jacket that he left yesterday wasn't there this morning. They throw everything away every night no matter what they tell you. They should hold things for a week at least.

Not a safe gym for female members.
I recently had an unfortunate experience at Lifetime Wall street where I encountered harassment from a male member. Despite reporting the incident to the gym staff, the response I received was disappointing and insufficient.
This particular male, stood over the top of me while I was using 1 of several free squat machines in an attempt to scare me away. Not only did he refuse to leave me in peace he used profanities in an attempt to continue pressing his aggression. I reported the situation to the staff, hoping for a resolution and support given the matter was recorded. However, the actions taken by the gym fell short of addressing the issue adequately which should have at the very least included contacting me. Bad enough that a male felt brazen enough to act this way, even worse when other males fail to act, effectively protecting him and encouraging similar behavior in the future.
The gym management should to take harassment complaints seriously, thoroughly investigate such incidents, and implement stronger measures to create a secure environment for all members. Additionally, improving communication and support systems for members who face such situations is essential.
Please think twice before considering Life time Wall street if you prioritize a gym environment that actively addresses and prevents harassment for woman.

Life Time Fitness Discrimination

The Life Time Fitness, Ellisville, facility is clean and well equipped. The aquatic facilities are great.
But, you had better enjoy it while you are young. Once you turn 65, they don't want you there anymore!
I know it is hard to believe a public gym can get away with age discrimination in today's world, but Life Time has figured it out. Once they realize how old you are (if over 65), they give you the option of severely limited access hours, or raise the price astronomically, or invite you to go elsewhere.
If you have a Medicare Advantage plan that used to pay your dues, they especially don't want you there. Apparently, Old Folks interfere with their "traffic flow" through the gym.
It has been a very disheartening experience for me. I like the facility and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. I have appreciated the opportunity to use a first class facility close to my house. However, having been turned into the target of discrimination by Life Time's management has been a great disappointment. I must take solace in the knowledge that what goes around, comes around - and they will get old one day too.

Mean girls at work- I was fired for…

Mean girls at work- I was fired for giving a 30 day notice. I had shown up at every shift I was scheduled and even covered some of my co workers shifts. I stayed after up to an hour and took 0 breaks. No good deed goes unpunished. To boot- they actually kept my money for membership fees with no intent to return them. Will be pursuing this with my CC company.

Their website pretty clearly said there were services available at locations that were not there when I joined.

They are trying to force people to pay extra by having a truly obnoxious cancellation policy. I don't care that it is stipulated in the absurdly long terms that no one ever reads. Service providers should engender trust, not a feeling of abuse.

They are very comfortable preying on their customers.

Discrimination against children with disabilities and no accommodation

They have a policy in place that actively discriminates against children with disabilities and this policy was never shared until today but is being fully enforced. My child has autism and despite multiple notifications of this and requests for them to call me down if he’s getting upset (because he is unable to regulate his emotions which is a big part of his diagnosis) have failed to do so. In fact they have made me feel horrible by saying that “parents were complaining about his behavior”. As if having a child who is not nuerotypical isn’t hard enough now you are going to have staff tell in two separate instances that parents basically don’t like that he’s autistic?? Deloris the so called manager who seems more concerned with staying stationary and stuffing her face instead of actually walking around managing refused to make any accommodations at all. This, as well as this policy, is actually a direct violation of ADA according to my attorney. Additionally, their policy is not something my child is even capable of following (again never mentioned until today - not at sign up nor during the two times I had to pick up my son early for his behavior). Deloris also was rude while I was speaking to her regarding this and took a call while I was mid sentence. She didn’t even apologize despite me audibly saying that was a rude thing to do. They are not licensed nor do they have anyone one there trained to work with any child with any disability yet promote on their website “an inclusive environment for all”. I’m paying $40 a month to not even be able to have my child use the location because he is now suspended for 2 days (per the policy) for having autism. We are now having to drive 45 minutes to the North location where my son has no issues at all as opposed to going to South which is 12 minutes away. At this point even if they did remedy this situation I still would feel completely uncomfortable having anyone in the South location anywhere near my son at this point. As a former employee who started with Lifetime 20 years ago and has had several great experiences at many locations this is a huge disappointment, concern and has soured the entire experience. Additionally when I asked for the number to corporate instead of given the number in MN where Bahram sits out if I was just given the South’s 1-800 number.

My 8-year-old son and I were taking a …

My 8-year-old son and I were taking a shower in the family room at Lifetime Fitness around 7pm and were traumatized by a male security who was a former police officer, loudly knocked on our glass shower door while we fully naked and aggressively told us that I was not supposed to be in there. I replied that my son was in the shower with me. He then waited for us to come out and entered the bathroom to explain why he banged on the door. I tried to accept his apology but later realized that if he was listening at the shower door, he would have heard me and my son talking.
The next day my husband called GM to explain happened and he asked me if the security touched us and because he did not touch us, there was no grounds forn termination. Then I asked if I should cancel my $ 400-a-month membership he replied "what's my member number". I told him that we were comming to speak to him in person. When we arrived he was introducing himself to another member in front of me but he realized I was the person, he told me to make an appointment to speak to him. I was outraged.
We no loger feel comfortable with this business because of the disregard for women and children.
I feel when he saw an Asian woman and a black Man that he disregard our membership to the gym. There was no de-escalation process knowing we were upset and needed an explaination or apology for what happened. After speaking with corporate office, they denied the the security banged on the door and that we disrespected the front office. #Karens
