Deluxe 2 steak and Old peculier pies. Disgusting!
Dear oh dear,
No steak just inedible gristle...The worst pie I have ever tried.Should not be for sale and Shire Foods, the manufacturer, should be ashamed of themselves.
DISGRACEFUL TREATMENT.
Your location Edinburgh.

Update. Today 12/12/2022. I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT LIDL ARE DENYING THIS INCIDENT TOOK PLACE. BELOW IS MY REPLY TO ABOVE EMAIL. THE BAREFACED CHEEK OF THE STAFF TO BLATANTLY LIE.
PLEASE DON'T SHOP HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH!!!.
I knew that you Scummy Bs Would Try Wriggle your way Out of Doing the RIGHT THING. But I have an Email from the guy who Referred me to you. Stating that they had Secured CCTV. And that is in Writing. And I DO Have an Independent Witness. When She ( 1 of the 2 LIARS ) Smashed into me. I Screamed Out, and Swore. He Came Across, and Asked if I Was Ok. As I Said No. He was Concerned because I have Already got Damage to that leg, and I Was in AGONY.
Seeing as You, or they HAVEN'T GOT ANY DECENCY. MORALS. RESPECT. I Will Speak to my Solicitor, and You'll hear from them.
Your Clients have BROKEN the LAW. As the Accident Report Book should have been Filled in. The CCTV Supposedly SECURED, And the Fact they are Committing Perjury by lying.
I'm Also Going to Ask my Solicitor if I Can Prosecute her for Common Assault.
Absolutely Ridiculous Decision.
Scumbags at THEIR WORST.
Thanks for NOTHING

Supermarket
Joseph Thompson. Clean store, Still could be Clearer, with the layout of fresh produce. Staff friendly though. But, Not So on the floor. They Never ask if you want any Help. UPDATE. I went into this store yesterday, and I was looking for sausages. I felt a tap on my back, Followed by a Full Trolley Jack of Pallets of Food. , And She Rammed Straight into my Right Leg. I Screamed Out in Pain ( I have Fluid in my legs, Which leaves me in Excruciating Pain ) , She Stopped looked, and Proceeded to Hit my Leg Again, and She just carried on into the Warehouse. I Spoke to the Manager, and her Attitude Was Just as Bad, So she said, she'd Speak to her.. she Disappeared, and that was it. So I Carry on Shopping, but In Considerable Pain. I'm in Agony, and Not thinking straight, So put lots of Frozen Food in my Trolley ( Stuff which Will Go to Waste, as my Freezer is Full of Some of the Food I bought) . I'm FUMING, and I Ask the Cashier to get the Manager, as I Want to Make an Official Complaint. So I Wait Ages, and When she Eventually gets to me. She's with this Other Staff member, and she Asks What I Want. Unbelievable, She KNEW what I Wanted. I Asked for the Staff Members Name, and Address. She went away, and Came Back with the Weekly Shopping Brochure, and the Address in a Little Corner on the Inside Page, but NO Name. Her Attitude Was an Absolute Disgrace. Customer Service. My Backside. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT LIDL AGAIN.....
Hairs in food

This was our first time user and last time we found you had no choice of items in the store frigefreezers was practically empty price was more expensive than Aldi.

Went to Lidl in Glenrothes to get some items for a barbecue at my sisters. Very polite and friendly person on the till whom engaged in conversation with my little boy. After a till error I ended up paying quite a bit too much for shopping though didn't actually click until after at barbecue when checked digital receipt. Went back in to same person on till explained and lady was very professional and understanding all got sorted as well as genuine apology. If only politician's had the same high standards.😀
Okay....How susceptible am I?
Okay....How susceptible am I?? Fancied a steak and ale pie and I thought I'd try Lidl's and selected their 'Deluxe' range of pies....believing the advertising...and trusted the honest!!!??? opinion of lidl's to get me to part with my money...??.Just cooked (according to packet instructions) lidl's 'steak and old peculier ale pie' ....the gravy was tasteless with no other ingredients except very tough beef!? and grisle...horrible..please lidl's be honest and considerate when promoting your products, I haven't got money to waste on promotional lies...and if you're looking for a good quality pie....don't buy this one.
It's only a LIDL Fiddle
It's only a LIDL Fiddle. I recently noticed anomalies with reduced items such as bread where the reductions were not made at the tills.
Not saving receipts, as it was only pennies, this continued. A short time later I purchased a free range chicken at a reduced 30% off. I checked out at the tills and went to my car. Remembering the previous anomalies, I checked the receipt to find that the chicken was charged at full price.
I returned to the store, behind a huge queue to have this rectified. Days later, I saw some reduced price pizzas at 70p. Not consciously checking the labels, I picked up 5 and with other shopping went and checked out. On getting my receipt, something kicked in and I could not fathom what.
I stood at the till, everyone watching and was asked by the checkout assistant if everything was OK. I still could not put my finger on it, said yes and went to the car. I went home and scrutinised what had happened. What was bothering me was that each pizza was 99p full price, they had an orange reduction label on reducing each to 69p.
It had a further green reduction label on at 70p???????? Forgive me but, I cannot believe this has only happened to me and I have been targeted. In just a few weeks, maybe pennies/pounds on most items multiplied by the customers in store multiplied across the country, then the anomalies rate horrendous. I say this as especially in these dark days of economic crisis where every penny counts for many families, LIDL has fell below any moral standing.
I messaged them and their first reply was meaningless - internal rectification. I warned them of their deceit and I would expose them as they did not seem to care. The second reply by letter was not much better, a 5 pound voucher as a silencer and nothing much more.
You are usually asked by the check out if you want a receipt, always get one as without it you can be scammed with no proof of it.
I would encourage all those that rely on such price reductions to severely scrutinise there receipts. LIDL has lost my trust as a respectable and honest supermarket.
Lidl products may be cheaper compared…
Lidl products may be cheaper compared to other supermarkets but their fresh produce are at the end of their useful life. Have bought many fruit and veg and the day after purchase they are mouldy. I have written to customer service at Lidl but they have not responded.

Bought one of their 'green' sacking shopping bags.

Perth store was amazing today. Sean the store manager was so pleasant and helpful. Thanks for providing the best croissants i have ever tasted.
3 years warranty is a Joke
April 2021, I purchased a polisher with 3 years warranty on the box!
Started it only to be sure it works.
In beginning of May 2022 I was about to polish my car door. Halfway through the unit made loud bang and it went in slow motion. Went to the store with the box receipt...and was told in the book of the product (that you can't read at time of purchase as the box is sealed) is explained that if in 12 months...if more..., So they refused to take the product back/refund it! Back home read the booklet, nothing like that, called the CustomerJoke (not customer service no matter what you going to hear) and I was transferred to a 3rd party provider...not as described in the BOOKLET. So next time, just open the box and read the stupid booklet. If you do not like the Terms& Conditions of service do not buy it!
Really disrespectful !!!!
Really disrespectful !!!!
Went this morning to Lidl in Patchway and the scanning wasn’t working so a VERY RUDE assistant came without saying good morning and I said “this is not scanning can you please help” and he immediately replied “Its not scanning? Why is not scanning? See!! Is scanning now!” and went off like that….very disappointing that LIDL employs people that are not happy doing their job and myself as a regular costumer pays the price for it…..this happened on 27.04.2022 at 8.30 am His name is Steven…Lidl Patchway - Never go there again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not fit for human consumption
Purchase a joint of beef which even after slowing cooking in the oven the dog couldn’t chew. Had a response to my online complaint 9 days ago and I’m yet to receive my refund. Beef wasn’t fit for human consumption even at a cost of just under £12!!! Not the first time I have had cause to complain about the quality of the meet, but it will be last !! Poor quality and even worse customer service, they don’t even give you the courtesy of a reply!!
Lidl Plus winning coupons are not catered for everyone
Using the Lidl plus card. You must spend a certain amount of money in order to get an online scratch card and/or coupon. I spent £75 on this shop. The item I won was 35% off pack of pork sausages. I am vegetarian and also Muslim. I know the prize is nothing much, but it’s still something I get for shopping at Lidl. Unfair that I can’t even use that. They could have at least offered vegan/vegetarian options as prizes. The prizes are not catered for everyone and that’s a real shame. I might as well shop at Aldi who doesn’t give anything. I didn’t get anything I could use from Lidl anyways.
We have a new Lidl opened up near us so…
We have a new Lidl opened up near us so decided to try it. The shop is well laid out and the staff are helpful. The vegetables were disappointing and the ready meals were very poor. Bread was OK and wines were nice. It’s back to Aldi for us even though it is further away.
Chef Select Steak & gravy pie 200g
Steak? - just gristle & gravy + pastry. Not recommended

I have been using the clubcard at Lidl…
I have been using the clubcard at Lidl for some time now and I have to say it is one of the best things I have purchased in!!
I have spent thousands of pounds at…
I have spent thousands of pounds at this store, enough is enough. I’m sick of buying s@@t disguised as food. Rotten onions, stale fruit which in the past I’ve let go. But after Lidl ignore complaints that’s enough! They believe they can serve up s@@t & treat customers the same. Arrogant beyond belief!
