What a great service from Social Energy, as always. I had an issue with online connection and followed the instructions they sent. I followed them and asked for confirmation.
Within a few hours I had the confirmation and when I asked a follow up question it was answered in minutes.

It was a long journey owing to the fact my generation struggle with technology and having to rely on the younger generation of my family to fix things for us team work got us there.
Excellent speedy help as always. My app was showing my system was disconnected and I soon got a clear explanation with video about re-pairing it. I can now see what my panels and battery are doing again. If only we could still get our energy from this company. Sadly missed.
Had to contact Social Energy due to overcharging from the grid and they have managed to guide me down the right route to get a new USB LAN Adapter installed and then force two firmware updates onto both the battery and inverter which will hopefully resolve the issue!
Kieran has been very helpful with prompt instructions about resetting our solar panel system and connecting it to the internet. He has always responded quickly to my queries so that I feel that there is support at hand whenever I need it.
They spotted a disconnection of my system before I did, Notified me and followed up confirming reconnection and checked all was well in a fast and efficient way ensuring I was getting the best out of my solar system.

Kieran and his team got down to watching the performance and ultimately corrected the fault. All working fine now. Thanks Kieran.
Although the solution to my issue was not what I was hoping for, Kieran dealt with me professionally and went above and beyond to at least make the bad news a little sweeter for me. Thankyou.
Had an issue with my system following a power outage. Having worked with Kieran to find out what the background issue was, we finally managed to identify and bring the system back online. Unfortunately, changing broadband supplier, my holiday and the cold snap all delayed the final resolution, but that couldn't be helped. Very impressed with how Kieran managed the issue.
Have been connected to social energy for just over a year now. Lost over 6 months of credits due to the terms and conditions of changing battery system. Ended up cancelling my contact with them due to this. However recently my battery's have become very cold with the weather and we're not functioning correctly. With a quick email and a quick call back from Kieran I was able to reactivate my optimization quickly and am happy to say it has fixed the issue. Thank you for your help
I was unable to get any data on my social energy app. Emailed the company and had very quick, polite, professional responses. It was good that I did not have to email different people, this way there was no need to keep explaining the problem.
Emails very clearly explained what data/actions were needed from my end in order to try and diagnose the problem. At the end, no need to have anyone at the propertu. Everything was solved remotly. Very efficiently.
There have been a few changes at SE recently. One sad change is they have stopped supporting their desktop live monitoring app which I think was better than their new phone app, which was fiddly to install.
However Kieran walked me through the installation very professionally and also organised for a free engineer call out to swap out a faulty dongle and to re-pair my senders and receivers too.
It was all quite complex but thanks to Kieran's diligence, I am fully back up and running and have also been credited some funds for the downtime where I was unable to receive credits against the battery KwH that I can export to SE. So all in all a job well done. Many thanks!
Social Energy contacted me to prove me that I am wrong and attached cost data in £ not real kWh data in their defence. Even if they would have provided the kWh data I will never be able to compare the data they provide with the real data generated by the system because I do not have access although I bought and pay for the system. Only thing I know is with the Android app open all day my solar system was producing more than 1.5kWh, my house consumes during the day 0.2kWh may battery is 27% but I am exporting 1.3kWh to the grid which they are paying 5p/kWh. After sunset (solar panels not generating) my battery is charging from the grid, paying 33p/kWh and latter when "grid needs more electricity" is exporting from my battery and Social Energy is paying me 5p/kWh and my electricity bill is higher in July and August than it was in February. I will advice all Social Energy customers to check how their AI is working. You will be shocked how much can you save by powering down and unplug the device from internet.
Simply awful.
Emails ignored, phone numbers not working. Same issue for over 6 months and nothing done about it.
Zero payments received.
Simply disgusting service from start to finish

Social energy have always been here for us their help and advice has been excellent. I was with them for my solar energy as well as my gas and electric. Unfortunately as times are at the moment they are not able to do our gas and electric anymore but hopefully they will again in the future and I will definitely be back with them. Excellent company!!!

Had a problem with the RS485 communication and the app not showing usage and statistics. Kieran sorted parts and then sent instructions for changing over. All sorted pretty promptly and happy with the service.
