First time at Harrogate branch this…
First time at Harrogate branch this morning , and absolutely loved the breakfast sausage and egg bun and coffee too was great , staff friendly and polite . Well put together bun and taste was great . Loved it
Disgusting food - wouldn’t even feed it to a wild dog
Awful, disgusting food. I’ve been to the Camden branch about 6 times over the last three months but today is my last day ever. The chicken burger I had was atrocious and had the machine printed my receipt and I was nearby when I ate it, I would’ve got a refund. I’ve kept going back because I assumed it was just a bad day. Oh how wrong I have been! The burgers, wraps or rice boxes are consistently vile. Chicken is slimy and grey!! Taste is awful. Bun and accompanying salad fall out as soon as you unwrap and horrible sauce/mayonnaise ruins an already disgusting excuse for food. Potato chips are cold and taste like the binned leftovers of a children’s school dinner. Avoid avoid avoid.
Bought a Jerk chicken wrap take away…
Bought a Jerk chicken wrap take away from outlet on corner of Strand and Lancaster Place. The wrap was so badly put together it fell apart when opened and contents fell on desk. No lunch and a mess to clear up. Need to train the staff better.
Fantastic staff
Fantastic staff, food is clean and is always reliable. Couldn’t ask for any better, is definitely my go to restaurant/drive through.
Disappointed
The food flavouring was lovely. But the food came cold, even though me and my mum was eating in the shop. But was too hungry to complain.
First and last time I will be dropping…
First and last time I will be dropping by Leon. Yesterday at Brent Cross I eat the most soggy bun caused by disgusting white sauce on top of a cold tasteless burger and tomato. One bite and my bun fell apart in my hands, then covered with sauce. I waisted more time cleaning my hands 🙌 than enjoying my burger bun. I won’t be going again to Leon . Very overpriced and bad service. I left Leon hungry. McDonalds Happy Meals burger 🍔 is better value for money and tastier burgers.
Visited the London Bridge branch
Visited the London Bridge branch. Porridge in Leon is terrible. It’s gluey, sort of dry weirdly, unflavoured, and topped with a couple of splodges, one of raspberry jam and a closely neighboured one of almond butter and this is called ‘ruby red’ porridge. They could cook it for a lot less time, add spices or honey to the porridge mix, and top it with a good quantity of fresh fruit. Bought in a ‘meal deal’ at £4.99 with a cup of filter coffee. I added buttered plain toast which is very basic but the best tasting thing here. - I can only imagine the cook who prepared this would much rather be working somewhere that isn’t around food. The service was ok though.
Overpriced and not very nice... At all
Overpriced. Certainly not "fast" food and the food? Disgusting. Luke warm, slippery, chicken burger; soggy waffle fries. My daughters 10 nuggets? Binned (a snip at £10) "mummy, why are they slimey?". McDonalds should be given a Michelin star if this is the competition.
Kind and caring staff
I called into the Leon in Harrogate to pick up two hot chocolate drinks for an elderley couple who had been without power for over 7 hours. There was no hot chocolate available but ordered 2 lattes instead. While chatting to the staff, I mentioned what they were for and was immediately offered 2 lattes and 2 teas free of charge. I tried to pay but they would not accept.
There are still good and caring people around, they just don't get mentioned.
The drinks were enjoyed and the couple had their power back on around 10pm that evening.
I tired the new Harrogate store
I tired the new Harrogate store. The worst fast food ever, overpriced, undercooked and cold food. The great pretender of fast food, trading on a heathy option and turning out a shocking result. Will never visit again.
Excellent costumer service and food.
SIMPLY AWFUL
Would have preferred to give no stars! Decided to give Leon a go yesterday whilst waiting for a train at Paddington. What I was served i.e. Bubble and Squeak wrap did not resemble the picture highlighted above the counter or anything I have ever seen or eaten. Filling dry and indescribable and the wrap could have been stodgy paper. How anything like this can be served for £5.99 I do not know. It's shameful and a disgrace. I shall definitely not recommend Leon to anybody.
I Visted the Canon Bridge branch and…
I Visted the Canon Bridge branch and ordered a love burger with a halloumi as a side.
I was given a halloumi wrap with a side of halloumi (disappointing) - only realised when I got back to the office to eat and had no time to go back. Was looking forward to trying the burger all day!
I left their customer service this gentle feedback who replied and said they would send me a voucher to compensate but then never came back to me.
First and last time eating at Leon
First and last time eating at Leon. Had lunch at the Angel branch in North London. Chicken burger in a horrible, shiny bun which had a screwed up, shiny plastic appearance. A small, thick piece of chicken sat in the middle, leaving the edges bare. A lot of rocket was dumped inside (that's what it looked like!) with a slice of cold tomato and soaked with a very runny dressing which ran onto the outside of the bun making it difficult and messy to eat. Horrible, cold and tasteless. And what on earth are those cold, rubbery waffle- like things they call fries. They are not fries, Leon, and you shouldn't say they are. Whatever they're made of, they're horrible. Oh, and the service was off hand and disinterested. But the hot chocolate was good!
Change in quality of food and service
Used to get good quality food and professional services.
However very disappointed with the quality of food and behaviour of the store manager in Westfield when quality of their food was bot as expected.
Rank
Rank. Used to be great but I just had the worst chicken burger of my life at Leon Notting hill. Grey, rubbery, cold. Actually made me gag! Couldn’t finish it. Never had that before. And the bun was super soggy, not sure what from. Tomato? Sauce? All v liquidy. The fries were cold, floury and mushy. For just over £10. Never again. Diet Coke saved me.
As a life time fan of Leon I am hugely…
As a lfe time fan of Leon I am hugely disappointed by their move to ordering via screen rather than with a person at the till.
On recent visit I ordered a bacon muffin and was disgusted to find on biting into it that it contained ketchup. I complained at the till (where the four staff stand idle while waiting for frustrated customers to battle with the ordering machines ) to be told that if I hadn't wanted ketchup I should have gone to the till to tell them that after placing my order on the machine. Just let people order direct with the staff and get rid of the machines AND don't put ketchup in bacon muffins- its a disgusting idea.
There is no sign of any ketchup on the photo of the bacon muffin on the machine .
I have tried to give this feedback via your feedback survey part of the Leon website but there is no bacon muffin listed on the options.
Impressed
Impressed. I entered into the Piccadilly store this morning and I was greeted with a warm welcome from the lady behind the counter...good start! I had a sausage and egg bap and a latte. Both items were lovely. Will be going there again in the future. Well done Leon.
I have always loved Leon food
I have always loved Leon food, and when I gave up meat and asked for my favourite chicken dish with a veggie alternative the team we’re incredibly helpful and it was delicious.
