Greatly improved service department experience
We have had a few build isues with our Swift Basecamp over the last 2 years (which is not the fault of Leisure World) with varying levels of service from LW. However, on our latest visit for the second service and further warranty work, they have given the level of service expected, and even exceeded it by dealing with another issue raised that day. Thank you. I would especially like to thank Sophie who has always been helpful and professional despite not always having the service staff, and Kirsty who was very helpful with earlier warranty issues.

Just picked up our caravan from Catterick again!
It has been back to factory at swift for the past few weeks for repair.
The service we have received from one particular member of staff at Catterick has been excellent. We want to give a big thank you to Sophie who updated us when the caravan was being collected and returned and was professional is everything she does, We know things will get done when Sophie is on the job. Well done! Keep up the good work

Thank you to Andrew, the new service manager at Leisure World, Catterick for resolving an issue with our caravan that had been dragging on for almost a year. Prior to Andrew starting there we felt like we weren’t getting anywhere fast but he addressed and resolved the issue quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending Leisure World now and will be returning in the future for all our caravan needs.

From a Dismally Declining Service to Better Times
From a dismally declining service over the last few years, this was a massive improvement getting my caravan serviced this year.
They now have enough courteous, interested, trained and knowledgible service reception staff and are answering the telephone promptly. Lets hope they can get even better.

Replace door blind
Habitation door blind replaced as broken (motorhome out of warranty). Appointment time adhered to and quoted up to an hour labour time.
Job done and only charged for a 20 minute labour cost. Excellent to know that only charged for actual time taken to fit blind. Well done to all your staff who were all very pleasant, friendly and attentive. Used cafe plus purchased items from the superb shop.

Excellent service
We needed a service done on our caravan quickly to comply with the terms of the warranty. The service reception team went the extra mile to organise this for us. On arrival we were met by Sophie who dealt with us throughout and with friendly knowledgeable efficiency. The service was carried out well and at a fair price. What more could we ask for. The shop and the cafe are excellent too.

Motorhome fridge problem, following recall
Took several months, (June - October) to sort the problem on my motorhome, however this was eventually solved successfully. I must say that each time I visited the shop, though my motorhome was problematic, I always found the staff very helpful and cheerful, especially Sophie, who was always polite and diplomatic.

Exceptional service.
From the initial phone call for a rough estimate for our old motorhome as a trade in, to collecting our new Burstner was a very pleasant and professional experience. We arranged a time to view with Josh, and all was set up and waiting for us. A good walk around with demonstrations and explanations given when required but not forced, then time alone to view with no sales pressure what so ever.
Once we had decided to purchase, a deal was done and we were very happy how this was handled, excellent communication through out.
On the day of collection, again all ready for us, a thorough demonstration accompanied with videos sent to my email made our collection a doddle ( we even got 10% off at the shop ).
All in all a top 5* experience and a special shout out and thank you to Josh for your patience and understanding. Mark & Tracy.

Warranty work
We recently took our Motorhome to Leisure World to have some warranty work carried out. The service team were all very helpful. We opted to wait for the repair so we took advantage of looking around the well stocked shop and had some lunch in the cafe, which was well priced and very nice food. Our experience at Leisure World was excellent.

Non existent after sales service
Couldn’t do enough for us whilst buying our new Motorhome. When we picked it up we were told to make a snagging list which we did. We didn’t have a lot of issues but Unfortunately we have only had one of the problems sorted and now they won’t even return our calls. We have found this company extremely unprofessional. If we had read the reviews we would have bought from another supplier
Great customer service
We have had issues with our motorhome which we bought new in March 2025. The issues we had were very minor but needed sorting. A massive thank you to Sophie for taking ownership of all of the problems we have had and she made sure that the repairs didn’t interfere with our booked holidays. She has kept us in the loop with every repair and made sure we were happy with everything by sending us videos before we picked the van up.

We attended leisure world at Catterick…
We attended leisure world at Catterick on the show weekend in September.
There was a great atmosphere with the brass band playing and inflatables for the kids.
We were assisted by a very helpful lady called Rebecca in the shop whilst hunting for some bargains.
The complimentary pizza in the terrace was amazing. There was plenty to go round and didn’t have to wait long for more.

Excellent local restaurant
Have been to the Terrace a few times and have always had excellent service, the fruit scones are delicious and always presented beautifully, its also a really lovely coffee, have noticed that the shop are adding in a lot of different items so I always make time to have a wander around, it's great that it is so local to me
