I did get an attorney
I did get an attorney. However, he was very expensive. He took the case but would not appear in court. I am going to the case pro se. I am not an attorney. I eventually stopped communicating with him. He charged me for the time that I spent with him. I was charged a hefty fee for replying to his question about whether he received his $3,000.00 payment. On the other hand, he was a great attorney. He was very knowledgeable. He got me started on the right track. I had to learn very quickly to represent myself. So far, I am winning, and I will win this case.

No solutions as promised, don't waste your time
Just another place promising solutions but filled with lawyers that don't want to help unless you are a whale, they won't treat you or your case like a human with variables but rather a cold "I don't do xyz" instead of offering an explanation, assistance and solutions as you were hired to do, you're dismissive, arrogant and unprofessional. I submitted inquiry with a company to be matched with a lawyer who could handle this case, so if you can't, rather than stating what you can't do, why don't you try to assist as promised when signing up for this company? Like pulling teeth with these people if you don't have a million dollar case to flash in front of their eyes they won't treat you with respect or as an equal. Because the attorneys here are paying to be matched with clients and only want top dollar leads and to get rid of the others as quickly as possible. Was referred to Thomas Baker and when I received the email from the company after there was no possibility to leave a review, it inquired if I still required legal assistance after responding to the email survey I had met with someone, so it matched me with the same lawyer who was pretentious and unhelpful and turned his rude nose up at me and my case. Also inquiring on personal, irrelevant questions. I guess you aren't deemed important enough if you don't have a huge settlement you won't be treated with respect or as a human, you will be talked down to sadly and not given any additional options. Don't waste your time on this lowly service and scammy lawyers...

My husband almost got arrested because of this site and their lawyers
This company hooked my husband up with a lawyer that refused to go to his court dates, took his money and refuses to give it back which is theft and will not make contact. My husband almost had a warrant put out for his arrest because this lawyer skipped three court dates. We got a letter in the mail stating that in 3 days my husband would have a warrant put out for his arrest. We contacted the lawyer. He didn't contact us back until 2 Days later and told us that he was just going to pay the ticket that there's nothing he could do about it now because he had missed all the available court dates for it and that he would refund us our money that was in December. This is the middle of April. We have not heard out of the lawyer even though we've tried to contact him and we have not received a refund. I would not use this site because they will only give you lawyers that will rob you and potentially get you arrested

LegalMatch is nothing more than a Scam
LegalMatch is nothing more than a scam...lawyers do not sign up! I signed up and have been with the company 2 months and was promised 4 to 5 clients a month and I have received none. They say that we have to follow up within 2 hours and always say that's the reason I haven't been getting clients, but that's completely false.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
This month was my last with LegalMatch. I paid almost $6,000 for a year and got ZERO clients. People using LegalMatch are really just looking for pro bono attorneys. If you’re an immigration lawyer, stay away. The company promised me at least 4-5 clients per month, but that was a lie. Based on how they reacted when I raised the issue, I’m convinced they knew it was a lie all along. Once you sign the contract, there’s no way out. They’ll threaten you with a collector. Don’t waste your money.
Adding my response to Jesse here since the platform does not allow me to reply below: The claim that I did not follow up with the client is completely false. Not only is this statement inaccurate, but making such a misrepresentation publicly is highly unfortunate.

Poor Communication from Legalmatch.com attorney
I would like to share my experience with attorney David W. Bass from Georgia. I engaged his services to represent me in a board complaint and paid a retainer of $2,500, which we agreed to pay in installments.
Regrettably, I did not receive any communication from Mr. Bass for over a month. During that period, I was able to secure the assistance of another attorney at no cost. Upon informing Mr. Bass that I would no longer require his services and requesting a refund, his response was dismissive, as he stated, "Is it your belief I work for free?"
While I appreciate the value of attorneys' time, the absence of communication and updates during our collaboration led me to feel that minimal progress was being made on my case. I am disappointed with the overall level of service provided, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mr. Bass or Legalmatch.com

I contacted Legal Match on 28 January 2025 with a request for litigation assistance in a case involving US$100,000 and with a flow-on effect loss of US$3.33 million.
All I received thereafter were empty promises.
Is this the best that a law firm agency in the USA can do for a prospective client?

Very difficult to contact with Legal MatchMatch
I hired Lawyer Kevine for my late husband's Estate, I would be able to provide my feedback about his services once the case is closed. My first experience was a one-time payment without a subscription to their membership for quarterly payment. I thought if I subscribed to their membership, it would be cheaper and easier for me to get an experienced lawyer. I subscribed to their membership a month ago, but I could not get to any lawyer yet. The previous immigration lawyer they scheduled for me was in the same state but too far from me, today I scheduled a second lawyer and he is from out of State. How do I trust a lawyer from out of the State? I have been trying to contact LegalMatch on the phone to change the lawyer, but there is no way to get someone on the phone to speak. It seems to be a ghost company, it always goes to voice message. I have left voice messages, but nobody from LegalMatch returned my call yet. We should not rely on such ghost sites and waste our money.

I hired this lawyer from legal match…
I hired this lawyer from legal match named Miguel Torellas for fence boundary dispute and all he did was take my money everytime I need to speak yo him. It's been 4 years and haven't hear from him. I will be reporting him to the bar association. Very disappointed in the no service he provided. Worst lawyer I ever dealt with. Never again.

A bright light in a broken legal system of landlord vs. tenant rights.
Mr. E. Hartman Esq. is the first person I have encountered that listen to my issues and had the willingness to advocate for the landlord in Baltimore City’s legal field. That alone was worth 5 stars. The system is woefully imbalanced in the tenant's favor.
