I have been on my Learn to trade journey since July 22. Be aware before you sign up.
The Smart Charts Platform is a platform that is generally very good and has a lot of potential. Whilst you begin the learning via videos within the Smart Charts platform, this is not the platform used for learning in the Unlimited Wealth Program. The company acts like an education provider but if you are familiar with education providers then be prepared for something very different. There is no structured curriculum, which given the topic, is broadly understandable, however there are fundamentals that are being delivered and built upon during your journey.
Transparency is an ongoing issue during both the sign up and during ongoing student administration which can make you feel like your being scammed. However, as a provider of FX Trading it has lots of potential. Initial sign up to SmartCharts itself includes 5 basic strategies and FX trading only, but after that there will be additional upgrades to monthly subscriptions required for more advanced strategies and access to commodities. You will have to be the owner of your education journey as there is very little guidance even with mentoring it can be ad hoc. There are no key learning outcomes articulated for online seminars so you need to blindly sign up to different classes and work it out what they are about and who is actually a decent presenter of information. There is lots of room for improvement with delivery of the information.
Do I think it was worth the amount of money spent, at this stage no.
Having said this, I am personally committed to my own learning journey and I will be making the most of it. Like I said, the platform itself is not bad and it's important to just keep focusing on the basics which they are very good at providing in a structured and professional way. Full transparency, i was offered an additional trading strategy, if I wrote a *good* review. I have tried to provide feedback internally, but was dismissed. This is not good practice if they are committed to business improvement.

Great training and a good platform
They provide a lot of training for all levels and really drive the concepts home. Smartcharts software is easy to understand and perfect for beginners. The cost is a bit high so make sure you commit yourself fully to get your money's worth.

Very impressed with LTT
So I have completed the "Lifestyle Trader Event" (LTE), the "Learn Forex Course" (LFC), and have now commenced my journey with a two year commitment to Learn to Trade's package deal.
I have come from a personal history of exploring Trading as a lifestyle over the last couple of decades, and through self education and purchasing various courses over the years, have gained a significant amount of knowledge which I brought to this course. Whilst a lot of this event (LTE)was for me quite basic, I let that basic content wash over me and focused on the areas that were specifically of interest and would reveal to me if these guys knew more than I did. They did!
I found this event informative, the success stories were interesting, and some interesting results were apparently being achieved. LTT outlined the basics of their strategy, how they manage risk, how their software supports strategy and risk management, and how the software saves time in picking positions and managing entry and exit to the markets.
The last point here was what really caught my attention. LTT's software was a breath of fresh air as it was obvious to me that it simplified the entry/exit/risk management, and the functionality of the software was straight forward and time saving. I was convinced from this event that it would be worth my while exploring the next advertised event in order to find out more of what was on offer.
This brings me to the "Learn Forex Course" (LFC). This was a 3 day event and was attended by myself and 20+ others. It cost money - talk to LTT about this - but for me it was money well spent. The course expanded on the snippets given in the 2hr course to quite a bit of detail. I could see:
- the soundness of their approach,
- the reliability of their system
- the depth of knowledge of the team behind the screen
- as well the extensive training that was on offer at the next level.
For those who are new to this as a career, you could complete your involvement with LTT at this level and take A LOT away with you - from the basics to a fairly advanced/sophisticated level of trading. You would know all you need to know to read the markets and you would have access to their software package/platform, which I now believe is one of the best on the market.
For me, I wanted to take this further. Much further. The LFC is enough on it's own, but I want to accelerate my learning and outcomes which is why I've made the decision to go to the next level.
This has involved a substantial financial commitment, but in discussion with my significant other, I compared it to returning to Uni and retraining for another job, and it is comparable in cost. Plus I get to do this at my own pace, in my own time (ie no wage loss), and the returns are potentially far greater.
So I have been involved at this next level for 1 month now. I have at my fingertips access to multiple courses and live events being run across multiple days in multiple time-zones. For example there are 8 weekly courses being run in Australia that I can tap into either live or in replay. They not only deal with the live market but reinforce the learning to date. There are likewise a similar number of courses on offer in 2 other time zones, which I can attend if I so choose. On top of that there are fortnightly and monthly courses designed to progress you towards your ultimate goal of becoming a professional trader. I have done one for these in Jan (Beginner's Bootcamp (BB)) and will be re-attending the 2 BB on offer this month (Feb). From my time at Uni I know how I learn best which is being able to watch and re-watch content, so this set-up suits me. Also, if I miss a course I've enrolled in, I can watch the replay (though I understand this is time-zone specific ie I can't re-watch outside of my Aus timezone).
There is also one-on-one coaching which I am taking advantage of. So far I've only taken up one session of this, but it was worthwhile.
The two year plan laid out in front of me is very structured and can be accelerated based on competency. Again a big tick!
The customer support has been excellent too! Emails answered promptly. Phone calls have been very professional and helpful. Plenty of notice for upcoming events and courses.
So that's my two cents worth on LTT. Overall I strongly recommend them if you're looking for assisted acceleration towards a professional trading career (this is my objective and why I'm partaking). Out of 6 weeks trading I'm down overall, but looking at it week to week, I've had some good performances like the 1.3% return in 2nd week, and across 3 weeks got as high as 1.96% (after going from +1.3%, down to -2.3%, then back up to +1.96%). This is all on a demo account whilst I refine what I've learnt and develop consistency. I look forward to much better results.

LTT are the real deal
I've, been training with LTT for over 12 months now. I was unsure if I had done the right thing initially, but now I know, and I can assure you these are people who really care about the students succeeding in trading.
They care, and they try very hard to help you succeed.
Of course they cannot guarantee your success in trading, no one can, and in my view you need to avoid anyone who promises otherwise. But I believe if you put in the hours of study required, the hard work, and the perseverance, LTT will get you across the line, if anyone can.

I'd previously traded options and only…
I'd previously traded options and only lost money. I had no idea how to go about Forex trading and was interested, but rather nervous about it. I discovered Learn To Trade just after I had retired and could spend the time not only to take the three day initial course but then to practice. The course and the follow up are excellent. I have since done another three days with LTT and with practice my confidence has grown. I'm now keen to set up a live account and start the real thing! The Smartcharts software is brilliant.

The beginner bootcamp training reinforces the basic strategies that L2T introduce during the first three day training. This simple but powerful technique really galvanizes the do's and don't of Smart Charts and should be considered a must. The SmartCharts platform is user friendly with its built in courses to get you started on the basics of how to trade. Your monthly subscription allows you to ask questions to help you along the process.
Online training is in abundance and one on one coaching is excellent to guide you to trade correctly to hopefully develop an edge to make profits.
