I received a refund from a retailer on the 9th of April and I still have not received it from them , I’ve emailed literally everyday, lucky if I get a response at all , or I get someone that does not bother to read the correspondence, I would steer clear , the only reason I still have the app is till I get this refund, then it will be deleted

Best this you can do for yourself is AVOID. Laybuy will repeatedly try to scam you. Full details at the end. This review is anon so the company cannot retaliate since they have my personal information.
The customer service ranges from non existent to barely understands basics of their own job.
The app is not at all intuitive and the user experience is awful. Trying to browse a store and make a purchase is incredibly slow and painful due to a terrible in app browser you are forced to use to make a purchase.
Numerous instances of incorrect billing force customers to seek refunds over and over, which can take weeks because the customer service is so poor you won't have a response for weeks. And if you didn't screenshot your checkout they will try and gaslight you into believing their overcharging you is correct. To get refunds when I was overcharged I had to send screenshot of checkout, cross reference with the order number and send them the maths of how 6 times X totalled more than the cost of my order.
They told me this happens frequently so I dread to think how many people have been ripped off by them keeping quiet about the errors they consistently have.

I was very happy using Laybuy for my large purchases. But now Amazon and all the popular stores are no longer available. Laybuy it's so disappointing. When or ever are these stores coming back. I'm not able to complete my home and garden in the time I wanted without the 6 weeks payment.

Victim of crime gets no support form Laybuy Holdings.
Third Trustpilot Review on being a victim of crime, with no support from Laybuy Holdings. I have no account or association with Laybuy Holdings, however my personal information has been used fraudulently. I advised Laybuy Holdings ten weeks ago to investigate and remove all fraudulent data/searches/accounts. I am now seriously concerned that this fraud combined with Laybuy Holdings potential mishandling of some of my personal information; doesn't comply with GDPR. I advised Laybuy Holdings of the potential GDPR breach four weeks ago, you've guessed it; still no response. No wonder Laybuy Holdings featured recently on Watchdog, don't expect any level of customer service any time soon.

"I strongly disagree with the decision to remove Amazon and eBay from the app. Other companies on the app are either selling their products at three times the original price or offering useless and low-quality items. I used to love this app but this decision has changed everything. The fact that there has been no official statement from the app owners is unacceptable. As customers, we deserve to know what is going on. We are not asking for any personal details, just some clarity on the situation."

CLOSED MY ACCOUNT WEEKS AGO. i suggest everyone else do the same.the app exclusives aren't coming back their just waiting till everyone has paid off their debts. Companies House says they have accounts overdue, all existing customers waiting for the app exclusives to return are just bait for fraud and the customer service from what I've read is below appalling. I will no doubt receive a generic message under this review but having already closed.my account I can sleep easy knowing I won't be the victim of a fraudulent transaction..if you no longer can use the app for the shops you once used over a month ago , you should really think about closing a dead app full off credit. Also I wanted to add my dad was a victim of fraud with this company last year so I speak from a personal point on this , there are rumours of the company being up for sale and apparently its only the UK that has lost thier app exclusives I don't understand why they are still receiving 5 star reviews they won't let you pause payments or increase anyone's credit limit.. best to close your accounts now before they just disappear with your personal details and unused credit.

Total fiasco of a company
After a complete fiasco trying to sort out payments that never went through but charged me, then sent my account to debt collectors I finally got sorted even though my app still says its with collections. When I emailed to ask why I got a random email from Mikara saying that it was my fault for not paying my bill. If you actually answered emails in a timely fashion it wouldn't have escalated this far.

AVOID!
Let me just say, I'm not a customer. My company are one of their merchants. That will soon change and we'll be moving the klarna or clearpay!
We sold an item via laybuy and didn't receive any payment from laybuy. We had to follow up with them on email (yes even merchants can't get in contact via phone with this company!) A day later they tell us that there was an error with their system and that they are backdating monies owed to them!
Apparently we owed them money from 6 months ago and they are just randomly deciding to take it now with no prior warning!
What a terrible company, as a small business this can badly affect us but they don't seem to care and getting a reply from them is painstaking.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Great customer service
Laybuy customer services have been really understanding when I had a large unexpected bill. They have allowed me an extension on my payments and really put my mind at rest about any additional fees.

I am very disappointed with Laybuy as I us to shop loads of time but now all the shops that I used has gone, it has been gone now for months and I have emailed several times now about this and no joy all I get is there trying to sort it. Please if these stores aren’t coming back please have the decency to tell people not lead them on this is very frustrating.
