Bupa patient, was told by them this would be the easiest way to retrieve BHS records for pre-authorisation. Lalu contacted my GP who said they would send them to Lalu within 4 weeks. 4 weeks later Lalu emailed me saying the GP surgery would email them to me so I could email them to Lalu. I didn't get anything for a week, so contacted the GP surgery and Lalu, couldn't get help from either. Still not got them, really bad.

As a Bupa patient, I pay for private healthcare in the hope of accessing faster care when it's needed. Bupa required a pre- authorisation form and I was advised to send it to my GP for completion before my referral can be made. My GP told me that they use Lalu for this type of request and sent my details to them. I was contacted and asked to pay £48 for the service, unusual I thought,but I'm desperate as my health condition is causing severe pain. I paid on 3rd July and received a confirmation email. As I sit here today on August 3rd, Bupa have still not received the report from Lalu and my referal has not begun. The delay is solely with Lalu and I fear that my health is further compromised now. I don't know how to advise anyone to avoid using Lalu as its NHS accredited so the GP will continue to use them. Very disappointed.

We've been using Lalu/Medi2Data for about four years now, mainly for medical records requests, and it's been one of those tools that just quietly does its job well. What used to take us weeks manually now turns around in a matter of days, and that shift happened pretty much overnight when we brought them on.

The thing that's stood out most from my IT viewpoint is the backend. Their systems are solid and the API documentation is genuinely good, which isn't something I say often. You can tell the product owner actually understands the space and what we're trying to do, rather than just selling features.

Customer service has been reliable throughout, and data availability is just as strong. After four years I've got no complaints. I would recommend.
