The worst mortgage servicers are ....lakeview loan care have messed up my escrow account over the years for various reasons. They put that i wanted to pay down on my mortgage over $20,000 curtailment fee and they had to do an investigation and an agent had 2 screens open and made huge mistake on my acct that was intended for another customers acct!
They dont care, and now more mistakes w them blaming my homeowners insurance and telling me i owe extra for an escrow shortage that again was their mistake!! Stay on top of your morgage servicer!!!
You have to call and question everything they do!! U will get all sorts of answers, and none of the answers are the same!! Very dissapointing and time consuming:{

They lied n did what they wanted. I wanted refinancing at a lower rate, told me I had to take out equity. Told them no, they did everything anyway and now trying to make me pay 700 for an appraisal they wanted n told me the VA would pay for it. They gave my credit card information without my consent to pay for it. I already paid for a pest control inspection that they said i would be reimbursed for. Im a service connected disabled vet and a single parent of a 6yr old on a set income. Told them no n they went forward anyway. So dont trust nothing they say n give nothing to them. Sad part, they charging me for things i didn't authorize and I never got a copy of pest control or appraisal.

No. 4 times. One star. Total lack of professionalism. No concern for accountability

Recently had my mortgage transferred here. They sent me a letter saying I hadn't paid for over 9 months with the last mortgage company, which is not true whatsoever. The lady on the phone was EXTREMELY rude saying I "should've just made a payment like most people," when I couldn't make a payment for a while due to the transfer. Honestly, I may look into seeing if I can have my mortgage transferred elsewhere. Only been a month with this company, but I will not be dealing with bold faced lies and rude customer service.

My experience with Lakeview Loan Servicing has been unbelievably negative. I was sent emails and letters telling me that my insurance had expired and that they would have to purchase insurance on my behalf, after I'd renewed my homeowner's insurance as I always do. I have had the same insurance as long as I've owned my condo and it renews prior to expiration every year. I called in to Loancare, who services my mortgage account for Lakeview after I wasn't able to upload proof of my renewed insurance on their website due to some sort of bug. I was told to email a specific email address with the proof of insurance and I did that right away on May 11th. On June 30th I received an email stating that they had purchased insurance on my behalf. I called in again and after over 45 minutes of being lectured on why insurance is important, then put on hold for "2-3 minutes" over and over again while the agent "looked into it", I was told that the insurance I'd sent was for the previous year. I was looking at the sent email with the proof of insurance letter showing I have coverage through April 23rd 2027. I asked repeatedly to speak with to a supervisor and was told over and over that no one was available. I finally hung up after 47 minutes of being put on hold, called back again for the same run around, being told that I need to talk to their insurance, even though I never chose to be a customer with their insurance. I feel like this must be a scam. I was told that no one has access to the email address I sent my proof of insurance to and that they don't see anything uploaded to their website even though I have a screenshot showing I successfully uploaded the document. I've asked all 5 agents I've spoken to for another email I can forward the original I sent on May 11th to, but no one has an email address to do that. I've spent hours trying to get this resolved and have still had zero assistance.

I have been with this company for 3 years in a VA product. I have been trying to refi as rates are coming down. When I refinanced, with the original lender so I had history, I was charged $22000 for my fees in IRRRL. I just spoke to a different lender who told me my fees should have been 3-4000. I did cut my payment and rate but imagine what it could have been had they not taken advantage of a veteran. Thank you for your service. I will overcharge you by 5 times as thanks for defending my freedom. DOOM ON YOU Lakeview. You should be ashamed and veterans beware.

My loan was unfortunately transferred to Lakeview/Loan Care for servicing and ever since that happened I receive constant emails about HELOCs and today I also received a call informing (not asking) that a loan officer would go over my mortgage benefits. When I said no that I had never been bothered prior to moving with them they hung up on me. Extremely poor customer service and worth ethic. I dont know how they are still in business because when I looked them up to leave this review, there was terrible reviews all over.

Customer service was great. Everyone was polite and friendly. Answered all my calls and questions.

Marc and team were great to work with, we accomplished everything I needed to faster and easier than I could have expected.

The entire team was very friendly. Tamara E was a beast with my loan and I'll highly recommend using her. She's a very strong communicator and will do everything in her power to get you the best apr% with her team.

Jon Ulliman was great at Servicing our loan for our refi on our current home. It was a very smooth and fast experience.
We would highly recommend Jon and would use his services again in the future.

Both Louis and Daniel were supporting and very helpful. They made the refinancing process smooth and easy. Highly recommend services from these gentlemen!

Make it sound very easy and simple

At times it was very frustrating. The portal to load documents to was easy, but I was always being told by the employees that they couldn't find or couldn't access the documents I loaded. Which required me to load them again or send them directly to the email for the employee. This happened way too many times. I was even told by one employee that this is normal for them. I think someone should require more from the IT department to fix this issue.

Just really straight forward and easy to follow

We had such a good experience with our first Mortgage, of course we wanted to use Lakeview again. Everyone step was smooth. Great communication! Excellent customer service and a great rate.
