Good internet, Gone Worse. Bad Customer Service now in Hell. Issue resolution takes Forever, Once their systems experience a system downtime, they'll switch off their contact lines, let you figure your shit alone.
Explain to me how speed bandwidth changes from 700mbs to 20mbs for a week, and the Customer service people will keep repeating it to your Spine, "We see everything is good, From our side".

Poor connectivity with their useless wifi, like my money is going to wasteee, and yet I paid for the wifi. DON'T get this wifi; this is like Zuku's twin in terms of connectivity. Don't even get me started on their customer service, SHITTY asf. Mahn, y'all can do better; you have a lot of bad reviews. Might as well close that establishment!

With my $19k stem cell purchase I was promised that after 6 months if I did not experience any improvement I could receive a second round free of charge. Well, 6 months have passed with no improvement and I cannot even get them to return my call. Surprise, surprise!

Had a problem with no hot water from cylinder.
Konnect was here within 30 minutes and left one hour later - all fixed.

First of all all over the website it says you can you can access them 24 seven to get help. That’s a lie. There’s no way to get in touch with these people. They’ve charged my car twice. Then they disable my website trying to sell my domain and they won’t call me back they won’t fix it. I don’t know what to do here. I’m about to sue I’ve emailed them 30 times in a week. I’ve left 40 messages. No response. Do not use this company. Do not use this company. It’s a fraud and a scam.!!

Very POOR internet connection...when subscribing to the wifi they promised 20+Mbps per device but now the wifi only stagnates at Kbps...this isn't enough for streaming let alone working from home....i'm deeply dissatisfied and would not recommend this wifi to anyone

Excellent service from Tommy Peter and Johnny today. Great lads. They faced into a disgusting job and I cant recommend them enough.

Konnect is ALOT cheaper than other satellite services that I know of that cover Tanzania.

It provides about 1 to 1.5 Mb/sec of download speed most of the day - which is sufficient for my purposes - research, writing.

After 11pm the internet speeds up considerably. On my first night of measuring the speed, it reached 39 Mb/sec at 11.39pm. And remember this is satellite, not landline, so this is good.

HOWEVER, this speed is probably too low for watching videos, movies or doing large downloads during the day. Youtube is slow loading, and movies can have intermittent pauses. This is understandable.

Though you cannot compare these speeds with landline speeds, since landline internet is so much faster, yet Konnect offers , in my mind, a valuable service when infrastructure collapses or when politics curtails internet access, or when infrastructure is simply not yet in place. I forgot to mention, when there are power cuts. In Africa, power can shut down daily, and that can affect the local telecoms transmitters which means no internet. But satellite IS IN SPACE, so is unaffected by local power outages. You will need your own power supply still, that can supply 500watts. A large capacity battery will do the trick. You charge it when mains power is working, and it powers the modem when mains power is out.

Last year, unknown military severed several undersea cables in the Red Sea, cutting off all landline based internet in East Africa for a week. In such instances, it is vital to have a line of communication to the outside world.

I will recommend Konnect, not for the leisure user, but as an important backup and supplement to landline internet. And as a sufficient service for a researcher and writer who uses mainly written media - rather than video.

I pay 70,000 Tsh per month. My plan is certainly keep Konnect as an option in Africa. However I may consider a landline service for its greater speed and resilience during normal times.

I am a heavy internet user, since I am a writer, researcher and computer software developer.

I am from the UK living as a resident in Tanzania, and I congratulate Konnect on bringing affordable satellite to Africa. Its pioneering. I hope they can create dedicated packages for their leisure use clients - who probably need a more expensive package that can provide 5 - 10Mb/sec. I wish them well.

I am currently keeping a spreadsheet of download speeds on an hourly basis, as a means of diagnosing best internet times. I recommend others to do the same.

I am using sppedprobe.com and fast.com to monitor speeds. So far I am pleasantly surprised that Konnect is providing the speeds they claimed.

I have experienced good customer service, with prompt call back by engineers, and I thank them for their speedy response (within 1 hour).

Customer service is also good. I correspond with them by whatsapp. They reply fairly quickly by text and are helpful.

If I allow my subscription to lapse, then it can take a day or two to get reconnected, but that is often because it is a weekend, and the office is closed.

Anyhow, I am grateful for this service. I look forward to improvements.

Every time I renew my subscription, the internet goes down and I remain unconnected for at least three days. the customer service team are very slow to response and make false promises. The network goes down every other week. This is the worst internet company. You need to do better!

Worst internet experience I’ve ever used you buy two or more devices option and connects to only one & calling customer service rep they do nothing to help just giving you helpless options I hope y’all are happy with all the money I’ve wasted with you guys with subscriptions that end up not working & expire after all wasting airtime talking to agents who don’t want to help resolve

One of the worst Internet providers. No regard for their customers and the customer service is just poor. They keep giving people falls promises- it has been two weeks now without Internet and when you call nothing happens. Can't recommend to anyone

I'd not recommend.its the worst internet ,high cases of poor internet connection and the customer care takes forever to respond. The konnect wifi is terrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

This internet has been very slow and unstable lately. You CANNOT rely on this internet for work
