Kolamba At Home Bewertungen

Delicious selection of curries, rice and rotis. Well packaged and still on ice on arrival. Easy to prepare and very tasty. Very generous amount for two.
I would have preferred to have some information on how hot (chillis) each curry had as there was no indication and the cashew and coconut curry was very hot and spicy.

Provided the ideal surprise gift for our Vegan relatives without compromising on flavour or quality. Excellent service.

I’m half Sri Lankan and have grown up with a grandma making me all of her amazing family recipes from Colombo and the kolamba at home kit is just as good!!!!! I’m always on the hunt for great Sri Lankan restaurants and Kolamba is definitely that! It was truly delicious and so authentic. Definitely ordering again!

It was not anything special.
Got this for my parents during lockdown - they said it was ok but would not get again.

Really great service, good communication and arrived exactly on time. The food was delicious

Absolutely delicious food, thoroughly enjoyable and such good portions

True taste of home! Being Malaysian with Ceylon Tamil ethnicity, i am slightly awestruck at how much this tasted like dishes at home. Lovely chicken curry (don’t hesitate to make it more spicy)
:) thank you, the meal was fabulous on New Years Day! Happy 2022 :)

I was very excited to see the chicken string hopper byriani on offer for nationwide delivery again! The package was received in a bit of a mess- the contents had been jostled during delivery and the crepes had leaked all over the box as had the byriani (this was vac-packed so it didn’t mess up the box but made cooking it messy). Perhaps a smaller box would reduce this from happening? Once again very delicious. Last time the gravy for the Burbank was missing from the order this added even more delicious flavour to the dish. Mutton rolls are my most favourite thing my mum cooks. These were different to mums but still very tasty with the right amount of spice. The chilli garlic sauce was really delicious. The crepes were unfortunately very dry but the flavour of the coconut and cardomom was memorable (so much so that I ate that without the crepes!). Sadly all this was all voided by getting one of the worst cases of food poisoning from the meal so that has reduced the rating significantly. I ate it for lunch that day (it was delivered at 9am and stored in the fridge until lunch). Shame….! It was so tasty…

A real treat. Food was delicious and so much of it for only two people, Will last us several nights. Would love a fish/seafood option.

The food was beautifully fresh and delicious leaving you wanting more.

Delicious aromatic food. Reminded us of honeymoon in southern Sri Lanka. Great choice for a family birthday meal. Team were helpful and responded promptly to emails.

My Christmas Hamper was delivered with one broken jar & Kolamba sent out not just a replacement jar but a whole new hamper within 3 days of the original hamper being sent. Excellent customer service!

Food was fantastic, tasted really fresh and arrived well packaged. Very easy to cook and made for a nice christmas treat!
Only downside was I was given the wrong apron! It was in stock at the time of ordering but must have run out before my order was shipped.
But it still looked great and was a nice extra gift.

I bought a feast box plus some extras as a gift for friends who were isolating over Christmas. They absolutely loved it and said it was amazing. Delicious food and drink, very easy to put together (just heat up rather than any cooking required), clear instructions, no issues with ordering and delivery was correct and on time. I haven’t tried the food or the restaurant myself but based on my friends’ great experience, I’ll definitely buy a feast for myself soon too.

Really tasty Sri Lankan food. The delivery service is reliable and the food very easy to prepare at home.

This was an excellent Srilankan vegetarian treat.
We enjoyed the meal.
Wishing you all the best for your future.

Bought as a gift but was told it was delicious and full of great flavour combinations. Perfect gift idea for treating someone in times of lockdown

Food was delicious – really special. I wish the packaging was changed so that ordering dinner for four didn't mean twice as much packaging as dinner for two.
