I’ve entered a few Kilted Competitions draws before and been happy with the results. However, my experience with their “KILTED FOR THE WIN – EVERY TICKET WINS 5,000 INSTANT WINS + £5,000 CASH END PRIZE” draw on 13 August 2025 (£20 per ticket) has raised serious concerns about fairness and transparency.

I won a £100 Random Ticket Bundle — great in theory — but the allocation of competitions from this “random” prize does not appear to be truly random. I challenge the company to prove otherwise.

At the time, there were 41 competitions on the site, 37 of which had either a physical prize or a cash alternative (including site credit that can be withdrawn). Yet my £100 worth of tickets was only applied to competitions that offered more tickets rather than any of these real prize draws.

Even stranger — I was entered into two “different” golden ticket competitions for the same prize (“Win a £1,000 Golden Ticket into the 5 Bed House or £275,000 Cash Draw #4” and #5) which had different ticket prices (£2 and £5) but which I couldn’t even see listed on the site at the time. This raises the question: how can a supposedly automated random allocation place me into a competition that isn’t even visible, let alone two versions of it?

The four competitions I was “randomly” entered into were:
• Win a £1,000 Golden Ticket into the 5 Bed House or £275,000 Cash Draw #4
• Double Bubble WIN £500 Quick CASH PLUS £500 Worth of Tickets into 5 Bedroom House or £275,000 Cash Main Draw #3
• Win a £1,000 Golden Ticket into the 5 Bed House or £275,000 Cash Draw #5
• Win A £1,000 Ticket Bundle into the Car Comps #3

All of these were due to be drawn the same night, 13 August 2025 — and none came from the other 37 live competitions offering actual prizes. This strongly suggests that “random” allocation is being manually managed to minimise the company’s costs by avoiding putting winners into draws that could result in real payouts.

While Kilted Competitions do give away prizes, this experience leaves me questioning the legitimacy of their internal processes and whether their advertising is misleading. Without oversight from the Gambling Commission, these companies are self-regulated — which makes transparency and trust even more important.

I will be emailing Kilted Competitions to request proof of their random allocation process. If I don’t receive a satisfactory response, I will be reporting this to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), and Trading Standards via Advice Direct Scotland (ADS), as well as flagging it to Facebook for potential false advertising.

Fab range of competitions to suit all pockets. Brilliant prizes, friendly staff. Love the lives and occasional free competitions.

I dont like that you can't pick your own number of tickets ie , you might have a lucky numbers and want to purchase 666 ,888 or 1043 but you cant see the available numbers still to be raffled , if that makes sense ,you get the raffle number your given , and even then l cant see the tickets and their number ,i think maybe I'm doing something wrong ,as thus doesn't seem right

Enjoy this site, Ive won a few cash prizes and a B&Q gift card after only a few weeks. They email to let you know if you've won, cash and gift card was sent to me very quickly. I dont have facebook so cant watch the live draws, but they always email to confirm a win and it's all very quick. Nice range of prizes. Very happy.

I'm a new player of kilted after finding some things that seemed unfair on another site and I haven't won yet but after watching lives they seem really genuine, plus a wide range of comps for different budgets

I buy tickets to win prizes and like the company but I find it really disappointing when you buy as many tickets as you can afford. Then find there are competitions run to win £1000 worth of tickets for the same big comps. So the people who win these comps have a much much bigger advantage than those who are just buying
Two or three… I just didn’t expect when I entered the comp that there would be further comps…. Which will make me think twice about buying in future.

Although I've never won, I love trying and have been with kilted since early on. There is a great selection of prizes. Enjoy watching the crew of kilted on their videos. They are so happy and friendly. The best thing is, success hasn't gone to their head, and you can see how happy they are for the winners. They are all a group of beautiful people who are happy in changing people's lives. I shouldn't say this but I love the wee redhead, she seems so full of devilment and energy....I swear she has a wind up screw at the back.

Have tried the house in Aberdeen competition with just one ticket. Seems simple enough. Have looked at all the reviews. Mainly positive but a few not so positive however a few certainly unjustified complaints. The CEO has commented on the negative comments and cleared up a few things for those making the comments. Let's be honest, this is not a charity. Look at The National Lottery. It's a business and it is there to make money and in doing so make the lives of others a little better. These lotteries are regulated and there are strict rules about it all. This is my first entry. Saw it on STV and decided to spend £5. I am not in any way involved in any lottery and have no knowledge of the people in Kilted, just to make that clear.

Genuine comps amazing prizes played a few years now. Won £1000 instant cash and a £50 meal voucher. Got to be in it to win. Lovely people too.
